3rd POV

Stalagmite 17. The most escape-proof prison in all of Slugterra. Watchful guards, high tech locks, steel doors, and now in control of it all....

Saturday: Me! Mr Saturday! (Laughs.) I can think of no better place to hold the world famous Shane gang.

Eli: Go ahead and gloat Saturday, but you're missing two little things.

Saturday: Oh and they are?

Eli: The two of us you didn't manage to capture. And they're probably on their way to rescue us right now.

Meanwhile somewhere in the middle of the cavern, Pronto emerge out of the rubble as well as Burpy.

Pronto: Haha! Nothing to keep the great Pronto away from the fight!- hey, where did everybody go?

Brupy: Chirps.

Pronto: Oh, captured? Well never fear, Pronto will come to the rescue!

Just then he sees rocks falling down above him before he uses the umbrella to sheild him from the rocks. But it then ended up covering him with rocks.

Trixie: This is really gonna take a miracle, isn't it?

Eli hit his head against the cage bar while Mr Saturday contacts Dr Blakk to inform him of the Shane gang are captured.

Blakk: (Grin.) [Hm, I wouldn't believe it if I wasn't seeing it with my own eyes. The Shane gang, locked up like a pack of stray dogs. I'll be there before nightfall to collect them.]

Eli: Congratulations Saturday, you're now officially another minion of Dr Blakk.

Saturday: No, no, no, no. I am a businessman and this is strictly business. (To Blakk.) Although I am running a little low on ghouls Dr Blakk.

Blakk: [Call our arrangements what you wish, you'll get your ghouls when I get the Shane gang and a bonus if you find and capture YN LN before I arrive. And one other thing, none of your mind control foolishness. I want our prisoners fully aware as they count down the minutes to my arrival.]

Blakk hangs up before Eli speaks up.

Eli: He's not here yet Saturday and there's still plenty of time for us to break out.

Saturday: From Stalagmite 17? I have every guard under my control and they have one simple order, to ensure you do not escape. Now if you'll excuse me...(smiles.) I need to get myself a smoothie.

With that, Mr Saturday leaves.

Eli: I can't believe I got us into this mess. I should've let YN do rather than me.

Trixie: Come on Eli, its not your fault. Well technically it is your fault.

Eli bang his head against the wall out of depressed.

Trixie: But we forgive you.

Eli: Just don't ask me to forgive myself for what happened.

Flashback

Out in the middle of the cavern, the Shane gang are pin down by dozen of security guards who are zombified and fire slugs at them.

YN: They got us cornered!

Trixie: Ambushed by zombies! This is the world's worst surprise party.

Eli: Gotta use a double barrel blaster!

Kord: Without the enigma slug?

Eli: We've been practicing.

YN: Here, use Frost with your tormato slug.

Eli: That won't be necessary.

YN: Looks to me that it is!

Eli: Don't worry, I think I got this.

YN: Wait, you think!?

Eli ignored him as he fire fusion of his rammstone and tormato slug. They both created a powerful fusion but it became unstable as the tornado went out of control.

Pronto: Oh no, that does not look good.

Eli: Run!

Without saying anything, YN fired Del to make a tunnel and Spidey to create a web of string for YN to grab on before Spidey heads towards the hole Del made. Soon YN got in before shouting at his friends.

YN: Guys, I here!-

Suddenly a huge rock fell as it sealed yn inside while Pronto crashed into a different cave before it sealed itself by the rubble. Unfortunately for the rest of the gang, they are completely surrounded by the zombies while Mr Saturday laughs at his victory.

In a different cavern, something emerge from the ground and it reveal to be Del who dig a hole before transforming back to normal as Spidey came out before pulling YN out who's coughs out from the dust.

YN: Thanks guys. That was disaster.

Both Del and Spidey looked at him with a disappointed look.

YN: Okay, I'll take the blame for not doing the fusion. But that was Eli idea.

They both folded their arms, still with the same look.

YN: Fine, that's on me and next time I'll do the fusion blast.

They nods before jumping back in his tube. YN gets up and looks around, realizing that they're all gone.

YN: Well that's not good.

???: Nope, it gets worst from here.

YN POV

I turn around only to see Dana sitting by the cliff.

YN: How did you know I was here?

Dana: (Smirk.) Please YN, you know I got eyes everywhere.

YN: I'mmm gonna pretend I didn't heard that.

