YN POV

Its only been a day since Blakk is imprisoned in Stalagmite 17 and now we got bunch of Blakk goons trying to break him out already!? Man its like kids are desperate to get their parents back or something. Luckily I'm at one of the watch towers at the ocean to keep an eye out for any incoming.

   Speaking of which, it looks like we got someone coming in, looks like another Blakks goon. I should let my friends know. I pick up the comms and turn on the radio.

YN: Bird watch to Shane gang, we got another boat incoming with Blakks associates. Its Lock and Load, Cece, and John Bull. Over.

Eli: [Got it, we're ready for them. Keep an eye out for any more of Blakks pals. Over.]

YN: You got it. Over.

I place the speaker down and while I sat down to be on a look out.

???: So Blakk really is in Stalagmite 17 huh.

I didn't look who it is since I know her voice better than anyone around.

YN: Yeah, most of his lapdogs are trying to get him out. So far they're not even halfway to the hard part. I guess you didn't had to go through that since you have the shadow walker huh Dana.

Dana: Didn't even break a sweat.

Dana sat down while I look at the ocean. To tell you the truth, its always peaceful to see the ocean calming down.

Dana: You know the ocean isn't going anywhere right?

YN: I know, its just so peaceful to look at it.

Dana: When was the last time you had that moment?

YN: Since I was a kid with my parents. (Chuckles.) We always had a beach day every summer.

Dana: Huh, maybe someday we can go there when this is over.

YN: (Sigh.) Maybe.

Dana: You don't look happy.

YN: As long as Blakk is around with the ghouls and dark water, nowhere is safe in his reach.

Dana: Oh...right...at least we have each other.

YN: Yeah.

Dana them hugs me from behind as I hold her hands. It always feels warm when we hug together.

Dana: Huh, you were right, its really peaceful to look at the ocean.

YN: Calm before the storm they say.

Dana: Speaking of which, do you ever wonder how this all really began?

YN: As a matter of fact, I do. Thanks to Blakk.

Dana: How?

YN: Let's just say I'm not the kind of guy who plays around just for one answer. Personally I prefer straight answers.

Dana: Care to talk about it? I brought some snacks while we're at it.

YN: Deal. It may be a long story.

Dana: (Smirk.) I'm always interest with untold story.

I chuckle and she let me go before we both sat down by the table as she hands out some snacks.

YN: Thanks. So part of the story of how it began, it goes way back to my mom and her twin sister.

Past, 3rd POV

As YN said, it began with the twins. MN and Jessica in slugterra both were great siblings till one day they separate yet agree to stay silent about the surface world no matter what. MN always love about the slugs and the a peaceful civilization where as her sister who believes she could make a better place in slugterra. But to do that, she needed money and people she can trust.

   Unfortunately for her, she was captured and sent to a mining slave. She's been moving rocks until she accidentally bump into a teenager, probably same as her age.

Jessica: Sorry, I didn't mean to-

???: Its fine, just watch where you going.

Jessica: Right...

???: (Curious.) You're new here?

Jessica: Just a few weeks. How bout you?

???: Since I was a kid.

Jessica: What!? No way.

???: took me in because my dad bailed me.

Jessica: Why?

???: All he ever cared about is making money until Vigo Dare mess it up. From there my dad just bailed me.

Jessica: Wow....I hate to say it, but your dad is more of an idiot for abandoning his son.

???: Yeah, just wish he never did.

Jessica: You kidding me? Forget that guy. He's not worth going back to.

???: Yeah, you're right. Someday I'll find a way to live better without him.

Jessica: I'm Jessica by the way.

Thaddeus: I'm Thaddeus, Thaddeus Blakk.

MN was walking through the city cavern for groceries and tools supplies before heading back home where she rented a while ago. Until one moment, there was a robbery at the store she was in.

Robbery: All right everybody down!

One of the robberies fire a hoprock slug up, making everyone panic and they do what the robberies say.

2nd Robbery: Hand over your slugs and no one gets hurt. Resist and you'll face the consequences.

Everybody did what he said until someone enter the store.

???: Robbing a simple store for slugs and money? You guys pick the wrong timing for robbin.

MN look and see it was a teenager around the same age as him, dressing up like a cowboy and facing the robberies.

Robbery: Better scram kid or you're gonna regret it.

???: Took the words right out of my mouth pal.

The robberies aim their blaster at him but before they could shoot, the cowboy quickly draw his and fires arachnet slug to pin 2 of them against the wall. But then one remained and fired a rammstone slug as he dodges it before taking cover.

