Lightning's journey back to her school wasn't a very easy and pleasent one. Before, when she had two scary creatures on her side while going through the adventures in the everfreee forest, none of the wild beasts wanted to attack them. But now that she was all alone she felt uneasy.

But there were other things in her mind that was giving her headaches. Like what she was suppose to do. Was it worth it? She has never gone so far as to even kill somepony, sure she thretenned them to do so but she never realy achieved it. Also, is it gonna be worth it? Once she has Dash and het meddlesome friends out of the way, she can have Soarin all to herself. Chrysalis gaved her a power. A power that can only be used when the time is right.

Chrysalis told her about her task. She was told to find out who the next elements of harmony are, and earn their trust. And once she has achieved that, she'll stab them in the back and bring them to Chrysalis, Sombra, and Discord, where they will drain their powers and when they are week enough. Lightning can end their misery by.....putting them to sleep....permanently. In short, it means they are going to die.

Then they will al rule all over equestria, and everypony shall fear their names. "Is this realy what you want?" Lightning's head and heart asked her. "Is it worth it? Will all this be totaly worth it? What about friendship? Don't you want to have friends?" Her concious asked her.

She didn't know what she wanted anymore. She didn't know what to do. What is the right thing? How is she gonna do the right thing? Which side should she be on? She was so confused.

Soon she arrived home at Bloors academy. She went to the back at the garden and went through the invisible barrier that kept them all inside. She still hadn't asked how she was able to pass the barrier though. But she'll certainly ask later.

It was almost dinner time and she wanted to shower. She also didn't wanna meet anypony along the way so she kept dead quiet.

However she was unsuccesful though because the Flash twins and Trixie lulamoon saw her. "Lightning?" Trixie called out. Lightning tensed up and turned around to face her. Then she noticed that something was diffirent with the blue unicorn. When did she started hanging out with those losers?

"Trixie? What are doing here? And with them?" She asked and eyed the twins who returned her suspicious look. Right on cue, Rainbowdash and Soarin along with Fluttershy and Misty fly came along.

"Great. Just. Great" Lightning Dust thought. Rainbow glared at her and then eyed her up and down. Her mane was a mess, she had a few scratches and bruises, her hooves were realy muddy, and she looked tired. "Where have you been after all these past few weeks?" She demanded. "Why do you care?!" Lightning snapped.

"She is just being concerned about you thats all" Misty fly meekly said.

Lightning and Rainbow scoffed. "Friends? Yea right" they thought.

"Its rude not to answer a question you know? Or are you that dumb to understand that?" Soarin snapped. Lihhtning gritted her teeth. But she was out numbered, and she still has no idea how or what her powers are or how to activate it.

"Tss, whatever, Trixie lets go" She said and was about to walk away but stopped when Trixie didn't follow her. "Trix? C'mon!" She beckoned irritated. Trixie didn't moved. Soon a few more of their friends who were passing by, saw them and decided to look. "Whats happening?" Fleetfoot asked. "Oh, so your back" Spitfire said and crossed her hooves.

"Who is she?" Twilight asked only to be ignored.

"Trixie lulamoon! Come here!" Lightning bossed. Trixie remained still and didn't even looked at her. Lightning's face softenned as she thought of this horrifying truth. How long has she been gone? How long has she left this poor unicorn mare alone in the dark?

"Trix....are you?" She started and then stared at all their faces. "Starlight, Rainbowdash, Soarin, Flash magnus, Flash sentry, Fleetfoot, Surprise, Cheese,Rapidfire, Spitfire,Misty fly, Wave chill, everyone. Even the new girls.

Her hooves began to buckle. "I don't wanna be with you anymore. Your mean, your rude, you treat me more like a servant then a friend, a pony to entertain you! You think I'm a joke, and I've just had enough of you! So I took Rainbow's advice! You are nothing but a stupid jerk and I can do better then you can!" Trixie shouted bravely. But she wasn't done yet. "I was too stupid to see the truth, I was too weak to say something true, but now anymore, and the truth is right here Lightning Dust, the truth that I have always wanted to say! Your an un-cool bully and very bad! And I don't ever never forever wanna be your friend ever again!" She finnaly said it.

She finnaly said what she has veen dying to say for the last few decades she has been Lightning's little puppet. But not anymore. This time, she's gonna fight. This time, she'll be the one to pull the strings.

What she didn't know, was that what she did triggered the element of honesty. And now she is the new bearer of it.

Rarity saw Twilight's bag glowing and gaved her a 'Psst!' Twilight heard and saw her bag. She nodded and then left to go see it privately in her room.