Dana: (Laughs.) Just messing with you. Putting that aside, how did you guys got defeated? They weren't even using ghouls against you.

YN: Mr Saturday.

Dana: The Voodoo slinger? Greeeaat.

YN: Judging by the security that Saturday hypno ghouled, they're from Stalagmite 17. Most heavily guarded prison in slugterra.

Dana: That's where they've must've taken your friends.

YN: Won't be long before Blakk gets them. I better get going, wanna tag along?

Dana: (Smirk.) Thought you never asked.

We head to my mecha and wasted no time to head for Stalagmite 17.

Dana: So what's the plan for rescuing them from Stalagmite 17?

YN: Well, we can't just go in and start slinging our way in and out while rescuing our friends. So we're gonna have to find a way in and out.

Dana: (Scoff.) I've escape there once. With my help, it'll be a piece of cake.

YN: (Smirk.) And by the time they're out, we'd be back by dinner.

Dana: This'll be quick before we know it.

Time skip

We now arrive in one of the watch towers on the ocean near Stalagmite 17. One of towers where guards can spot anyone escaping or entering and contact Stalagmite 17. Speaking of guards, surprisingly there isn't anyone in it.

YN: So basically you got lucky escaping because there weren't any guards here.

Dana: I use shadow walker remember?

YN: I know, I was just joking.

Dana grabs her binocular and looks at the prison.

Dana: Now that we're close, we just gotta figure out where exactly are they.

YN: I got that covered. Check this out.

I show her my new tracking device.

YN: I place a tracking device on Kord in case if one of them got captured which is a good use right now.

Dana: Wait since when did you put a tracking device on your cave troll friend?

YN: Back at the slugball game championship. When Kord lost his tooth and Pronto found it. So out of my instinct I offer him to heal him up with Mercy but I replace it with a tracking device instead.

Dana: Wait, does Kord know about it?

YN: Would it make any difference?

Dana just shrugs before she looks at the prison with her binocular.

YN: Look all that matters is that we get our friends out before Blakk shows up. They won't be expecting us, so we have the element of surprise.

Dana: Uh, speaking of surprises, it looks like your mole friend is out.

3rd POV

YN looks through his long shot blaster scope only to see Pronto is sneaking his way in with Burpy.

Dana: Is it me or is he doing a solo mission?

YN: Yeah I don't know whether that's good or bad if he's trying to rescue them solo.

Dana: ....

YN: ....

Dana: ...Eyes from the shadow?

YN: Eyes in the shadow.

Dana: (Nods.) I leave the rest to you.

They both nods and split up. Once YN made his way to the Stalagmite 17, he meets up Pronto as he leans against the wall while watching Pronto doing his tracking skills by sniffing.

YN: So how goes your tracking Pronto?

Pronto: (Surprise.) YN LN!? You're here!?- uh I mean of course. Pronto could use an extra help to save the Shane gang.

Burpy hops on YN shoulder as Frost is happy to see them OK.

YN: Right, so uh we know our friends are in there. But there's definitely zombified guards all over the place.

Pronto: Ha, they think they can hold us when Pronto is around? Pronto will go all out blazing to his enemies.

YN: All do respect, we're outnumbered and it will take forever and by the time we've reached them, Blakk will be here.

Pronto: True, which is why Pronto has another plan. Yours.

YN: (Sigh.) All right then, our best chance is to sneak our way through all the guards. Luckily I put a tracking device on our friends so we'll know where to find them.

Pronto: Ah yes, but a quick question, how exactly are we gonna sneak in without spotting us?

YN: To spot us, they're gonna have to find the real one. Right Blindsight?

Blindsight jump on his shoulder and nods. With Blindsight help, YN disguise into a zombie guard to blend in.

YN: Put this on, we can blend in easily.

YN hands Pronto handcuffs.

Pronto: Ah yes, soon they will know that Pronto has his element of surprise!

Pronto puts the handcuffs on before YN opens the door. They enter as YN acts like a zombie while they make their way through. Successfully fooling the zombified guards as they pass. After that, YN takes a look at the tracking device.

YN: (Whispers.) We should be near.

Pronto: (Whispers.) Excellent. But what are we going to do when they spotted us?

YN: (Whispers.) We still have the element of surprise. But if we can spot Mr Saturday, I can stop and cure his hypno ghoul. That way we can cure the guards.-

Suddenly he stops and sees the tracking is moving.

