It's over.
It's been over for a while now.
But until now,
I haven't realized how over it was.

My last year in middle school.
My last year with my middle school family,
Who are in my heart
More than they think they are.
I never got a chance to say bye,
Under these unappreciated circumstances.

I may actually never be able to see them again.
Things will be different next year.
They will be different next year.
Will they even remember me next year,
Under these unappreciated circumstances?

I was making new friends
Out of a family I've had since 6th.
A boy who got harassed a lot,
a girl who was in my kindergarten class,
And a set of twins that I don't think hate me now,
Who I might not be able to talk to all summer
Under these unappreciated circumstances.

Not only is it over,
But I'm over.
Haven't seen a face other than my households',
Under these unappreciated circumstances.

And
The thing is.
Everyone's over.
This is widespread.

I'm not the only one
Crying about what should've been.
If it wasn't for
These unappreciated circumstances.
