As they were heading to the castle, Jaylen who was captured by the Pals, managed to escape from them, but he was still alone in the Dark Lands as he wandered the area.

Jaylen:... *Walking around to find a way out* There has to be some sort of sign or something... I just hope John and the others are okay.

After a bit of walking, he would hear rustling in the dead bushes, causing him to look in that direction and he would also catch a glimpse of glowing green eyes before suddenly being met with a Dry Bones, whose eyes instantly turn red and charge at Jaylen.

Jaylen:AHHHH!! *Runs away*

Dry Bones:*Runs after him*

As he ran, many more Dry Bones would rise from the ground and make their way towards Jaylen and he would run away, making them chase after him and before he knew it an entire horde of them would be on his tail. But, he would find a seemingly abandoned tower and rush inside, shutting and locking the doors behind him.

Jaylen:Phew...

Lightning would strike, revealing that Jackals with SMG3's insignia on them were behind him and then he would scream when he turns and notices them. Back with John and the others, they would make it to Toad Town.

SMG4:This way, guys. The Princess and the Queen live up on that hill!

John, Devon and Jerome:*Follow SMG4 and the others*

Tari:Excuse us, everyone!

Luigi:Excuse us, pardon me. Big adventure happening right now, clear a path, thank you!

John:*Picks up a dropped coin and hands it to the red Toad before catching up*

Mario:Excuse Mario, these guys' brother is going to fucking die!

John, Devon and Jerome:*Look over at Mario*

Devon:No, he ain't!

SMG4:Just clearing a path, th-that's all he's doing. Your brother will be fine.

They continue to make their way to the castle, John, Devon and Jerome trying to get the hang of maneuvering around the Mushroom Kingdom.

SMG4:Okay, we're almost there.

Jerome:Whoa...

Meggy:It's the only way to fly, man. *Goes through the pipe after Tari as everyone else entered*

John:Whoa, these pipes are--*Gets sucked in as Devon and Jerome get pulled in* AHHHHHHH!!

After emerging from the clear pipe, they would emerge from other pipes and after...some getting used to them, they would finally reach the top of the hill.

John:Ugh... Finally...

Fishy:Here we are! Palace doors!

SMG4:Come on!

John, Devon and Jerome:*Run to catch up*

Inside the castle, there is an urgent meeting being held inside about SMG3's search for the Super Star and his course for the Mushroom Kingdom.

Chancellor:Council, your attention. SMG3 has found the super star and is headed for our kingdom. Its power will make him invincible. And it pains me to say...that we will be destroyed.

Toads:*Collected gasps*

Council Toad:Your highnesses, what are we gonna do?

Queen Margaret:We will not let him hurt you.

Princess Cas:*Stands from her throne and walks down the steps* We are going to stop SMG3.

Council Toad:How? Look at us!

Princess Cas:I will convince the Mobians to help us. Together, we'll annihilate that monster!

Chancellor:Princess, their king doesn't make alliances. The Mobians will never agree!

Princess Cas:I can convince him. I'll leave for the Mobian Kingdom in the morning.

Queen Margaret:Good luck, my dear girl. For all our sakes...

As she left the room, she would look over and notice John running over.

John:Princess!

Princess Cas:*Instinctively flips him*

John:Oof!

Princess Cas:I-I'm so sorry, it's an instinct!

John:It's fine, I--

Guards:*Tackle him as others bring Devon and Jerome over*

Princess Cas:Wait! Release them.

Guards:*Let them go*

Princess Cas:Where did you come from?

John:Us and our little brother, Jaylen skipped town at Greenwood Grove to help Devon when we were chased down by these Pal soldiers with this skull symbol branding and then we met SMG4 and the others and now he's lost in the Dark Lands somewhere.

Princess Cas:Then it's only a matter of time before he's captured by SMG3. Well, you're in luck. I'm on my way to stop him.

Jerome:Well, takes us with ya!

Princess Cas:This guy's a lunatic. A psycho. He would eat you for breakfast.

Devon:I don't give a shit. You're gonna help us find our brother. 

Princess Cas:*Glaring at Devon*

John:...Please?

Princess Cas:Okay. Let's see what you three are made of.

Jerome:So, is that a yes or..?

Princess Cas:No. Just a let's see what you're made of.