Lightning's heart shattered into a million peices, and slowly, the spell was taking place, Chrysalis's curse entered her head. Hearta and cutie mark. And it can only be activated by the right momments. This momment was heart breaking and cold for Lightning. She truly lost it. She has lost the one pony who ever treated her as a real friend and she has secretly let herself care for. Her heart turned black and hard as a stone.

Her eyes glinted and she licked her lip. "Very well Loonymoon, if thats the shit you want then fine! I don't care whatever happens to you" She said icily before turning away and going to her room.

Rainbowdash didn't know what just happened back there, but she felt proud of Trixie. Starlight patted Trixie's back and Soarin gaved her a teeny smile. "You were so awesome!" Rainbow cheered.

"You were tough, not as tough as me but, tough enough" Spitfire said smirking.

"This calls for a celebration!" Cheese and Pinkie exclaimed started to write things down on their party list. Soon everyone startsd preparing to go to their rooms.

Soarin shrugged and was about to follow but then remembered something. Dash saw him in deeo thoughts. "Soarin? You ok?" She asked but Soarin wasn't listening. She rolled her eyes and trotted over. "Sooooooarin!" She whinned. But still was ignored. Soarin was planning a speacila something for Rainbowdash. Since they have already been dating for four weaks, its their anniversary. Oh wait no, better make it their weaksary.

"Wait a momment here Dash! I'll be right back" He said and then flew away at lightning speed. Dash stood there confused but stayed put like her crazy coltfriend told her too.

If this was another one of his pranks then she'd get him back.

She waited for a good twenty minutes but then soon Soarin arrived back wearing a fancy tux. "Whats the occasion?" She asked. "Later, now get yourself change. I got a surprise for you" He said and pushed her to the Fleetfoot and Spitfire's room.

Fleetfoot was there alone looking for her journal when the door swung open. Soarin flew in, dragging Dash with him. He whispered something to Fleetfoot and her eyes widened. She grinned. "Halleluja!" She said. Pushed Soarin out of the room and faced Dash.

"Seriously, am I missing something?" Dash asked confused. Fleetfoot didn't asnwered and instead rushed out of the room, only to return a few momments back with Starlight and Rarity beaming at her excitedly. "Oh darling! Its so good to hear that you finnaly found a coltfriend! No offense deary but I thought you'd still be single even after all these years and I thought when I first laid my eyes on him he'd be.....available" She sighed and then shrugged and set to work.

Soon enough Dash was wearing a peach colored dress that stuck tightly to her skin and some gold horse shoes. Fleetfoot tide her mane up to a braided bun and gaved her an ear ring. Rarity was levitating ger birthday gift to Dash and then put the necklace on her friend.

Starlight squeeled excitedly and gaved her the finnishing touches of the make over.

"Seriously guys! Am I not getting the answers to all this?" Dash said grumpily. "Oh come on Dash don't be such a wuss" Fleetfoot said rolling her eyes. Then they led her to the garden where dozens of fireflies were there, lighting up the place.

A table was set there and filled with food Dash liked. Soarin emerged from the shadows and smiled at her. "Happy four weeks aniversary my Dashie" He said. Hearing this almost made Dash facehoof. "Shit I forgot! Soarin's gonna be so dissapointed" she thought. Nevertheless, she sat down next to Soarin and startes to eat her spaggeti. It was so good! She didn'r knew Soarin can cook like this. But then again, he probably had help from the gang. Again.

Surprise was watching them unintentionaly up from her balcony which over looks the garden. She beamed and squeeled whem she saw how romantic her friends looked like. "Hey Surprise whatcha lookin' at?" Spitfire asked and then trotted over to the balcony and smirked. She beckoned for her other friends to come and watch. Applejack and Trixie whislted. Misty fly anf Fluttershy were smilling meekly, Surprise and Pinkie were thinking of throwing another party, Starlight and Twilight were giggling and secretly taking pictures.

Spitfire sighed and smiled wider. Bug then her smile slowly faded. Her thoughys wandersd to her own coltfriend Wave chill. She and him have been a little distant for a couple of weeks. They don't realy talk much, and often fight about things.

He never took her to any more romantic, funny, adeventureful dates, and all their dates tend to get boring. Then she thought about Fleetfoot and Rapidfire. All those times when they were kids, all those years he worked hard to win her love and affection. She wondered what would have happened if she accepted his affections for her a long time ago?

He possesed many qualities Wave chill doesn't. And when times got ruagh it was him who was there to comrfort her.

She shook her head. "What am I thinking? Its too late for regrets now" She sighed and decided to have a little chat with Wave chill tommorow.

However, Spitfire wasn't the only pony who's smile had faded away. Surprise stopped smilling and stayed still. Her stomach was tail was tingling. And this only happened whenever something was wrong. She called it her surppy sense.

And right now. She knows. Something dad is about to happen. Something very bad
