Eli POV

Its been a few days since the final match in the tournament, during those days Dr. Blakk has been spreading the ghouls while most slingers join his forces in ranks. To make matters worse, most of the stores take slugs instead of gold to send the slugs to Dr. Blakk to make more ghouls, even though its hard to say no when it comes to Dr. Blakk.

   The gang and I manage to free the slugs but it wasn't enough. All we can do now it get and train slugs if we're ever gonna fight against Dr. Blakk forces from destroying Slugterra. Right now we're walking to the cavern to where the Frostcrawlers slugs are.

Stomp!

Eli: (Whispers.) Careful Kord, we're right on top of them!

Kord: Uh, right, sorry.

Kord: You sure this is the right place, YN? There's nothing but empty around here.

YN: Positive, this is where I got Chill a long time ago.

Eli: Maybe we just need to take a closer look.

I look underneath us and see a lot of frostcrawlers underneath us.

Trixie: Frostcrawlers. Remember Eli, they can be fierce. Of course, they look a lot fiercer when they hit 100 miles per hour.

Pronto: Not to interrupt, but uh please let me know when it is a good time to point out that it was I, Pronto, who led us here.

Kord: How bout after we catch one? (Pulls out a fishhook.)

Trixie: I'll get the snares.

YN: I'll get some slug snacks for them.

Pronto: I have the gloves.

Eli: How about we just try taking to one if them?

The four of them look at me confused, but I ignore them as I go talk with the Frostcrawlers.

Eli: Hey there.

I caught one if them attention as he takes a peek.

Eli: I'm looking for some powerful slugs to join my team. (Smiles.) Like you.

Just then a frostcrawler comes on top as u offer him a hand to join our team until Pronto interrupted us.

Pronto: Haha! Pronto has it now!

YN: Wait, Pronto, before you activate it, you need to-

It was too late as he activate the device which caused a soundwave as it hurts the Frostcrawlers. I quickly grab it and deactivate it before it could get worse.

Eli: Pronto no!

Pronto: Hey!

Just then we notice the rest of the frostcrawlers begin to fall.

YN & Trixie: Uh oh.

Pronto: Uh, I'm sure they will be fine.

YN: They can, but not this cavern.

Trixie: All those slugs transforming together could cause the chain reaction.

The whole cavern's temperature begins to drop down.

Kord: Uh guys, its getting pretty frosty in here.

Before we could say anything else, spike of ice begins to emerg from underneath us.

Eli: Run for it!

We begin running as more if the ice spikes emerge fast enough to catch us up.

Pronto: We're not going to make it!

Soon we see the our mechas ahead.

Eli: (Smirk.) Yes we are!

I quickly hop on my mecha as the rest did the same.

YN: Head to the exit, quick!

We drive straight towards the exit but it then got sealed by the ice, but I quickly got an idea.

Eli: Only get one shot, make it count Burpy!

I shoot burpy straight to the ice, but suddenly my blaster just exploded. But it was worth it as Burpy made an exit for us and we got out if there in a nick of time before the cavern became frozen.

Eli: That was awesome!

Pronto: I beg to differ.

Trixie: Oh come on, that was amazing!

YN: I'm just glad we got our of there on time.

Trixie: Just too bad about the slugs though.

Just then we hear a slug chirping and I found the frostcrawler on my mecha beast tail.

Eli: (Smiles.) Check it out, he came back. Guess things always work out for the best-

Suddenly my blaster cause a shock and I notice its destroyed.

Kord: Bro, I've been telling you. Your slugs have gotten too powerful for a blaster like that. It was just a matter of time before.

Kord show us the rest by acting like he was wounded by the exploded blaster.

Pronto: Very realistic.

Kord: (Smiles.) Thanks, yeah, I'll be here all week.

Eli: How long will it take you to fix it?

I hand him my broken blaster before he examine it.

Kord: I'd say about....forever.

Eli: Oh.

YN: On a bright side, I'd say it was worth it from your last blast. We might've freezes to death back there.

Eli: True.

