Ari was just trying to have a normal day. By normal, they mean "destroy the hearts and souls of various people, all while laughing and grinding their emotions into the dirt."

Which was exactly what they were trying to do when they were writing an update for their book. Now, normally updates can be off with Ari as they don't have a schedule or anything even related. They were fairly sure Puzzle had sold it on EBay somewhere. The damn bastard. Freaking sold everything.

Just as Ari had gotten to the main part of their chapter, the perfect mixture between soul crushing and evil, a wild pest appeared.

Yes, this was actually quite a regular occurrence. Lilly was their first and favourite apprentice, but she was also one who sought power and to be the best. Considering that Ari was her teacher/master didn't help matters. Due to Lilly's desires to become the very best, she was quite determined to kill Ari and take their spot, making her no.1.

So whenever Ari had seemingly let their guard down, Lilly struck. What better chance than when Ari was absorbed into their phone?

Ari had long since sensed Lilly's attack, even before the demon girl had neared themm. So when Lilly's body came flying at her, a well aimed kick aimed for their skull, Ari merely jerked back, easily avoiding her attack.

Lilly's eyes widened as she realised that Ari had easily avoided her attack and her eyes narrowed in anger before she crashed to the ground, almost breaking her own leg in the process. She tumbled on the floor, rolling a little before eventually colliding face first to the wall. Puzzle snorted as he walked past.

"Here we go again," he mumbled, casually drinking a can of soda. Lilly glared at him as she pulled herself up. No distractions.

Running once more, Lilly yanked her scythe from behind her back, immediately swiping it at Ari to cut her off head off. Ari ducked under the swipe but Lilly kept on slashing her scythe at her, trying to use her speed to her advantage.

Unfortunately for her, none of her attempts of murder worked. With her last swipe, Lilly decided to just a wing it, allowing her body to move naturally. To her surprise - and probably future death - she knocked Ari's phone from her hand. Both Lilly and Ari froze as they stared at the phone that skidded across the floor.

It was at this moment that Lilly knew. She fucked up.

Blinking, Lilly finally registered the pain in her side before she went crashing into the wall, her scythe snatched from her before she hit the wall. Lilly blinked, disorientiated and pulled herself up. Ari glared down at her, eyes blazing. Puzzle snorted as he stared at the two.

"You're grounded and I'm taking your scythe away for a week," Ari stated before Lilly could fully get a hold of herself. She rubbed her head.

"Wha-! Wait, you can't do that!" Lilly cried.

"I just did," Ari hissed, turning around to pick up their phone. Once they did, they turned around to glare at Lilly once more. "Any objections?" The dangerous look in Ari's eyes had Lilly shut the fuck up immediately.

"No objections here," Lilly replied. Ari huffed, going back on their phone, Lilly's scythe in her other hand as she headed back to her earlier spot.

"Great, now I don't wanna write anymore..." Ari huffed.

I finally got this done. It shouldn't have taken so long but it did. This is (a bit old now considering how long it took me to do this xD) joke me and Ari had and now it's come to liiifee.
