Its been a week since they've escaped Stalagmite 17. Thanks to Dana Por, YN learned that El Diablo Nacho is back and Blakk sent him on a mission to steal something. Whatever it is, the Shane gang needs to get it before he does.

   Right now, they're fighting Nacho at the home if the molenoids. However, all the molenoids are minding their own business in the middle of the fight. As if they don't even know what's going on.

Pronto: (With the mask.) Okay, what part of Pronto must never go home to mole mount did you not understand!?

Pronto quickly runs off but Kord pulls him back.

Trixie: Mole up Pronto, we have more urgent matters to attend to!

YN: Less talk more focusing on what's in front of us!

Nacho then fire three more ghouls as the Shane gang counter it while the entire molenoids are just minding their own business like nothings going on.

Kord: If these people don't move, someone's gonna get hurt!

Eli: Molenoids of mole mount! For your safety, please take cover and leave El Diablos Nacho to the Shane gang.

They ignore Eli as Nacho fired his hoprock ghoul at Eli, luckily he dodges it and gets to cover.

Eli: Why aren't the molenoids concerned for their safety?

Pronto: Pronto is not like other molenoids. They see what they want to see and there's only one of us in danger here. Me!

Eli: You can't outrun your past Pronto.

Eli fired his arachnet slug to trap Nacho with the web.

Eli: But whatever you did here couldn't have been that bad. Take YN for example, he had to face his past.

YN: Hey, that's my role!

With great strength, Nacho freed himself and fired another hoprock ghoul. The Shane gang got out before it hit then, but it hit Pronto as he fell in the middle of the molenoids crowd and his mask slipped. All the molenoids were surprise to see his face.

Molenoid: Its our king!

Pronto realize his mask fell of and tries to cover his face.

2nd Molenoid: He has return!

Molenoid kid: Hail King Pronto!

Shane gang: Pronto is their king!?

Pronto: (Nervous.) Uh, hello?

The molenoids cheers for his return as they help him up.

Eli: Pronto's their king? No wonder he refers to himself in the third person.

Trixie: And has a delusion of grandeur.

YN: Would've explain he thinks he's high and mighty.

Kord: Uh guys?

They were interrupted and almost forgot about Nacho still fighting them as they find cover.

Eli: Did the underground say why Blakk sent Nacho to mole mount?

YN: Only to steal something.

Trixie: From the mole mount? What are molenoids known for?

Eli: Weak eyes.

Trixie: Blocked pores.

YN: Cooking something that's rarely good for us to eat.

Kord: Largest collection of maps of slugterra.

Eli: Oh wait, that last one!

Nachos fired one more ghoul at their cover and then the ground tremble before they fell into a basement. Once they got back up, he was gone.

Kord: Nachos gone!

Trixie: But he was kicking our butts, why'd he run?

Kord: Cuz he's smart enough to know he wouldn't get a lucky shot.

YN: I would not underestimate him even at his weakness. Either way, let's just be glad we're alive.

Soon they see the molenoids are putting a royal cloak and a huge key to the mole mount.

Trixie: Urgh, he'll be impossible to live with now.

YN: Was it ever possible in the first place?

Trixie: (Shrugs.) Pretty much.

Eli: At least his majesty doesn't refer to himself with the "Royal we".

Trixie: Don't give him any ideas.

Pronto: I assure your chast, Pronto would never put on heirs.

Molenoid: As heir to the mole mount throne, you must take it.

Pronto refuse as he hides behind Kord until Eli speaks up.

Eli: Guys, Nacho left a trail we could follow all the way across slugterra.

Pronto: But that is not the way out if the mole mount, that is the path to wisdom.

The Shane gang look at each other confused.

Pronto: Which leads to the vault of knowledge?

Shane gang: .....

Pronto: (Scoff.) The repository of all molenoid information. Including the mapei mundi, the famed molenoid map of everything.

YN: Oh well why didn't you say so?

Eli: Wait, everything?