Pronto: (Whispers.) What is it?

YN: (Whispers.) It looks like they're on the move, they must've gotten out.

Pronto: (Whispers.) Blah, that tracking device is useless. Pronto on the other hand, will find them easily.

YN: (Whispers.) Hmm....OK, new plan. You go find our friends while I go find Mr Saturday. We'll be stuck here if we can't stop him.

Pronto: (Whispers.) Ah, an excellent plan. Pronto will save the Shane gang!

YN hands Pronto his tracking device before they split up. YN run to look for Mr Saturday, with Mercy healing, she can cure Mr Saturday hypno ghoul. Unfortunately for YN, instead of finding Mr Saturday, YN ran into the Shane gang as they aim their blasters at him.

YN: Whoa whoa whoa! Its me!

Eli, Trix, Kord: YN?

Blindsight removes YN disguise as they're surprise to see him. 

Trixie: YN, what are you doing here?

YN: Here to rescue you guys. Well, Pronto is suppose to do that. Is he with you?

Kord: Haven't seen him.

YN: Great, plan's not going right...

Eli: (Confused.) What plan?

YN: The plan is that is that Pronto find you guys while I find Mr Saturday to stop the zombified guards.

Trixie: Let's just hope Pronto doesn't run into him.

YN: I wouldn't have to worry, Burpy is with him. So I'm sure he'll be fine.

Suddenly the zombified guards spotted them and they hold their blasters.

Kord: Pronto will be fine, but what about us?

YN: If we're going down, we're going down hard!

Eli: Careful choosing your slugs. Not the guards fault they're zombies. Don't want to hurt them.

They hold them off but was soon surrounded. However, all the guards suddenly turned back to normal as they were confused on what just happened.

YN: Okay, what just happened?

Trixie: Pronto must've somehow reverse the ghoul.

Eli: Either way, run!

They head straight to the shore right after they exit the prison.

Eli: Perfect timing, let's get far from here as we can.

Unfortunately, they're were only on time for Dr Blakks arrival.

Blakk: Unfortunately, I don't think you'll be getting far away at all.

Blakk destroyed the boat with his grenuke ghoul.

YN fires his rammstone at Blakk, but he dodges it before he and his men fired back. The Shane gang find cover from the ghouls.

Trixie: Maybe we could swim for it!

Kord: Maybe we can be shark flaws.

Eli: No choice, gotta slug it out!

They fired slugs at Blakk but they were then pushed back.

Blakk: Shame that you were close to escape. But unfortunately you won't be leaving.

???: I do not think so Dr Blakk!

They turn to see Pronto above the stairs.

Shane gang: Pronto!

Blakk laughs, still believing they're still stuck.

Pronto: You may laugh at Pronto, but let me introduce you to my little friend!

Pronto fired Burpy, knocking out the ghouls before surrounding Blakk and his men with fire as the gang are reunited.

Pronto: Consider yourselves rescued!

Trixie: That flames fire's gonna fizzle, we gotta bail!

Eli: Question is, how?

Burpy gets an idea and shows Eli that he and Bubbaleone can make a fusion to escape.

Eli: (Grin.) Got it.

Eli pulls out his double barrel piece.

Trixie: The double barrel? Eli what if it doesn't work!?

YN: Last time you did it, the fusion went out of controlled!

Eli: Burpy thinks it will.

They doubt it may work until Pronto says otherwise.

Pronto: You had seen what I have my friends, you would not hesitate to have faith in this slug.

Frost chirps as agreeable.

YN: Frost trust him, so I trust her.

Kord: That's good enough for me.

Eli fired Burpy and Bubbaleone, their fusion created a flying bubble and it swallowed the Shane gang before fly off. Successfully escaping the Stalagmite 17.

Eli: I knew you wouldn't let me down Burpy and uh, you too guys.

YN: Heh, Pronto did most of it.

Pronto: Yes, we made a great team.

Kord: Did Pronto shared a credit with a slug while YN leaves the credit to him?

YN: Okay don't rub it in.

Pronto: Of course, Pronto knows how to handle slugs. See all of you could take a lesson from Pronto, be strict hut fair with a steady hand.

YN: Welp, there goes that.

Pronto: In order to understand this slug, you must go to a simple 20 point checklist. Step #1: does it stink and by stink I mean smell.-

Shane gang: Pronto...

YN: (Sigh.) I should've stayed at Stalagmite 17....
