Those words that are rarely used in books or other parts of life, but they still exist, some sound cool too.

quintessence- the purest and highest essence of something

toboggan- a very long, flat-bottomed sled used to glide on snow

flax- a slender plant with blue flowers whose stalks are used to make thread

flagrant- plainly wicked, unashamed

clemency- mildness, leniency, mercy

heifer- a young cow

quixotic- romantically idealistic

rectitude- uprightness, moral virtue

zany- crazy, whimsically comical

xenophobia- phobia of foreigners or strangers

pulchritude- beauty, loveliness, charm

malapropism- comic misuse of a word

(A/N) you might wonder as to why random words make my day better. Well I like learning words like these so I can remember them and then use them and have the person who heard/read them go 'what in the world does this word mean' and have to go look up what the word means. Plus some of the words are really strange and I like strange things. I didn't know any of these words before this chapter, I flipped through a dictionary to find them. The funny thing is that my tablet didn't know some of the words, words I pulled from an actual dictionary. So my updating schedule is about to not become a schedule. My family is doing a lot of travelling this summer, meaning I'll be stuck in a car without internet for a long time. How long, I don't know. I'll update when I can, but no promises.