Kord: I'm pretty good about amping things up, but this needs an expert. Only one blaster smith I know of could fix that.

YN: Oh please no, anybody but him.

Kord: Come on, YN, you know he's the only expert with best blasters.

Eli: You know someone who can fix it?

Trixie: Red Hook.

Eli: That name sounds familiar.

Trixie: It should, all the best slinger use to use him, including your dad and YN's dad.

Pronto: His skills is legendary yes. As is his foul temper.

Eli: (Chuckles.) I'm not looking for a new best friend, I just want my blaster fixed.

YN: (Sigh.) All right, only question is, will he?

Eli: Only one way to find out, lead the way Pronto.

Pronto: (Smiles.) Follow me.

We all follow Pronto and I curiously ask YN about Red Hook.

Eli: Hey, so Red Hook sounds like he's not a friendly type, why's that?

YN: Oh he's a friendly old man alright, just as long as you're in the right page as he is.

Eli: So what did you do that made him to get mad?

YN: (Sigh.) I had to abandoned some important packages of his to help someone. Before I knew it, turns out I was fooled and end up loosing his trust.

Eli: Let me guess, it was Dr. Blakk?

YN: No, someone I use to thought of as a trusted friend.

Eli: Oh.

3rd POV

After their long travel to the next cavern, they arrive to a town called Quiet Lawn which seems to be very quiet as if its a ghost town.

Eli: I thought you guys said this place was nice.

Trixie: Well, it use to be.

YN: Something's not right here. Look.

They see that the towns people are hiding in their homes from the gangs appearance.

Kord: I guess the people here are kind of shy.

Pronto: Pronto knows what to do. Ahem, (Shouting.) hello? Yohoo, this is Pronto.-

Few of the town shush him to stay quiet.

Trixie: I guess they like quiet too.

Just then a person quietly explained the situation of why they're very quiet by revealing the colony of Grenuke slugs are above the town and sleeping.

If the slugs ever drop, then the whole town would be destroyed. However, the town doesn't mind living underneath those slugs, the real problem are the gang known as the Hoola Gang. Suddenly they see the gang on their mecha beast, trashing the town which is the Hoola Gang as they're passing by the Shane gang.

YN: Guess we know why they're really quiet.

Eli: Come on guys.

YN: Uh, all do respect Eli, if you're thinking about fighting them, you can't do anything with a broken blaster.

Kord: He's got a good point.

Eli: Well, we can't just sit here and let them trash the town.

YN: (Smirk.) Leave it to me. Just go to Red Hook for your blaster fixed.

Eli nods as they left to meet Red Hook while YN deals with the Hoola Gang.

YN POV

There's only two ways to kick the guys like the Hoola Gang. Using reasonable pep talk or slug slinging until they run away crying. Either way, people like them ain't welcome here. Right now, I see them spray painting the wall until I call them.

YN: Hey pal!

The gang turn around and the blond one speaks.

Billy: What are you looking at?

YN: Your art work, I've seen better ones that even them floppers can make than that.

One of them got upset but Billy cools them before he speaks.

Billy: You might want to work on your manners. Especially when you talk to the guys running this no good town.

YN: If this town ain't a good town then you should probably get lost before I make you.

Billy: (Realize.) I know you, you're that outlaw kid. You better get lost, we're the Hoola Gang, official employees of Blakk industries. Which means you got a problem with us, you're gonna have a big problem with Dr. Blakk.

YN: That's funny, sounds like your boss didn't told you guys about the mess my friends and I made in his home.

Billy: (Scoff.) Without your team, I bet you're not so tough.

Right when he finished, I quickly draw my blaster and blasted Allen to destroy the Hoola Gang spray paint.

YN: Care to test that out pal?

Billy: Ha! Good luck with that, its 3 against 1.

The three of them pointed their blasters at me.

YN: I like the odds. But how bout let's keep things civil here pal, how bout we make this easy for you guys.

Billy: Like I care-

YN: One on one duel. I win, you leave this place for good. You win, you leave but you can take my slugs.

