I made a friend today!

A pretty golden retriever.

She bounded over to lick my face.

She wasn't scared of my smile.

But the man on the end of her leash was.

Grumbling, he pulled my new friend away,

Leaving me alone,

Wondering what I did,

To deserve such animosity,

That not even dogs

Are allowed near me.
