Rainbowdash woked up with a huge grin on her face. Last night was the best night of her life. Although she still felt a little dissapointed of herself for forgetting theur monthsary, She felt relieved when Soarin pointed out it was fine. As long as she wouldn't forget again.

She yawned and stretched but then realized she wasn't in her room or her bed. Infact she was still outside at the garden lying fast asleep on the picnic blanket with a sleepy Soarin snoring loudly right next to her.

She smiled a little and kissed his forehead then shook him a little to wake him up. "Soar! Soarin wake up we have a Finale today" She said. Upon hearing the word finale. Soarin sat up straight, eyes widened. "Oh shit I didn't studied! I was so busy preparing for yout surpise I comepletely forgot!" He said groaning. As quick as lightning he flew back inside and towards his room to prepare and perhaps even do a little reviewing with the spare time he has left. Which was only...... Nine minutes.

Dash blinked and then snickered before standing up on all four hooves and then decided to go to her room and take off her dress.

"Lets see if all of Starlight's lecturing would pay off, jeez from the way she keeps her eyes glued on all of us to make sure we were realy studying! She acts so much like Twilight I wouldn't be surprised if they turned out to be long lost twins" She muttered.

And speaking of Twilight Sparkle, she bumped into that pony right away. "Ouch, oh hey Twi" she greeted rather bluntly.

Twilight beamed at her. "How'd it go with your night with your handsome coltfriend?" She teased. Dash's pupils shrank and blushed a deep red realizing that her friends saw them from somewhere.

"Uhhhh, it um, went well hehe" She awkwardly said.

Twilight just grinned at her. But then they were inturrupted by an ear splitting scream from somewhere.

"What the what?!" Dash exclaimed and then rushed to where the scream came from. They led to the outside of one of the dorms and a fee ponies were there surrounding something. Dash and Twilight saw Starlight, Misty fly, and Wave chill.

"Whats going on? What happened?" Dash asked concerned. Misty fly looked like she has been crying, and Starlight looked very serious. "Its...its....its Trixie!" Wave chill choked out. Dash pushed pass the othrr ponies to see for herself. And to her horror, Trixie Lulamoon was lying on the floor, eye wide open but comepletely blank, un-moving, her breathing was very low.

"HELP! Please help us!" Dash shouted.

"I warnes her not to touch it" Lightning's voice said smugly. Dash whip her head around and saw Lightning looking satisfied and a little upset. "What did you do?!" Dash demanded. Then her eyes landed on a necklace just a few inches away from Trixie's grasp.

Starlight finnaly spoke. "Get back! Everypony get back! Dash don't touch that thing its cursed!" hearing this Dash faced the necklace, then Trixie, and them het rival.

"You didn't"

"I did" Dust answered smirking. "Why?!" Misty fly screached. "Its just for the sake of fun...and teaching that pathethic little unicorn a lesson for betraying me" That was the only reply they got from Lightning dust, and then all of a sudden her eyes glowed green and then she spoked but not to them but rather....to herself?

"But I did what you told me! She is the element of- I found out about it lastnight and-- Hang on what?! Yes...yes your highness" her eyes stopped glowimg and then she glared hard on Dash. "We'll deal with each other later" And with that she flew away.

Dash didn't had time to worry about Lightning's threat, because she still need to worry about Trixie, who looked like she was dying in front of them.

Dash then remembered something she read on the book of wonders. Somewhere on the healing spell page. Wingardiom Cresviousa. She rushed to the garden and took a white rose, plucked out its petals and rushed back inside to Trixie snd placed all the petals on her heart amd muttered "Wingardiom Creseviousa, el hela heal ya!"

At first nothing happened. Everyone braced themselves then, Trixie's sat up straight and gasped for air, her eyes turning back to blue and her colors coming back again. She looked like she just woked up from her little nap.

They cheered for Dash's heroic deed, but Dash wasn't listening, her eyes were glued to the necklace. Starlight levitated it near her face and examined it, careful not to touch it. "Star? Whadda ya think?" Wavce chill asked. "I think that Miss Lulamoon is lucky to be alive" Somepony said from behind them. They all backed up to reveal Silverdoe's pale and thing figure.

Soon Spitfire, Fleetfoot, Soarin, Rapidfire, and Surprise came along. "Heard the scream but got held back by Shinning Armour, what happened?" Soarin asked.

Silverode sighed. "Everyone return to your dormitories" He comanded. They all started to leave but then he spoke again. "Everyone except!  You eight" He said pointing at Rainbowdash, Soarin, Spitfire, Starlight, Trixie, Rapidfire, Misty fly, and  Fleetfoot. Wave chill wanted to follow them but Spitfire gaved him a look, and he nodded understandingly and left.

Silverdoe looked grim, then he motioned for them to follow him and took them to his office.

"Sit" He comanded and then lit up his horn, all of a sudden eaight comfortable chairs appeared. They all sat down next to each other and looked at him in the eye.

"Tell me what you know and saw" He said calmly. Soarin got a very careful look at him and saw he was looking rather older and tired. Very tired.

"Me, Starlight and Wave chill were just talking, and then we saw Lightning corner Trixie in the halls outside the dormitories. We watched from afar but then there was this parcel Lightning was holding and Trixie got suspcious I guess. They fought and then next thing we knew she....she....."Before Misty fly can finnish, she bursted into tears again. "Shush, there was ntohing we could have done Misty, it wasn't our foult. Luckily, if Dash hadnt came along and did what she did Trixie would probably be as good as dead" Starlight assured awkwardly.