Pronto: Every cavern, tunnel, bridge, shortcut and hidey hole in slugterra.

Eli: That's gotta be what Dr Blakk sent Nacho here to find. If I'm right about Blakk being in league with a Darkbane, that map could give him other routes to the deep caverns. We can't allow that. Lucky thing King Pronto could order his whole army after Nacho.

Pronto: No, the molenoid king does not command armies.

Pronto removes his crown but the molenoid place it back.

Pronto: He serves his people paw and foot 25/7.

2nd Molenoid: 8 years back log and those toilets ain't gonna plunge themselves.

He hands Pronto the toilet plunge as the gang couldn't help but laugh.

Pronto: Pronto is not amused...

Eli: Listen, not to worry folks the Shane gang will take on Nacho and save your mapei mundi.

Pronto agrees as he tries to join his friends but ends up with the molenoid putting back his crown again.

Eli: Pronto you can sort this king stuff out later, but Nacho has a big head start and we need to move.

Molenoid: (To Pronto.) That life is over now your highness. Now that you gave finally returned to us, you must face up to your obligations.

Pronto tries to convince his people that he want to go with the Shane gang even with Eli help that they need a talented tracker until the molenoid gets an idea.

Molenoid: Sire, you may draw your friends a map to the map.

Frustration, Pronto draw a quick map and hands it to the Shane gang before they leave and catch up to Nacho.

Time skip

While Pronto stayed behind, the Shane gang make their way to the next cavern. Soon they arrive at their destination which seems to be a temple.

YN: Looks like this is it.

Eli: Hmm, we're playing catch up.

Trixie sees a sign carves above the entrance.

Trixie: Ignorance is bliss

Kord: Molenoid motto.

Eli: Well our bliss requires Blakk's ignorance. After you.

They head inside while Eli checks the map to see they're in a right path.

Eli: Huh, this can't be right

Trixie: Well he did just scribble that thing together in three seconds.

YN: I'm sure we can manage, what can go wrong?

Few seconds later...

The Shane gang end up finding a maze.

YN: I withdraw what I say...

Trixie: Seriously?

Kord: If this is the path to wisdom, no wonder the molenoids prefer ignorance.

Eli: We could have really used Pronto to get through this maze.

YN: No way Nacho would know this place from the back of his hand.

Eli: Let's find him.

They begin searching through the maze but after 30 minutes of searching. They couldn't find Nacho nor the right path to the mapei mundi.

Eli: No trace of Nacho. Must be pretty far ahead, we need to pick up the pace.

Kord: How's Nacho know where to go?

Trixie: We have Prontos map. What does Nacho have?

YN: There's no way he has a copy of map for this maze.

Just then, Eli spotted Nacho above.

Eli: Ask him!

Eli fired a slug at Nacho as he return fire. Others joins in before they run for cover. Just in time to find cover, Nacho fired a frostcrawler ghoul which created a ice wall to trap the Shane gang in a cave.

Kord: I thought we were goners.

Eli: Must be dumb luck we got away.

YN: How good is our luck if we found 3 paths where one of then is the right one?

They look to see what YN mentioned.

Eli: Uh, any guesses?

Trixie: Maps always have a riddle or cleverly hidden clue to point the way in cases like this.

Trixie pulls out the map to search for clues.

Trixie: Let's see...how would Pronto think?-

Eli: Found it!

They turn to see Eli founding the path where there's signs that leads to right direction.

YN: Huh, least this saves time for us from searching.

They enter only to end up with another maze. Trixie checks the map to ensure they're in the right path.

Trixie: We're suppose to keep climbing.

Kord: Yeah well, we ain't climbing that.

YN: didn't they thought to put stairs or at least some ropes to climb up?

Kord: I have no idea. But either way, we need to find a way up.

Eli: You're right, we're gonna have to float up.

Eli fires a bubbaleone slug as it transforms and floats before Eli grabs on like a balloon and floats. Others did the same thing and they head up.

Unbeknownst to them, Nacho is behind them, doing the same thing as they are with his own bubbaleon ghoul until Trixie spotted him.