They became surprise after what I said.

Billy: All of your slugs?

YN: What? Ain't Blakk want slug? I ain't got no doubt that you boss would by satisfied if you brought him some rare slugs. Who knows, maybe he might pay y'all a better fortune.

The gang were looking at each other and soon they nod. No doubt they're taking the bait. Guess talking through some people helps a lot.

Billy: All right, Outlaw, challenge accepted. You're gonna wish you never made that challenge.

He chuckles as they head to the main street while I get my slugs ready.

YN: Don't worry guys, we can take them on. Who's with me?

My slugs all nods as Heavy and Wrecker headbutt each other like they're ready for a fight.

Time skip

So far I did a lot of challenging against Billy and won, shootin most bottles, who's the fastest sharp shooter, and shooting object in mid air. 

Billy: This is it! Winner take all.

YN: Buddy, I'd give it a rest if I were you.

Billy: This cavern is full of Grenuker slugs, whoever knocks the most down win.

Stranger: NO! (People shushing him and he whispers.) No!

YN: You better leave those slugs alone, pal.

Billy: Who cares? They're just slugs!

Billy shoots his Ramstone at the grenuke slugs but I quickly shoot Bubbles at his slug to prevent it from hitting any of the slugs. After that, I quickly shoot Aqua as it blasted water at Billy. Just when he was about to get up, I aim my blaster with Shocker at him.

YN: Its over, take your pal and don't come back.

3rd POV

YN walks away from them, but out of anger, Billy grabs another slug to fire but all he had was a green slugs.

Billy: You're all I have left!?

Billy throws him to the ground as the slug became sad.

Billy: You're useless! You don't explode, you don't freeze things, you don't do anything but take up space!

YN turns around and notice that Billy's about to kill that slug.

YN: Hey!

Billy turns around and meets a fist in his face as he fell.

YN: This is your last warning, get lost.

Billy: That's it! I've had it with you! Let's duel for real!

Billy grabs a Hop rock slug and load it in his blaster before aiming at YN. Soon the rest of the Hoola Gang join up.

Billy: This means war!

YN: Oh floppers.

YN quickly jumps to cover while the Hoola Gang are shooting slugs at him.

Stranger: Shhh!

YN: (Whispers.) Well you try to deal with them on your own pal!

The Hoola Gang then corner him while they continue shooting slugs at him.

YN: Guess its no more Mr nice guy and time to get this serious. Ready Frost?

Frost nods and He got a tube ready for her as she hops in before he loads his blaster.

YN: Last chance pal, walk away before I make this place chill.

Billy: (Laughs.) In you're dreams!

YN: (Sigh.) Guess that's a no.

YN jumps out of cover and blasted Frost. Once she transformed, she creates a hugs snow ball and fire at them like a cannonball, successfully hit them.

YN: Nice going Frost!

Soon the Shane gang except for Pronto arrive just in time which made YN smirk.

YN: You guys got here on time.

Eli: Nice going. Guess it takes a lot to knock those things down.

YN: Huh, surprisingly they're still asleep even after all those noises.

Billy: Dr Blakk is gonna hear about this. Every one of you just made a huge mistake!

The Hoola gang left the town.

Trixie: They'll probably coming back.

Eli: And they'll find us waiting. This time no one's gonna do this alone.

YN notice the green slug still shy until he picks it up.

YN: Hey, try not to feel down about. I'm sure one day you'll prove him wrong.

The slug smiles before YN speaks.

YN: Hey, Eli, got a room for one more slug?

Eli: A lot more, why?

YN: I got a feeling you'd make a good friend with this guy. Something tells me that this guy's special.

YN hands Eli the slug.

Eli: You sure, I mean you've worked hard to kick the Hoola gang away. You've earned it.

YN: You're my friend Eli, if you're low on slugs, we got your back. Speaking of which, where's Pronto?

Kord: Yeah, let's just say Red Hook got mad thanks to Pronto. Now he's just trying to make things right by convincing Red Hook to fix Eli blaster.