They would go to the balcony and with a flip of a switch, it separates from the castle and flies to a certain spot over the water. Eventually, a large obstacle course flies out of the water, showing fake piranha plants and cannons firing fake bullet bills and a cardboard cutout of SMG3.

John, Devon and Jerome:Whoa...

Princess Cas:If you can finish this, you can come along with me. Watch what I do, boys.

Princess Cas would run through the course, avoiding the obstacles with ease and destroying the SMG3 cutout before avoiding the last few obstacles and reaching the flagpole.

John:...That was amazing. How can we do all that?

Princess Cas:With this. *Hits the item block*

John, Devon and Jerome:*Catch three mushrooms*

John:Eugh. Really???

Princess Cas:Go on. Eat it.

John:Ugh... *Goes to eat it* Did it have to be a mushroom? Because I just...hate mushrooms.

Princess Cas: T_T

Devon and Jerome:Nigga.

John:Okay, okay. *Goes to eat it again* Are you sure you don't--

Princess Cas:*Shoves the mushroom in his mouth and down his throat* Down the hatch, there you go!

John:Bleh! Not cool!

John would notice his hands glowing before suddenly they grow larger along with his feet and eventually he would be taller as well.

John:Whoa! I'm tall! And strong!

Devon:Holy shit!

Jerome:Well, damn.

Princess Cas:And you can jump, too.

John:Oh, I got this. No problem. *Runs to the obstacle course and jumps* Woohoo! *Starts to fall* AHHHHHHHH!!

He would fall through the brick blocks and eventually in the water before shrinking back to his normal height and a pipe sucks him in and brings him back to the balcony.

Princess Cas:Oh, yeah. If you get hurt, you lose the power-up.

John:Great~... Ulgh... *Eats another mushroom before gagging*

Devon and Jerome:*Eat their mushrooms and grow taller*

Princess Cas:Come on, you three, let's see what you can do.

The three brothers would make attempt after attempt to get through the obstacle course, failing in the process, but Devon and Jerome can pass through after a few tries...but John was having trouble with completing the obstacle course, eventually even vomiting back up another mushroom and Devon, Jerome and Princess Cas falling asleep.

John:*Eats another mushroom and exhales before running into the obstacle course*

He begins to run through the obstacle course, this time actually reaching the halfway point and Devon would wake up, seeing this and wakes up Jerome and Princess Cas and they all watched in awe as they see John going through with ease, even destroying the SMG3 cutout.

Devon:YEAH, BRO!!

Jerome:COME ON, YOU GOT THIS, MY DUDE!!!

Princess Cas:*Smiles with a slight blush*

John:*Jumps to the goal and looks at her with a smile and a raised eyebrow*

He would get close to the flagpole...only for a fake piranha plant to bite down on him and stop him from reaching it and shrinking him back down.

John:*Muffled* DAMN IT!

After getting him out of the obstacle, they all sat together looking out at the sunrise.

Princess Cas:You guys did great. So, you're coming with me.

Devon:He didn't finish the course.

John:Yeah.

Princess Cas:You almost did! And besides, not everyone can master a new thing in one go.

John:How many tries did it take you?

Princess Cas:So many. I was NOT good at it. Worse than you. *Smiles*

John:...You got it right away, didn't you?

Princess Cas:I got it right away, but I was born here.

Jerome:Now this just turned into a pity party.

John:Yeah, sounds like you're just trying to make me feel better.

Princess Cas:Whaaaat? No. ...Is it working?

John:A little bit. Yeah.

Meanwhile with SMG3 in his flying fortress, there was a big party going on inside with all the Pals and other minions cheering, dancing and just having a good time with rock music blaring.

SMG3:*Stands from his throne* My army! After months of searching for the super star, it's finally ours!

Pals:*Cheer*

SMG3:I AM THE MOST POWERFUL VILLAIN IN THE WORLD!

Pals:*Cheer*

SMG3:Soon we will arrive at the Mushroom Kingdom where I will force their princess to marry me so that I can have full reign over the kingdom! And if she refuses... I WILL POWER UP WITH THIS STAR AND DESTROY THE MUSHROOM KINGDOM!!!

Pals:*Cheer loudly*

SMG3:So prepare yourselves for a new world order! IT'S GONNA BE BADASS!!!
