When rain softly falls in a peaceful and calm way that really is just zen-like. You could probably fall asleep to the sound.

Dark clouds dot the light blue sky, as you walk home from school. I hope that it doesn't start thunderstorming. You walk quicker not wanting to get caught in the possible thunderstorm. It starts to sprinkle, and you enjoy the feel of rain on your face, it was refreshing. You get home and it starts raining harder, but not in a scary way. You smile at the fact that you got home just in time.
You turn on the tv and check the news. It tells you that there should only be light showers, no lightning. You smile and go outside to sit on the porch. You pull out your homework and start to finish it. The rain falls lightly, creating a peaceful environment. You smile again, and sit there for a moment just listening to the sound.
You have the urge to go out and play in the rain, but you decide not to, you had to go make dinner. You sit on the porch for a minute longer, just enjoying the moment. Then you get up and go inside, satisfied for the night.

(A/N) my first chapter was actually on rain, but for some reason it wouldn't show for the readers even though it told me that it was published.