YN: (Sigh.) Great. Least the towns safe for now.

Trixie: Let's help them clean the town up. Its the least we can do.

They all nods as they get starts to fix the town better.

Time skip

It didn't take long for the town to clean up and fix up as they're making progress.

Trixie: Seems like the towns getting back to normal.

Eli: Well, as normal as you can get living under a pile of exploding slugs.

YN: I don't have to worry. The Hoola gang could've made it worst if they didn't leave.

Just then, Kord comes back riding on his mecha beast.

Eli: Where's Pronto?

Kord: At Red Hooks. Still groveling, but no time for that, the Hoola gang are on their way!

YN: Okay, now we can worry.

This made the town panic as they quickly hide back to their homes while Trixie tries to convince them.

Trixie: Come back, this is your town! Why won't they fight?

Eli: Its Quiet lawn cavern remember?

YN: Even if they can, they're not a slinger like us.

Eli: We're gonna help these people stand up for their town.

Kord: Not unless you get your blaster fixed.

Eli: Hopefully, Pronto is soften Red Hook up enough to help out.

YN: Well I ain't gonna wait till even Frost cools his butt. Come on Eli.

Eli nods as they head to where Red Hook lives. Just as they were close, they hear him shouting at Pronto.

Red Hook: How many times do I have to tell you? GET OUT IF MY HOUSE!

YN: How long has this been going?

Eli: Ever since we got to his home.

YN: Okay, I'm not doing this.

YN gets off his mecha beast and bangs the door.

YN: Red, we need to talk! Now!

Red hook: Grrr! How many people are gonna keep bothering me!

The door open revealing Red Hook and he became surprise to see YN.

Red hook: You! I should've known you'd show up. What do you want?

YN: I'll cut to the chase, we need your help and you're the only guy who can be trust enough to help.

Red hook: Hmph, like that one time you threw those packages away?-

YN: I don't care what were inside those packages, my friend needed my help. Look, whatever were inside those boxes, it can be replace. My friends cannot and neither can your town.

Red then realize the whole truth of why he'd risk everything to save his friends.

Eli: Look the Hoola gangs are coming. Red hook, are you gonna fix my blaster or not.

Red hook: No.

Eli: Fine, then I'll face him without it. Come on you guys.

The three of them left until red hook speak up.

Red Hook: You're a Shane, aren't ya?

Eli: That's right. How'd you guess?

Red hook then talks about of how he acts like one like how his dad as he shows him the picture of him and DN. How his dad took down an entire gang on his own with a slingshot though he never knew he had a son.

Eli: Dad wanted me out of the spotlight.

Red hook: And now you've stepped right into the center of it. You two plan on going after Blakk?

Eli: We plan on fighting the bad guys wherever we find them.

YN: Especially when it comes to the ones threatening our home.

Red hook: Well, then you're gonna need this.

Red hook hand the box to Eli as he open it, revealing a new blaster.

Eli: Wow....

Eli picks it up and examine it before red hook speak up.

Red hook: Only made two of these, your old man had the other one.

Eli: I don't know what to say.

Red hook: (Softly smiles.) Say you'll be the man your father was.

Pronto: (Smirk.) We're off to fight these Hoola ganger, Prontog grants you the honor of assisting us in this historic battle.

Red hook: Urgh, I can make 'em. Never was one to shoot 'em.

Eli: You've done enough, all I need is a fighting chance. Come on guys!

They left his home, but Red hook calls YN to get his attention.

Red hook: Hey kid, you know you're just like your old man too, right?

YN: For losing the package?

Red hook: No dummy! Your old man risk a lot of to even save one slug. You're right about the stuff that can replace while your friends cannot. Whether I told you what was the package or not. Speaking of.

Red hook picks up a larger box and hands it to YN.

Red hook: We risked to get this back.

YN: We?

Red hook: Your mother wanted to get it back. But the truth is it wasn't for me, it was for you.

YN opens it and it reveals to be a long shot blaster.

YN: Whoa...

