3rd person POV:

Lycan, upon seeing Adam fighting cops, rushed even faster towards him.

Lycan: ADAM!!

Adam:?

Charging past the police and knocking away any White Fang in his way, Lycan threw a punch at the masked leader.

He was fast enough to raise his blade, catching Lycan's claws, and absorbing the impact of the blade.

Adam: Ugh, Lycan, what are you doing here?

Lycan: I'm here to kick your ass!

Adam:(sigh)... Why do you insist, protecting these scums?

Lycan: The only scum here is you!

Retracting his arm back as Adam pushed his blade forward, Lycan swung his other arm, making the White Fang leader swayed back.

Simin: Lycan! Switch out with the girls, and take out the grunts!

Lycan: Eh? But- agh, fine!

Vella hopped onto Lycan's shoulder to use as a step to leap higher into the air.

With a corkscrew flip, she rained down bullets by using her semblance on her bow to make it rapid-fire.

Adam deflected most of the shots, but with his attention in the air, he failed to see Ragora's familiar ram into him.

Getting knocked back, into a wall.

Above him, Vella landed on a window sill.

Vella: Hm?

Inside, she saw Brandon rush past.

Vella: Hey! The fedora guy is inside!

Simin: Hm?

Kicking away one of the White Fang, Simin's attention went onto the lab.

Simin:(mind) What does he want inside there?

Simin: Lycan, keep your cool, and put pressure on Adam. Don't give him a chance to block or attack!

Simin: Girls, back him up, I'll take care of mister Fedora!

Ragora: Alone?

Simin: This is all probably just a distraction so he could steal something. I'll be fine.

Simin: You all be careful!

Rushing into the lab, Simin searches for Brandon, who he easily found in a large open room meant for the testing of inventions.

Brandon was fiddling with a machine.

Taking notice of the open truck gate, Simin deduced this machine was something Brandon brought with him.

Simin: You know the drill.

Brandon: Oh, why hello there, Simin, so nice of you to drop by.

Without stopping his work, Brandon continued talking.

Brandon: Care to help me? I'm sure you could fix this in no time.

Simin: No thanks.

He got in closer.

(Boop)

Brandon: A shame... But I'm done anyway.

Simin: I'm taking you in.

Brandon spun around and three a kick which Simin matched.

Like two blades, their legs crossed.

Brandon: Do you remember who I am?

Simin: Nope.

Brandon:... You know... You're starting to piss me off.

Simin: You know... I don't care.

(Sizzle)

Simin:!?

Retracting his leg, Simin glanced at it to find it had been scorched by Brandon's leg.

Brandon:(smugly) Too hot for you?

Simin: No, I just prefer my pants not toasted.

Pulling out a sword that glowed with heat on the edge, Brandon prepared to battle.

Simin: At least tell me your name, because otherwise, I'm going to have to give you nicknames.

Brandon: Brandon.

Simin: Of course it would be so generic...

Creating a flaming greatsword, Simin attacked first.

(Clang)

Simin:?!

His attack was stopped by a larger, black crossed-tipped greatsword.

Turning, Simin found the machine Brandon worked had awoken to protect him.

It was tall, humanoid, with black and gray armor, glowing red slits for eyes, along with two greatswords.

(Grimm Knight)

Simin: What the?!

Brandon: "Grimm Knight, an autonomous humanoid android, made to hunt down large Grimm."

Brandon: Or was at least... Until I made my modification. Hey, it's still better than what Atlas is doing with their androids.

Simin: You actually made this crap? How did you even get those blueprints?

Brandon: Tsk, tsk... You were seriously in your own little world back then... No wonder you acted like a god.

Simin and the Grimm Knight clashed until the leader of SLVR was kicked across the room by the machine.

Simin:(grunts)

Simin:(mind) Never thought I'd be on the other end of that...

The Grimm Knights' eyes glowed red.

Simin: Right... It can do that too...

Throwing his greatsword at Grimm Knight who fired a heat ray from its face, an explosion went off, which quickly made the lab catch on fire.

(BOOOOOM)

With a wall of fire as well as the Grimm Knight in between Simin and Brandon, the two glared at each other.

Brandon: Tell Adam he did his part wonderfully. Until next time.

Tipping his fedora, Brandon leaves with Grimm Knight following after.

Simin quickly tried putting out the fire to give chase.

Throwing flame daggers at the sprinkler system, he forced them to go off.

Getting an extinguisher, Simin helped put out the flames, but by the time he was finished, Brandon was gone.

Simin:...... Who the hell is Brandon!?

Simin: Man... Hm?

In the area where Brandon worked on Grimm Knight, he discovered a device.

With his knowledge, he deduced it to be a piece of Grimm Knight which Brandon replaced.

(Outside)

Juggling the grunts and Adam was difficult since he led them so well that they showed they had a chance of winning.

But Lycan, Vella, and Ragora showed proved their place in the second-best first-year team with how well they pushed Adam.

Their power and skill were on a higher level than the usual huntsmen in training.

But even though they had the support of the police, this battle still could go either way.

(BOOOM)

Hearing an explosion go off inside the building, everyone became so distracted that Adam had a chance to escape.

Being outnumbered, Adam took this opportunity and escaped into the sewers.

His allies weren't so lucky.

Lycan tried to give chase, but opening the manhole cover, Adam entered from by stabbing it and lifting it.

The Faunus found a stream of boiling hot steam coming his way.

Adam had cut open a pipe and bent it to face the cover to block any followers.

Lycan: DAMN IT!

Simin exited the building to find that Adam escaped.

Simin: You too?

Ragora: This was a waste...

Simin: No. I did learn the fedora guy's name.

Vella: What is it?

Simin: Brandon.

Vella: Let's go get some ice cream to cheer us up!
