Rainbow's POV

well me and Soar has been dating for three weeks now (A/N: Time skip duh)

And for the past three weeks we've become closer and closer then ever. We don't realy fight much, he pranks me two times a day and I prank him.....five times an hour. But he loves me too much to stay mad at me, after all, who can stay mad at such a face like mine?

Trixie is doing good, she's beeb making friends so far, but she is still treated like an outcast by the other students. We're her only friends. By the way, where is Lightning dust? I haven't seen her for a while now. Also, I've noticed Twilight has been flirting with Flash sentry. Starlight, being an egghead, has been spending her days in the library studying for an exam that is months and months away! I mean who does that?!

Anyway, next month there is gonna be a ball. They call it the Yule ball (A/N: Harry potter ahahaha I am in a lot of fandomes now) And Fleetfoot has been taking sewing lessons to sew us gowns. Rarity has been helping her a little. Fleetfoot has been generous to us, generous by reminding us to act prim and proper during the entire ball and not to mess our gowns. Ugh. The ball is a month away! Also since when has she been acting so girly and lady-like?

"Hey Dashing" Soarin greeted materializing from thin air again. How does he do that anyway?

"Hi" I said and kissdd his forehead. He sat down next to me. We were in my room, I was reading a Daring do book and loving it! Its awesome, I mean who doesn't love Daring do?

"What are you reading?" Soarin asked. I rolled my eyes in annoyance, I do that everytime someone interrupts me from my reading. "Daring Do, and The Castle of mirrors" I said and stuck my nose to the book again.

Daring groaned and shook her head, her boat was in peices, and a high tide was coming, when she looked up she gasped in amazement, there stood on a high hill was a magnificent castle, a castle made of glass like mirrors. "Where am I?" She asked herself awed. She stood up and dusted herself and made her way towards it

"That sounds interesting, I'm gonna read some too" Soarin's goofy voice inturrupted my reading again. "Uh huh, you do that" I said not taking my eyes from the page. "Quietly" I added.

Pretty soon Soarin sat down on the bed next to me, lying on his belly he opened it and read it. I saw he was reading Daring do and the Blue boa

I tried to focus on my book, But I just couldn't. I watched as Soarin's eyes glimmered in excitement, he had this look of awestruck on his face. I watched him read it and smiled. He'll probably be as addicted to the book as I am!

He finnished it after an hour and closdd it shut. "Do you have the next one?" He asked excited. I nodded and pointed to the bookshelf. He flew towards it and was about to pull out one when, he looked down and saw my Tank. "Oh hi buddy" Soarin greeted and picked him up. Tank gaved him one of his cute smiles.

"Adorable" Soarin said and handed my pet to me. "Not as adorable as you can be" I blurted out and then placed a hoof at my mouth. SINCE WHEN HAVE I BEEN SUCH A SOFTIE?????

"awww thanks babe" He said wiggling his eyebrows.

I groaned and then threw a pillow at him. He dodged it though. He walked towards me and sat down next to me. Then I remembered something. I grinned. "Soar, do you know what day it is?" I asked beaming. "Uhhh Sunday?" He said. "Well yea but other then that, what day it is?" I pressed. "July 1?" He said.

My face fell. "You seriously, Don't remember?!" I yelled. I turned my back in him and pouted. "Dashie, sorry" He said.

"Sorry your face! How can you forget your own marefriend's birthday?! I know we have only been dating for three shitty weeks but still!" I snapped. "Sorry Dash, I kinda forgot, I've been busy lately" He said without any sincere in his voice.

Then I heard the door open and close again, but I still didn't turned around. "Dash come on! Please face me" Soarin pleaded. I kept my back turned and lips in a straight line. "Dashing" He purred.

I shivered slightly when I felt him wrap his hooves around my waist and gaved kisses down to my neck. I moaned. Then I fekt being blindfolded. "Hey! Soarin this isn't realy helping your case!" I scolded.

"Ok guys hurry up!" Soarin ordered. Then, He took off my blindfold and....

"SURPRISE!!!!" All our friends cheered. My mouth hung open. There was a banner on the wall saying

Happy 18th birthday Rainbowdash!

"Surprise now!" Soarin said, Surprise pulled her party canon and then balloons and streamers appeared.

"Oh oh! Won't it be fun if we do it together?" Pinkie suggested and then pulled out her own party cannon and then they pulled their party cannons together, more streamers came out, and balloons, and colorful confetti.

"Happy birthday Dash" Spitfire said and then Starlight cane levitating a big blueberry cake with the icing saying

Happy birthday Dash! From Soarin, Spitfire, Wave chill, The Flash twins, Fleetfoot, Rapidfire, Misty fly, Trixie, Starlight, Fluttershy, Pinkie pie, Twilight, Rarity, , Fire streak Applejack,Cheese and Surprise!