3rd Robbery: You know who you're messing with!?

???: Not a guy willing to turn himself in I'll give you that.

3rd Robbery: You're not gonna get out of this alive!

The robbery looks for the cowboy and spots him without him noticing. However, MN saw this and grabs a glass bottle and throws it at the robbery and missed by a feet away. Fortunately, this distraction gave the cowboy the opportunity to fire a frostcrawler slug and freezes the last robbery. After his victory, he offers MN a hand which she accepted it.

???: Thanks for the help.

MN: We should be thanking you for saving the store.

???: Just doing my job.

???: DN, we gotta get going before the others gets away!

DN: I'm on my way dad!

MN: DN? (Smirk.) Cute name.

DN: And may this beautiful girl give him her name if I may so ask?

MN: (Blushes.) I-I'm MN.

DN: Well MN, I'll see you around.

DN tip his hat before runs off with his dad as the employee steps in to check her if she's all right.

Employee: Are you all right girl?

MN: (Smiles.) Yup. I think I've met a nicest slinger ever.

After a few years pass and the twins grew bonds with their friends when they were separated. Jessica and Thaddeus manage to escape and make a promise that they'd make a better place in slugterra. They were both collecting slugs where Jessica end up finding an interesting slugs she named her Piper.

   After that, they were recruited by Vigo for a job. They've been doing the job until Jimmo Shane cut off their cargo supplies which made Vigo angry as they both confronted their boss.

Vigo: I lost an entire shipment because of you two!

Enraged, Vigo started firing slugs at them which made them run away.

Vigo: If either of you ever step foot in this cavern again and you will suffer.

With that, they left the cavern.

MN met DN again and like Jessica, they also grew a bond together as well as getting closer as couples. They both got to know each other and she is always welcome to visit anytime with DN dad permission where his name is James LN. MN always watch how he trained with his dad on slinging with his slugs.

   She wasn't much of a slinging, but she was very good in hand-to-hand combat which she offers her boyfriend a hand-to-hand combat and he accepts it. One day she wanted to accompany him to the cavern where the winnowing is. DN and James head to Dogen Grotto but MN decided to walk around the town where she soon hear a familiar voice.

???: MN?

She turns around only to see her twin sister and she smiles.

MN: Jessica!

They both hug each other from the happiness that they finally see each other again ever since.

MN: I missed you so much!

Jessica: After everything I've been through, I'm just happy I get to see you again.

MN: (Confused.) Wait, what happened?

Jessica: Let's find a place to talk first. Its a very long story.

MN agreed and they look for a cafe before they begin to trade stories to each other as well as introducing their slugs to each other. MN was sad at first but she was happy that her sister got away from all the danger she was in. Soon DN arrive and was surprise to see that Jessica share the same face.

DN: Uh....MNs?

MN: Oh hey DN! (To Jessica.) Jessica, this is my boyfriend DN. DN this is Jessica, my twin sister.

DN: (Smiles.) Nice to meet you.

Jessica: So you're an LN? No wonder some of the bad guys avoided me.

MN: Well we do share the same face.

Jessica: True, but I also got a boyfriend too. We always watch each other's back.

MN: Oh, I'd like to meet him someday

Jessica: He's actually here. Oh in fact there he is.

They turn and see but DN eyes widen when he see its Thaddeus Blakk walking away. Before Jessica was about to call him, DN stops her by asking her a question.

DN: That's your friend?

Jessica: Yup.

DN: Jessica, Thaddeus isn't who you think he is.

MN: What?

Jessica: What are you talking about?

DN: Back at the Dogen Grotto, I saw my friend Will duel with him and Thaddeus didn't held back. Almost trying to kill him until shanai stopped him.

Jessica: That's ridiculous, Thaddeus is not like that. I know him.

DN: I'm sorry, but I've seen it with my own eyes. Some people can change in a bad way.

Jessica: No way, I don't believe you guys. And he's not like that. Don't ever talk to him like that!

Jessica leaves with frustration as DN sigh in disappointment.

DN: Sorry MN, I didn't mean to.

MN: I know, but that's my sister. Maybe she can convince Thaddeus in a better way.

DN: I hope so.

After Jessica rejoined Thaddeus, Thaddeus decided to head back to the cavern where Vigo is. Jessica was hesitant at first but then understand, knowing that they have scores to settle with Vigo. When they defeated Vigo, they claim his business and everything Vigo had, marking the start of changing slugterra.