Red hook: Your mother made that by herself. Though I gotta admit it, I was impressed by her skills.

YN: (Chuckles.) Runs in the family I guess. Thanks Red, for everything.

YN joins up with Eli and Pronto before they head out, leaving Red hook with a grin.

Red hook: Go get them, kids.

Time skip

Now that the Shane gang are back together, they're now ready to fight the Hoola gang.

YN: Guess they didn't understand my warning correct.

Eli: Is everyone ready?

Pronto: Pronto was born ready.

Kord: Let's get rid of these clowns once and for all.

Eli: (Smirk.) With this new blaster, it shouldn't be a problem.

Trixie uses her camera to look closely at the gang carries.

Trixie: Um problem, they've got ghouls.

Billy: I'll make this quick and painful!

Eli: Go ahead and try!

Billy: Blast them!

The Hoola gang blast ghoul hop rocks at them as the Shane gang takes cover. Eli blasted Burpy as he got stronger thanks to Eli brand new blaster.

Eli: Try to get them to burn off some slugs.

YN: Uh, that might take a while. Chill, give us some cover!

YN tries his new blaster with Chill who made a wall of ice, but it didn't last longer as it takes multiple damage from the ghouls. However, this gave them time to fight back against the Hoola gang, yet it was not enough.

Billy: level the place!

They continue to blast ghouls as its destroying most of the town.

Trixie: We can't fight ghouls with what we've got!

YN: I'm open for any ideas and make it quick! I'm short on slugs!

Eli: I'm down to my last two slugs!

Trixie: I've only got dazzlers left!

Kord: I'm out!

Pronto: And I have....no idea where mine went.

Eli: We need to get resonance of this cave in the fight.

Trixie: But these people said no.

Eli: (Smirk.) I'm not talking the people.

Eli looks up to see the grenuke slugs are still up there and YN realize what he means.

YN: Oh man, Guess we're bringing the the house down.

Eli: (Nods.) Pronto, you still have that sonic snare thingy?

Pronto nods and hold the device.

Trixie: (Smirk.) You're not thinking what I'm thinking.

Eli: Yeah. (Picks Burpy.) Okay Burpy, let's rally the troops. Cover us.

Trixie and YN nods and they continue to blast the gang. Pronto activates before tossing it to Kord who threw it up high. Once it was high enough, Eli blast Burpy towards the device which he grabs it and takes it to the grenuke slugs.

Unleashing a massive soundwave as it hurts the grenuke slugs. Just then, they all drop directly towards the Hoola gang like a bomber. This was enough to defeat the gang, but Billy was the last man standing.

Billy: We're not finished with you, I still have one more ghoul.

YN: (Aim his blaster at Billy.) That'd be the last thing you do!

Billy: I'd like to see you try!

Billy aims at Shane as Shane grabs the green slug.

Eli: Okay little guy, you're all I have left. Make us proud.

Eli prepares his blaster with the slug.

Billy: (Chuckles.) That worthless slug? This is over.

Billy blast his last ghoul and Eli did the same.

The two of the slugs clash until it was finally over. To everyone's surprised, they see the ghoul is back to normal.

Billy: (Shock.) What did you do to my ghoul!?

Trixie: That ghoul slug is no longer a ghoul slug.

Eli: So that's what you do, you're a healer!

YN: No way, a healer?

Trixie: This isn't just any healer, Eli. This one cures ghouls!

Billy: A healer!? No way!

The Shane gang got their blasters ready for another fight, but the Hoola gang ran away.

Kord: (Grin.) Bad guys defeated, new blaster for Eli and YN, not a bad days for work.

Eli: And we got a cool new slug in the process.

YN: I knew that slug is special, but I didn't expect it to be a healer.

Trixie: You do know healers are like the rarest slug in Slugterra, right?

Eli: Really?

YN: Definitely, just as rare as Frost. But now we have a fighting chance against Dr. Blakk ghouls.

The towns them cheers to the Shane gang victory as the healer now name doc bows. Now that they have a healer, they have nothing to worry about saving the slugs.