You are our rainbow!

I felt realy touched. So Soarin hadn't forgotten after all! None of them did.

"Turn on the music!" Trixie said to Surprise. "Lets get this party started!" She squeeled and then pulled out a set of microphones, a speaker, and then soon music was blasting.

The song was Cheap thrills by songbird serenade. We danced to the beat. Soarin grabbed my hoof and twirled me. Flash sentry was dancing with Twilight, Pinkie grooving with Cheese, Spitfire with Wave chill, Rarity with Applejack (A/N: I ship it) Fleetfoot with Rapidfire, Surprise with Star and Trix. And Fire streak not reaky dancing but gulping down the whole punch bowl!

"happy birthday!" Soarin bellowed. "I love you!" I said loudly. Soarin said something but I couldn't hear. He said it again but I still couldn't hear. "I CAN'T HEAR YOU!" I shouted.

Soon the music stopped and he shouted "I LOVE YOU MY DASHIE!" He yelled. "We Know Soarin" Everyone said.

I was blushing like crazy. He seemed so embarrassdd and he gaved me an awkward grin. I rolled my eyes and pressed my lips to his. He was surprised but gotten over it and and kissed me enhtusiasticly. Sparks are flying again, there were these fireworks, and my heart was pounding.

The kiss lasted for two minutes and then I pulled away. Soarin looked like he just won the lottery or something. "I have literaly the most awesome marefriend ever!" he said grinning.

"And we have the most amazing best friend we can ever wish for" Misty fly shyly said.

"To be completely honest, I beth nopony can ever outstand our Rainbowdash!" Trixie said honestly.

"The most generous" Fleetfoot said.

"The most loyal" Spitfire added.

"The most forgiving" Twilight Sparkle said in a teary voice.

"The most funniest!" Surprise said gigggling. "But not as funny as I can be!" She added and stuffed her face with pie.

"The most kindest" Said Misty fly

"Inspirational" The Flash twins added in unison.

"Twenty percent cooler then anypony!" Rapidfire said.

"The most beautiful mare, and the rainbow of my sky" Soarin said looking down at me with the softest smile ever. His green emerald eyes shimmering.

"Rainbowdash....is the most perfect best friend! And we' re proud to have met her" Starlight exclaimed. We all nodded in agreement. We grouped hugged, not sure how all 18 of us managed to have to hug each other in a groupie.

We pulled away and Soarin lighted my cake. They sang happy birthday and I blew out the candle. They clapped their hooves.

We partied again and continued until late 11 and then they all left to go to bed. Spitfire and Wave and Soarin stayed for a while but the two left leaving me with Soarin.

Once the door was closed, Soarin went to lock it. "Sooo" He trailed on. "What now Dashie" He asked bouncing his eyebrows suggestively. "How about we do something fun?" I suggested with a smirk.

"Like what?" he asked taking a few steps towards me. "Like.....opening my presents?" I suggested. He looked a little dissapointed at first but then just rolled with it. "Ok" He said in a bored tone. "I'll open yours first" I suggested, but then he brightenned up. "Nah, open mine last, save the best for last Dash"He said smirking. Wonder what he got for me.

I opened Spitfire's present first, being my favorite best friend and the first friend I managed to have here. She got me a White shirt with my cutie mark on it as a design, some pink and white stripped skirt, and a blue short sleeved jacket.

"Wonder why we bother to wear clothes, ponies don't realy wear clothes anyway" He said. I shrugged and opened Flash sentry's present next. He got me a brand new saddle bag with my name embroidered on it. Starlight got me a book about the Shadowbolts, and also a song book to write my songs on it.

Fluttershy's present is a blue and red butterfly clip, Pinkie got me a cook book, Rarity got me a blue diamond necklace shaped like a heart, Applejack got me an Apple hair pin.

Twilight got me a photo album to put all our pictures and memmories in it. Rapidfire got me a shiny gold colored pen with my initials in it, Wave chill's gift was an entire box of chocolates, Surprise got me a music box and ont he inside was a picture of us in our gowns at the fall formal.

Fire streak's gift was a blue and gold scarf. Which was our wonderbolt colors, Cheese got me a book about pranks (Which is something that will definitely come in handy for me hehe) Flash magnus's present was a red headset and sunglasses with pink lenses. And Trixie's present was a realy awesome brooch.

"Nice!" I said and then put it all in my closet neatly. The books were all placed at the bookshelves.

"So what did you got me?" I asked facing Soarin. He smirked and then moved closer to me and then pinned me down to my bed.

"You'll see" He said smirking wider

I think I know what he is on about