Trixie: Its Nacho!

Nacho then fired a ghoul at them as the Shane gang does the same until YN gets an idea.

YN: I got this. Echo, let's do this!

YN fires echo as it transforms and YN drops for Echo to catch him. That way he can move fast in mid air. He fires Twist as it blows Nacho away with wind. YN then joins up with the Shane gang as Echo transform back into slug.

YN: Got him, he's out of the way at least.

Trixie: But what if he's taking a shortcut?

YN: Doubt it. Let's get going.

They now arrive at a door.

Eli: Sealed. We're here first.

Kord: Huh, I was expecting it to be uh you know, grander?

YN: This area is molenoids. Bet they weren't expecting for us to be here.

Kord: Probably.

Trixie: Now how do we get in? The doors are covered in smolten.

Eli: (Smirk.) Remember this guy?

Kord: (Smiles.) The forgesmelter, perfect!

Eli fires the slug to melt the smolten to unlock the door. Once they open it, they see a massive lairs of papers of maps where each had a rock above to prevent from flying away.

Trixie: (Amazed.) Look at all this stuff.

Kord: Looks kinda like a library.

YN: Great, my greatest enemy of all in slugterra. Library...

Eli: Well, dig in.

They begin searching for the map while Trixie found some kind of a piece of a book which got her curious.

Trixie: Hmm...

Eli: Find something?

Trixie: Not the map. Something else.

Kord: Can we hurry up before Nacho realizes his mistake?

Suddenly the hear an explosion, revealing Nacho made his way with a hoprock ghoul.

Kord: (Sigh.) He's already here...

Nacho: Thanks for leading the way.

Trixie: (Confused.) Us? You were a step ahead the whole time!

Eli: No, he wasn't. He tailed us!

YN: He fooled us before following us this whole time for us to make a path for him!

Nacho: Now hand over the map.

YN aimd his duel blasters at him.

YN: Like we wanted to.

Eli: Besides, we don't have it. But if you want to help us search, we could use the extra hands.

Nacho: I prefer to work alone.

YN: Go figured.

Eli: Guys, grab on to something!

Eli fires his tormato slug to create a tornado, causing some of the papers to fly off while the Shane gang hold on to anything. Nacho was about to shoot Eli until his eyes caught one of the flying maps as Eli sees it when it hit Kords face, realizing which map it is.

Eli: That's it!

Kord: What's it?

YN: The map!

It then fly off but Eli wasted no time but to pursue it as the wind caught him. He was close to get it until Nacho throws a tazerling ghoul as it transform with the speed of the wind before shocking Eli. Once the wind stops, Eli fell but got the map.

   However, Nacho fires a vinedril ghoul to trap Trixie and Kord. Eli and YN were about to get them out but Kord warns them of Nacho who fired another ghoul. Their back were against the wall until YN had enough.

YN: All right that's it, you and me Nacho!

Nacho fires a ghoul but YN dodges it before running towards him. Before Nacho could reload, YN gave him a punch directly to his face, causing him to drop his blaster.

Nacho: That was a big mistake.

YN: Want payback? Then come and get it!

YN get to his fighting stance where Nacho smirk for wanting for a challenging fight as he grips his fist. Once they got close, Nacho went for a punch but YN dodges it and uppercuts him right under the jaw.

YN swings another punch but Nacho dodges it only for YN to kick him to the stomach before swinging a powerful kick.

YN: Not so fun now is it?

This got Nacho angry as he grab and fire his blaster at YN with a rammstone ghoul.

YN: Oh snap...

The ghoul swings a powerful punch at him. 

Nacho then reload his blaster and aim his blaster at Eli who's down.

Nacho: Hand it over.

Eli: What does black want with it?

Nacho then notice Eli eyes are looking and he spotted Eli's tazerling slug and grabs it.

Nacho: This slug has cost me a lot of trouble. Hand me the map or its paste.

