Rainbow's POV

One month has passed since the........kiss. and things have been pretty awkward between me and Soarin. On the bright side, Fleetfoot is fine now! She and Rapidfire are finnaly dating! And which got me thinking. Maybe the book was wrong? Maybe nothing bad will happen.

I'm worrying over nothing! And Soarin....if Soarin says he isn't hidding something then he isn't hidding something.

Also, the fall formal is tommorow night!

And thanks to it, classes had to be cut short, everypony is super busy,  ans Starlight and Misty fly had been busy both with our band practices, and making dresses for us. Its realy nice and generous of them, kinda reminds me of....Rarity.

"Why the long face Rainbow?" Surprise asked me.

"W-what? Nothing I was just...thinking" I said faking a smile. "Oh, Ok!" She said and then bounced off.

I smiled at her. "Well well, if it isn't the mare who stole my colt!" ugh! Not Lightning again!

I faced her and she stood there glaring at me. "What do you want Lightning?" I asked calmly.

"I want you.....to suffer!" She said ans was about to attack me, but headmaster Silverdoe stopped her. "Lightning dust, you know fighting is against the rules" He said frowning at her. She looked away from him. "Y-yes sir" She said timidly and then glared at me one last time before flying away. Silverdoe looked at me before smilling. He was about to leave,when he whispered to me ear.

"I know you know about the room or requierment, and you have called it the room of wonders, and now you have shown your friends, you are planning on showing it....to somepony very special to your heart?" he whispered in a father like manner.

"Sir...how did you know?"

"About your knowledge of the room of requierment/Wonders? Or your little crush on....Mr.Skies?" He asked smilling fondly.

"Well uh, both actualy" I replied. "Well, one does not need a book to make thyself invisible, or a spell, simply put on an invisibility cloak and go there, I was in that room when you first visited it, and I know you took a page there, you must give it to me my dear, know that you don't need that page to make you feel beautiful, you are already beautiful to the eyes of many, you just need to learn it for yourself" He said.

I nodded and then took the page I ripped off fron the book of wonders, took it from my saddle bag and gaved it to him.

He smiled at me. "Also, I know your feelings for Soarin because of observation dear, and I believe he feels the same way for you" He said.

"Now, go on and prepare for tonight's fall formal, and have a good evening" He said and patted my heads if I was his daughter and left.

*********Time skip to tonight....

~Twenty minutes till the fall formal~

"Hurry up! We need to get ready, we need to look amazing to stand out to the rest" Starlight said and flipped her mane.

"Ouch! My mane!" I cried out as Misty fly attempted to comb it. "Honestly, do you even use shampoo?" She asked and then pulled on my mane again. "Yea! I do!" I said and yelped in pain again.

We were getting ready for the fall formal and Starlight is getting us ready, she made us these realy cool dresses. Ok, well they were beautiful actualy.

"There! Now put this on" Misty fly said and pushed me to the dressing closet and when I emerged, they awed. "Whoa, you look...wow" Spitfire said. I was wearing this silky, pink gown, not realy pink because they know its not mu style, so its like pink but its more of silvery. I also had glass horse shoes! Whoa Cinderrela much? Hehe.

"Oh! You are realy the most beautiful one of all! You are sooo 20 percent hotter" Surprise sais jumping up and down.

"Uhhh thanks?" I said with a light chuckle. "Wow if this is our expression when we saw ya, wonder how Soarin will react when he sees his precious princess" Spitfire said and they all bursted out laughing. "ENOUGH CHIT CHAT! NOW LETS GO TO THE FALL FORMAL AND MAKE THIS....THE BEST. NIGHT. EVER!" Surprise squeeled and gathered her skirt from her sparkly, and steriotypicaly girly gown.

She flew out of the room and we snickered following her.

"Oh wait Rainbow I got an idea, follow me" Spitfire said to me and dragged me with her somewhere.

Narrarator's POV

Soarin and his friends were on a corner talking and laughing. They weren't realy the types who were into formal things si they didn't bothered to dress for the occasion.

However, they instantly regretted it when the doors or the gym bursted open, and the the girls came in looking so beautiful.

Soarin scanned them and looked for Rainbowdash, but didn't see her. Wave chill also noticed that Spitfire was also missing.

Rapidfire was drooling at the sight if Fleetfoot. "Wow, Fleet looks so....beautiful" He said in awe.

But the show wasn't over yet.

Soarin was still scanning the crowd for Rainbowdash, when, another door opened, it was the one up the stairs. And whe he saw Rainbow decending down the stairs....he couldn't help but stare at her.

"G-golly, is that... RAINBOWDASH?!" He and the guys exclaimed.
