YN POV

Its been a while since We've gone to the deep cavern. Hard to imagine we got in and out of there. Seeing deep cavern with my own eyes, it look like hell but with dark water too.

   I was surprise to learn my dad was there and alive. At least I also get to learn about my family "forgotten history" and that my dad is back too. When we got back to Slugterra, we sealed the gate thanks to Doc healing and he became a new guardian slug.

   Good thing we have Mercy for curing ghouls so we don't have to worry too much. Putting that aside, we still have bigger problem in front of us. Recently my intel learn that Blakk industries create a powerful train that is extremely fast and that the gatler is fix and ready to destroy anything in its way.

   If we don't stop the train, Blakk will cause a mayhem all over slugterra. One way or another, we have to stop the train with all we got or else the train will cause chaos wherever it goes. The plan is to block the train track in order to stop it.

Eli: This is where we'll stop them with our element of surprise.

YN: Stopping the train is our first priority. As long as its running, it'll destroy everything in its path.

Kord: Look who it is.

We all see the train up ahead entering the tunnel.

YN: Here we go.

Eli: Wish I could see the look on Blakks face when he realizes we're alive.

Just then we see the train is coming very fast.

Pronto: So uh, how do we stop this mighty mighty train.

Eli: Uh you know, that's a good question.

YN: Uh, we should probably move. Like right now!

We immediately did that as the train rams through the rocks and it almost got us killed.

YN: Well, that went well.

Eli: So plan B?

Kord: We have a plan B?

Eli: Yeah, mount up and slug it out!

YN: I feel like we should've done that in the first place.

Kord: Yeah we should probably call that plan A.

Trixie: Whatever we call it, let's do it!

We got on our mechas and chase after the train. Once we catch up, Blakk henchmen were on the rooftop of the train and start firing ghouls at us before we fire slug back at them.

Pronto: We cannot keep up such speed for long!

Eli: Then let's slow that thing down. Kord, YN, plan C?

Kord: Like you have to ask.

YN: Ready when you are.

The three of us fire our rammstone at the side of the train and hits it directly. Unfortunately it didn't have any effective.

Kord: We didn't even make a dent in that thing!

YN: They must've spent a lot of time to make it withstand any attacks.

Trixie: Guys, go for the wheels!

Eli: Yep, plan D. I'm on it!

Kord and Eli head to the right side of the train while the rest of us head to the other side before we fired our slugs at the wheels. But it was then protected by its armored wheels.

YN: Okay, I didn't see that coming.

Kord: Why is everything he makes so cool!?

Eli: I'm thinking derailing might not be an option here. Everyone, plan E.

YN: You gotta fill us in with your plans before we even get started!

Pronto: Eli, look out!

I see Blakk is on the rooftop and aims at Eli, I quickly pull out my long shot blaster and counter his ghoul before it could hit Eli.

Blakk: I was sure you perished when you fell into the great abyss. Once again, you two have disappointed me.

YN: What, you expect a mere fall would get rid of us that easily? Sorry to disappoint you, but you were wrong.

Eli: (Smirk.) And that's what makes our job fun.

Blakk: Well, my job has its perks as well.

The gatler then emerge and Blakk takes the control of the weapon.

YN: Everybody get to the back!

Blakk maniacly laughs as he fires rapidly of ghouls at us.

Trixie: How does he have so many ghouls? Wasn't he just rationing them?

Kord: Guess he was saving up for this.

Eli: Or he found a new way to make them!

YN: I don't care how he makes them, we need to stop it before he makes more ghouls.

Eli: We can't stop the train from back here. Trixie, Pronto, fan out. (To the rest.) Plan F?

YN: (Smirk.) Time for some old fashion way. Cowboy style.

Kord: (Grin.) All aboard.

3rd POV

Trixie and Pronto draw Blakks henchmen fire while the rest tries to jump on. Pronto fires a Phosphoro slug to blind them. As soon as they regain their sight, they don't see the three of them on their mechas until they heard Eli.