Jewels bite and shock Nacho hand to free himself, but it only tickled him as he squeezes the slug.

Eli: Stop!

Eli grabs the map and offers it to him.

Eli: Take it. But whatever Blakk has planned, he won't get away with it!

Trixie: Eli don't!

Eli: Sorry Trix, its the only way.

Nacho tosses the slug to him as Eli did the same with the map to Nacho. Once he claim the map, he quickly leaves as Eli picks up his thresher slug.

Eli: Buzsaw, help them out.

The slug nods as it cuts off the vines to free Trixie and Kord while Eli helps up YN.

YN: You let Nacho take the map.

Eli: Worry about that later, we gotta get out of here.

Meanwhile Nacho got out of the temple but fired a grenuke ghoul to blow it up as it begins to crumble down.

YN: Del, make a exit!

Del nods as YN fires him to create a exit tunnel. With it, they manage to escape from the destruction of the temple.

Kord: Guys this place is coming down!

YN: (Smiles.) Great work Del. 

Trixie: So the some total of molenoids history.

Eli: Yeah, that can't be good.

YN: Honestly I don't think they even care about the place.

Kord: Still, Nacho got the map.

Eli: (Smirk.) Actually...

Eli pulls out the real map.

Eli: He's not the only one who knows how to pull a bait and switch.

YN: Huh, glad I brought enough time for that.

The Shane gang arrive back to the mole mount and see Pronto and Sedo were in a duel.

YN: The heck is going on right here?

Eli: No idea. (To the molenoids.) Folks we're really sorry but your people's history is...

Trixie: History.

The molenoids just shrugs as if they didn't care. While that was happening, Pronto took the upper hand by snatching Sedo blaster and aims at him.

Sedo: Oh no...

Pronto: Ah yes!

Pronto fires but Sedo dodges it as he laughs.  However, the stink slug deflected and went directly to Sedo mouth before transformed and blast a stink bomb from the inside. Defeating Sedo as Pronto reclaimed his crown.

Molenoid: In somewhat indirectly smiting your majesty.

Pronto: Yes, another senseless victim of secondhand smote.

While that was happening, Eli was looking at the map and realizes it shows more than just the deep cavern direction. Something that got him more worried that he asked Pronto who's the king to destroy the map so Blakk won't go after it anymore.

Pronto: You want me to eliminate the last surviving fragments of molenoids history!? (To molenoid.) Can I do that?

Trixie: Actually you can.

Trixie holds out the piece of book and place it on the book to make it complete.

Molenoid: The missing chapter of the book of mole mount, its been lost for ages!

Pronto: Ah what the heck, ignorance is bliss right?

Eli: (Smiles.) Burpy?

Burpy nods and breathes fire to burn the map before Pronto curiously ask the molenoid.

Pronto: So what does the new chapter say about the king going on adventure with his friends maybe?

The molenoid then explains that if the king were to be away from his kingdom and unable to preform his duties, he must leave someone to be in charge for while the king is gone. Pronto happily chose Sedo to do it and to do almost everything that the king must do especially with fixing everything. With it, the Shane gang leave the cavern and made their way back home.

Eli: Nacho really played us. Too predictable.

Trixie: So we'll change up our game.

YN: To do that, we gotta be one step ahead of Blakk and his pals.

Eli: That's not what bothers me. The mapei mundi didn't just point the way to the deep caverns it marked the location of the drop.

YN: You mean...

Eli: (Nods.) What if Blakk doesn't want to go deeper. What if he's searching for a way to the surface?

Kord: Yeah but since the one and only copy of the map is toasts, Blakks not going anywhere right?

YN: If he is planning to go to the surface, then I'll make sure he'll stay down here for the rest of his life.

Trixie: Hey if you destroyed the original map, what does Nacho have?

YN and Eli both smirk before answering her question.

Eli: Let's just say he'll learn what's the word "nacho" really is.

YN: All in all, I'd say we got the last laugh. Come on, let's head home.

They head back home knowing that they secrets passage of the surface is now burned to ashes.