   However, as time passes, Jessica started to see what Thaddeus's been doing. Taking everyone's home, money, power, and their slugs. She begins to realize that Blakk is going too far and controlling fear at innocent people. After a few more days, she finally made a hardest decision, starting by confronted him as he's busy with the cargos.

Jessica: Thaddeus! This has gone too far. You need to stop this.

Blakk: And why would I do that?

Jessica: Because you're ruining everyone's lives by taking their home just to make an express!

Blakk: Only to improve the slugterra and taking over slugterra to make it better.

Jessica: By forcing them against their will? Forcing those who refuse to give away everything they had?

Blakk: We both had a same dream, remember? We can have power to change slugterra.

Jessica: But at a cost like this?

Blakk: Some price must be necessary to be paid.

Jessica: Thaddeus, you're better than this. Please, don't do this, we can make find a better solution that doesn't involve ruining civilians lives.

Blakk: Fear is the only thing these people will understand. With it, we can control slugterra and punish those who resist.

Jessica: If you keep doing this, you're never gonna see me again.

Blakk: I'm done hearing this. Leave, I have much to do.

Jessica didn't say anything but leaves and stole a mecha beast before any Blakk goons would stop her. She begins to cry while driving until she arrives where MN lives. When she knock the door she sees it was DN who answered the door.

DN: Jessica? I wasn't expecting you-

He then notice she was crying and ask.

DN: What happened?

Jessica: Is MN here?

MN: I'm coming.

MN come and saw her sister eyes which got her worried.

MN: Sister are you okay?

She didn't say anything and immediately hugs MN.

Jessica: Its Thaddeus.

DN: What did he do?

Jessica: Can I come inside? There's a lot to talk.

MN nods and she enter the room. Soon after giving her some tea, Will arrive to learn about Blakk and Jessica told them everything.

Jessica: You were right guys, Thaddeus lost himself. He's going too far that he doesn't even care anymore.

MN hugs her sister to comfort her as well as Piper. 

DN: I knew he was crazy, but not this crazy.

Will: We need to know where he is and stop him.

Jessica: I don't know, he always travels around from one cavern after another.

DN: Then we'll have to figure it out. I'll go get Tom. See if he can help us.

Will: Good idea.

DN heads out before MN talks to her sister.

MN: You can stay here as long as you want sister, Blakk won't know.

Jessica: No, I have to leave.

MN: But he'll be searching every cavern to find you.

Jessica: That's not what I mean, I have to leave slugterra.

Will: Wait, you mean...?

Jessica nods where Will started to understand but MN refuses.

MN: We'll find another way, make sure Blakk won't come.

Jessica: Thaddeus won't stop and I don't want to endangered you all just for me. I've been thinking through it ever since. This is the best way.

MN: Sisters...you don't have to do this.

Jessica: I know, but its our best chance.

MN was hesitant until she realize what's she trying to say.

MN: I understand...Will, can you-

Will: Yes, I can help. Its the least I can do.

Time skip

The three of them were out in the middle of a different cavern where there's giant mushrooms. But above the cavern, there's a whole that leads back to the surface world.

MN: You sure you want to do this Jessica?

Jessica: Yes, I've made up my mind.

MN: Its just....

MN couldn't help anymore and hugs her twin sister as she did the same.

MN: I'll miss you sister.

Jessica: I'll miss you too, I'll say hi to mom and dad for you.

Will: Jessica, its time.

Jessica: Right. Just promise me that you and DN will watch over my sister. (Whispers.) She sometimes gets a hot tempered quick.

MN: I heard that!

They all laugh together since it'll be their last moment together. Soon Jessica hands Piper to Will as he puts her in his blaster.

Will: Once you're up there, you can't tell anyone about this.

Jessica: I know. I'll watch over Piper until the time is right.

Will nods and be blast Piper. Once she transformed, Jessica throws a rope and Piper catches it with her mouth to give Jessica a lift. Everyone waves goodbye at her and she looks at them one last time before entering the hole that leads back to the surface world.

Present, YN POV

YN: After she vanished, nobody knows where she went. Only my parents, but they never wanted to tell me. Only that I had an aunt and Blakk was the reason why she left.

Dana: I never knew you had an aunt.

YN: Mom didn't want anyone know. Otherwise it'll travel to Blakk and he'll try to find her.

Dana: So whatever happened after?

YN: Same as always, Blakk wanted to find powerful slugs and he discovered a record about one of the legendary slugs that are powerful. And guess what slug it is?

Dana thought of it until Frost jumps on the table and gets her attention. Soon she realize what Blakk was after.