"Any way, the second Trixie got hold of the parcel, she ripped it open and saw the necklace, Lightning was looking realy smug. She said not to touch it byt Trixie disobeyed and then....she layed there on the floor not moving. We rushed to her side" Starlight finnished rather lamely. "And you know what happened next"

"Yes, Miss Dash's heroic act was rather....um, heroic indeed but the question is why? Why would Lightning do such a thing to her own friend?" He asked. Soarin slammed his hoof on Silverdoe's desk and shouted. "BECAUSE SHE IS NOTHING BUT A COLD, CRUEL, SELFISH BULLY! AND SHE DOESN'T CARE WHAT THE BUCK HAPPENS TO HER FREIND! SHE PROBABLY DID THAT JUST TO TAKE REVENGE ON HER BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T WANNA BE FRIENDS WITH HER ANYMORE!" He yelled. But he wasn't done yet.

Dash has never seen him look so angry before. She put a hoof on his shoulder to calm him down. He did just a little and sat down back to his chair next to his marefriend. "Sir, something is wrong. Lightning talked to herself infront of us and said something about an element and...her highness? Anyway she is up to something, and its up to us to figure it out" Dash said and gestured to herself and her friends.

Silverdoe didn't replied. "I do not want any of my students to get hurt, but you are right. I have been suspecting something on miss Dust the day she dissapeared and reapeared here, and it seems she is not planning something alone. I think an old enemy may be back" He said.

"What do you mean?" Soarin demanded.

"I think its best if you head to class now. Let the adults deal with this" Silverdoe said calmly but firmly.

Soarin wanted to argue but Rainbow's look on him bade him shut up. They all stood up ready to leave but Soarin was held back by Silverdoe. "One momment Soarin. I want a word with you"

Dash pretended to leave but the momment the door was closed, she put her ear to it and listened closely. Starlighy stayed behind too and listened with her, and When Spitfire saw them she couldn't resist but to listen aswel.

Inside the room Soarin sat down infront of Silverdoe. "What?" He asked grumpily. "I see you have been getting very well with miss Dash" Silverdoe began smilling. Soarin nodded. "But....do you remember? Before she arrived here we talked about your graduation should you managed to change her?" Silverdoe went on.

Soarim remembered. But he didn't care about it anymore. As long as Rainbow was on his side, he didn't care about graduating Bloors. "Yea I do but I don't care anymore. I'm perfetly happy with my new life with Dashie and graduating hrre without her is a punishment I won't live with" He explained. Silverdoe nodded in aproval.

"Yes well, then I know you love her so much you would do anything it takes to protect her?" Silverdoe went on. Soarin was confused. Protect her? From what? Dash and her friends were confused too. They pressrd their ears harder and listenned intently. "Soarin. I did not wish to inform you this news early, because I see how happy you are with her. But I am afraid I cannot wait any longer. Soarin Skies, I am afraid your marefriend is in danger, and so are some of your friends" Silverdoe went on.

Soarin's face paled and his heart hammered.

Starlight gasped and Spitfire shushed her. Dash was confused yet nervous at the same time.

"Soarin, I am not going to live longer. I am growing very old and I cannot protect you students anymore. My magic is growing weaker and weaket by the minute. I am turning 300 years old in three months time. And if I dide I shall be fully connected to the tree of harmony, the magical tree that is located somewhere in the everfree forest. It is also connected to the elements of harmony, the most powerful weapons of Eqeustria. And these elements are called the elements of Honesty, loyalty, Magic, Inspiration, Forgiveness, Kindness,  and generousity. These seven elements are connected to seven ponies who posses the qualities to be the bearers of the elements of harmony. And it seems that Miss Lulamoon is the bearer of Honesty, and I think Lightning had a diffirent motive for trying to kill her friend" Silverdoe explained.

"So what your saying is, without the elements of harmony, there will be no balance in Equestria? And without any bearers of the elements, bad things will happen?" Soarin asked. Silverdoe nodded solemly. "But what does any of this got anything to do with me and my friends?" Soarin asked.

"I have a theory some of your friends are the bearers of the elements of Magic, Inspiration, Loyalty,  Forgiveness, kindness and generousity. We have already found honesty. It is onky a matter of time before Lightning dust and her new friends find the rest. But I have a theory it won't be long. It is Rainbowdash who is still the bearer of the element of Loyalty, as she was the bearer of it before, and her old friends were the bearers of it once, not it is passed on to others. You and her share the element of Loyalty Soarin. So please.....take care" Silverdoe said.

This news made Soarin determined. Spitfire, Starlight and Dash heard his hoof steps and they scrambled to get away from the door. This news they needed to spread this to their other friends. They need to find the other elements fast before Lightning finds them first and do the sane thing she did to Trixie, to their other friends.

But Dash was thinking. Soarin too was the bearer of the element of loyalty. Would that mean there would also be other ponies who could share the element of Magic, geneouristy, laughter, kindness, forgiveness, inspiration, and honesty?

No doubt something fishy is going on. Byt there was one thing Silverdoe forgot that she remembered. The elements of harmony weren't seven. They were eaight. Because Silverdoe forgot to mention Laughter.
