It was still early and Saturday mornings at the shop will always be quiet. It takes quite a long time for business to start running and to have chatter fill the space and laughter bouncing off the walls.

But Junmyeon was already there, setting things up at snail's pace. He took a minute to wipe the mug he used the moment he came in. As he went about his tasks, he couldn't help but glance at the door every so often.

He let out a sigh as he leaned against a table as the rain started to pour.

"You've been quiet the whole day," Hikari said as the two of them walked along the river.

"If there's anything you need to get off your mind, you know I'm always here," she stopped and held onto Junmyeon's hand.

Junmyeon turned and looked into Hikari's eyes. He smiled.

"You always make the simplest of things sound so comforting," he said as he gently patted her head.

"It's about us, right? I know that look in your eyes," Hikari tightened her grip on his hand.

"I've just been doing a lot of thinking lately and taking everything into account, I just feel scared that it won't be enough," Junmyeon said with a heavy heart, his eyes slowly turning sad.

"I know you'll say it's fine, it would be okay. You'll be fine. We'll be okay..."

"I'll be okay..." Junmyeon's eyes started to pool.

"But I just wanted to be the best so everything will be better. Each tomorrow better than today..." Junmyeon said with a crack in his voice.

Hikari bit her lower lip and released Junmyeon's hand. With the most strength she could exert, she hugged him.

"That's already what we're doing," Hikari said, trying her best to not sob.

"We're here together and we're taking things at our pace and it's genuinely the best I could have ever asked for..."

"I'm happy as it is and I'm happy with all that we have that we call ours. And I want you to know that this is us."

Hikari pulled back a little, her face right in front of his, her eyes locked with his, "These small pieces of happiness, our small pieces of happiness."

Junmyeon sniffed and gave Hikari a smile. 

He kissed her on her forehead and hugged her.

"Thank you for sticking with me throughout everything, my love."
