Rainbow's POV

"Where have you been to all day?" Mistyfly asked as we piled up for dinner.

"Whadda ya mean?" I asked acting all innocent. "Dash we hadn't seen you at class, you weren't in your room and you missed band practice for the fall formal mext month" Surprise said sitting down at our table.

"I uh, Have a very good reason for that" I said, I can't believe I forgot about the fall formal! Oh well, atleast I inly missed one band practice.

"Dash, are you hidding something from us?" Spitfire asked suspiciously. "N-no, I'm not! Why would I hide anything from you all?" I faked a laugh which ony made them glare at me more. I sighed. "Look guys, its not that I'm hidding something from you that you should be concerned about. I'm just....I'm just so confused these days about....somepony, and I'm sorry if this feeling is causing some tension on our friendship" I said and they softenned up.

"Gosh sorry Dash, we didn't mean to makw you feel bad, just know that you can trust us ok?" Starlight said and the others agreed.

"Speaking of which, who is the pony you've been all confused about?" Fleetfoot suddenly smirked. My heart raced and my pupils shrank. "I uhhh, The things is...Ummm" I tried to get the words out and they all looked at me in earnest, waiting for me to say something.

"Listen, what I am about to tell you later is....sappy. And I want you alk to promise me you won't tell this to anypony! And please don't scream, squeel, giggle, and all those loud stuffa ok?" 

They were hesitant at first, but later on agreed and made the pinkie promise. I learned that from Pinkie pie, and turns out, she was right. Whenever I tried to break the pinkie promise, bad luck comes to me.

"Cross our hearts and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in our eyes" they said and did hoof gestures.

I smiled, and then looked at the guys's table. Soarin was talking to the boys and looked realy serious. I looked back at my friends. "Follow me and keep low" I whispered and stood up. They were a little confused at first but followed me and did what I told them.

I took them to the room of wonders. Obviously, because I'm gonna have to show it to them sooner or later, but....I was um, hoping to show Soarin first though.

They were amazed when a door appeared from the wall, and was awestruck when they entered.

"So this is where you've been spwnding most of your time lately?" Spitfire asked admirring the place.

"Yup, sorry if I didn't tell you sooner, I only come here to cool off when I'm mad or sad, and sometimes comes here to read all the books. Call me an egghead but its pretty interesting" I said. Even though I know they wouldn't dare call me an eggehead, and besides, the real egghead is Starlight.

I snickered and watched her run bookshelf after book shelf, table after table, gawking, drooling, and hugging the books and reading them closely to her face.

"Soooo anyways, the real reason I brought you all here was, because so nopony will hear us when I tell you.....this aweful, awesome, sappy feeling I've been feeling around somepony this past few months.

This cought their attention and looked at me. "Fire away Dashie!" Starlight said smilling warmly and placing a book about flowers down.

We sat down on the couch and on the stool. I sighed, "Guys um...you know my past about, love right" I began and they all nodded. "Well.....I think I'm starting to break my promise to myself because....I think I'm falling....inlove" I said. They all gasped and was about to squeel or scream or something but remembering the pinoie promise they all stopped.

"Spitfire, you told me to follow my heart right?"

"Yea!"Spitfire cheered. "Well....I'm doing it now, but...Soarin likes someponyelse"I said sadly. "Say what? Its Soarin that you like? Wait no not like....ITS LOVE!" 

"You gotta tell him!" Starlight urged.

"He might like you back!"

"Soarindash on the way!" They assured me but I shook my head. "Guys didn't you listenned? He likes somepony else! Some mare who's name is, Uhhh Rainny crash or something" I said frowning. They all blinked and looked at me in confusion. "Uhhh Rainbowdash? Let me get this straight, Soarin told you, thaat he likes a mare who's name is Rainny crash?" Spitfire asked.

"YES! And he even described her!" I said and told him what Soar tild me about this mare. Spitfire and the rest looked at each other with amused looks. And then bursted out laughing. "WHAT'S SO FUNNY?!" I demanded.

"Ahahahaha! You are so funny Dash, Have you even considered the possibility that that mare was you? And there is a chance Soarin just pretended to like some other mare when It was clear as water that he likes you!" Fleetfoot said.

I frowned, and, they have a point.

"B-but, what if he doesn't like me anymore?! What if another girl comes around and confess her feelings to him before I even gets a chance to tell him my own feelings?! WHAT IF I DO SOMETHING REALY REALY DUMB?! I AM HAVING A PANICK ATTACK!" I shouted.

"Whoa whoa! Chill girl, you'll never know unless you try" Spitfire said.

"And if you don't wanna tell him yet, there is always the fall formal! You can tell hin there! And its next month, you gonna ask hin to dance with ya?" Fleetfoot smirked.

I gulped and blushed.

"Well....your right, for now I'll keep this crush a secret and...tell him when the time is right, and that time, is at the fall formal" I said. They all cheered for me and soon after a few hours of hanging out we left.

Well actualy, Fleetfoot held me back. "Dash...I need to tell you something. Since you have a few problems with your crush, maybe I should tell you mine" She said and I smiled.

"About time! Is this about Rapidfire?"

She blinked at me. "How did you know I like Rapid?"

"Um its pretty obvious realy. You should tell him!" I said. But she shook her head. "But, what if he doesn't like me? What if se won't be a happy cauple? I am so nervous Dashie!" She said. "If only there was a way for me to see my future with him, if thsre realy is one"

That gaved me an idea. "I'll show you something" I said and showed her the book if wonders. I flipped through the pages until I finnaly saw what I am looking for. Its the spell I once used to see my future with Soarin at the fall formal.

"Aks what you wanna see" I instructed Fleetfoot. "Um, ok? Show me my future with Rapidfire, at the fall formal" She said and a vision appeared.

It was her and Rapidfire! But....they looked like they were fighting.

"Just, shut up! And you can forget about that date!"Fleetfoot snapped and stormed off. Rapidfire held back his tears. "I'm sorry Fleetfoot"

I was schocked. I looked at Fleetfoot, she was shocked too, and tears were coming out. Without another word she left the room of wonders. I was gonna go after her but a vision showed up again, and its me and Soarin.

But, I looked so misreble. We were at the fall formal too.

"Tell me the truth, Soar is the dars true?! Is Lightning Dust saying the truth this time?!" I demanded. Soarin looked so dissapointed  and afraid.

"Dashie" he began

"Answer me!"  But before he could say anything, or before I can find out what that future means, and whatever the dare was, I slammed the book shut.

Guess Fleetfoot won't be the only one with drama at the fall formal........
