I'm starting to think
That they don't even bother.
That they see it and go "not today"
And don't even bother.

It's not like it's really that important,
But it's hurting my head.
Because I work so darn hard!
And nothing's even said.

I know I'm not the best.
I know I'm not as good as them.
I know I beg for attention.
Hmm I wonder why that is?

I just expected a reaction,
I guess.

A "oh wow good job"
Or maybe even just a "nice."

But no.

I'm just saying,
I understand that my skills
Are a little lacking,
But I go through about the same amount of effort
As you do
To improve.

Can you at least look next time?