Dana: No way! Her!?

YN: Yup. Before Blakk could get her, my dad saved her from being delivered from a cargo slugs. From there, they've been a great team.

Dana: Now that I think of it, she sure is powerful.

YN: I try to look up about her species but there was nothing. Only that she's more rare than the enigma slug. The rest you know.

Suddenly we were interrupted by a loud engine and we look through the window only to see another Blakks goons coming through. But this time its Nacho riding on a Titan.

YN: Oh no, its Nacho!

Nacho sees us and aim the gatler at us.

YN: We need to go, now!

It was too late as Nacho rapidly fired ghouls at the tower we're standing on until it was nothing but a rubble.

3rd POV

Nacho grins before moving on. But once he was gone, Dana and YN reappear thanks to her shadow walker and they both sigh relief. 

YN: That was close.

Dana: We have to warn them before Nacho will destroy the entire Stalagmite 17!

Suddenly they hear the radio under the rubble.

???: (Static.) [Shane gang to bird watch, what's going on?...Bird watch? YN, do you read me? over.]

I dig the rubble down until I find the radio and pick up the speaker to warn them.

YN: Bird Watch to Shane gang! Nacho is on his way and destroyed the watch tower! I repeat, Nacho is on his way to you guys! Over!

Meanwhile with the Shane gang, Trixie was holding the radio and tries to listen what was YN trying to say.

YN: [Nacho is -- his ------ destroyed the ------- Nacho ------- to you guys! Over!]

Pronto: Aha, someone is delivering nachos. (Smiles.) Pronto hopes they have an extra cheese for his nachos!

Trixie: I don't know, something doesn't feel right.

Kord: Because it isn't.

Trixie: (Curious) How do you know?

Kord: Because I believed he means El Diablo Nacho. And that over there doesn't look good.

They look to where Kord is pointing, only to see the Titan arrive and Nacho appear from the hatch of the roof with the gatler.

Trixie: What is he doing!?

They fire slugs at the Titan but all it did was just bounce off. Nacho evily smirk and fire the gatler. Destroying Stalagmite 17 defenses.

Nacho: Its time.

Nacho then fire ghouls at above the prison, causing the ghouls to spin around the rooftop. But once they spin fast enough, it causes some kind of portal where it landed straight to Dr Blakks cell and Eli was there too.

Blakk: (Smirk.) As it turns out I'm expecting some new associates. Ah, they seem to be arriving now.

Just then a portal appear underneath him as four of the darkbanes emerged next to him. Eli fires a slug but Blakk was behind a unbreakable window cell.

Blakk: I have only begun to unleash my power on slugterra. The Shane's and LNs will soon be no more. Slugterra will be mine and there is nothing you can do to stop it!

Eli: No!

Blakk: (Smirk.) I enjoy our little chat.

Blakk then enters the portal with the darkbanes.

YN POV

Dana and I arrive with her holding my arm over her shoulder due to the watch tower destruction. As we got to Stalagmite 17, we were too late as the Titan got away which mean so did Blakk. We head up to find our friends are okay.

Eli: YN, you guys made it.

YN: I wouldn't have if it were for Dana.

Dana: You're welcome.

YN: Did Blakk...

Eli: Yeah, Nacho did some kind of portal by firing ghouls.

YN: How is that possible?

Kord: I don't know how that terraportal worked but we're lucky that only four darkbanes came through.

YN: (Shock.) Four darkbanes!?

Eli: Along with Nacho which makes five here in slugterra. We have to make sure Blakk doesn't try it again. After all you did to hold back his minions, I'm just sorry I let him get away.

Trixie: Its not your fault Eli. We'll go after Dr Blakk again, we'll find another way to hold him.

YN: Stalagmite 17 was the only stronghold prison in slugterra. I don't think we can hold another like this.

Eli: No, Dr Blakk is not a man that can ever be jailed. He'll have to meet his fate another way. For now, we've got a bigger battle to fight, we're gonna need all the help we can get.

YN: I'll call my dad to see if he can round up some people who can fight.

Eli: Good. We need to get ready and we need to spread the word.

Pronto: Well, what are we waiting for? To victory!

Pronto made a battlecry and runs off with his mecha beast. Soon everyone joins and they head to the battle. One where everyone must fight for their homes.

Past

When Jessica finally arrive to the surface world, Piper transformed back into slug and landed on Jessica shoulder before she pat her slug.

Jessica: I know you'll miss home, but I promise you'll go back there one day. But not with me.

Jessica rubs her stomach before returning back home.