Eli: What? You want to get off here?

He aims his blaster at Eli until YN pulls him out of the train while Kord did the same to the other henchman.

YN: No ticket, no ride.

Blakk notice them and fires the gatler at them. Luckily they evade the ghouls as they find cover on the train. Just then the train took a different path.

Kord: Where are we going?

Trixie quickly checks the map to see where the train is heading.

Trixie: The beast forge!

Eli: If Blakk destroys the forge...!

Kord: It sure won't make more mecha beasts anytime soon!

Trixie: Which mean slugterra will be even more dependant on the subterrane express!

YN: And Blakk!

Pronto: And.... I got nothing.

Siren: Beast forge in range 500 meters.

Eli: Gotta stop this train before the gatler in the range of the forge.

YN: Contact Grendel, get him to evacuate everyone out of the forge!

Trixie does that and fills Grendel in the situation but there's not enough time before it arrives.

Kord: We're out of time and we've already thrown everything we've got at him!

Eli: Not everything, we gotta use the double barrel! I need to try a fusion shot.

YN: Fusion shot at this time?

Eli: I know you can do it but you'll need two hands. I don't.

Kord: What, no way! We haven't tested it yet!

YN: We don't even know which of your slugs can do the fusion!

Eli: Then consider this a test! You guys ready?

Burpy and his Aquabeek nods while enigmo tries to jump in the tube but Eli stops him.

Eli: Sorry enigmo, I don't think your blurry vision is gonna help right now.

YN: They're in range!

Eli: Cover me!

Kord and YN nods and they clear a path for Eli for a clear shot.

Eli: Blakk, this is your last chance to give up!

Blakk: Ha! You still think you can stop me?

Eli: No, I know I can stop you because I have this!

Eli set his blaster into double barrel mode and load fire Burpy and his Aquabeek before firing.

Both created a fusion but it cause a massive reaction that the fusion failed.

Kord: What happened!?

Eli: I don't know. Not exactly what I was hoping for.

Eli picks up his slugs and realize they look exhausted. Not just his slugs but to everyone around.

Pronto: (Scoffs.) No good lazy slugs!

Trixie: Its not their fault, I think that energy wave shorted them all out.

Blakk: (Laugh.) Too bad it didn't have the same effect on my ghouls.

Blakk aims his gatler at the gang but instead, he aims at the forge and fires his ghouls. Though Grendel and his workers were out, the entire factory is destroyed. The Shane gang couldn't do anything but to watch the destruction of the forge. Leaving Blakk laugh of his victory.

Blakk: I do hope you enjoyed that show because its the last thing you'll ever see!

Now Blakk aims his gatler at the Shane gang.

Blakk: Now Eli Shane and YN LN, now that you're about to suffer your final fate do either of you have any last- oh forgot that, Goodbye!

Henchman: The Shadow clan!

Blakk: What!?

Out of nowhere, the shadow clan appear and aided the Shane gang. The Shane gang run to cover, however, the leader of the clan grabbed Eli and kidnapped him while the rest saw this.

Kord: (Aim his blaster.) Eli!

Eli: You stay with Blakk, I'll be okay!

The rest of the shadow clan runs off with the leader and Eli. Leaving Blakk in one piece.

Maurice: You okay sir?

Blakk: Hmph, far better than the Shane. Looks like he's about to suffer a fate worse than I could dealt him. I almost feel sorry for him....almost. We're finished here, head for lumino cavern next.

Maurice: What about the rest of the Shane gang? They have YN LN by their side.

Blakk: Without Eli Shane, they're nothing. Besides, even though YN LN by their side, hunting them down will be a waste of ghouls.

With it, they get back inside the train before moving out.

Kord: Trix, we gotta go after Eli!

Trixie: No, you heard Blakk. If he gets to Lumino, he'll do the same thing he did to the forge.

YN: No doubt it ain't gonna stop from there either.

Trixie: We gotta stop that train.

Pronto: Besides, Eli is with the shadow clan. So he should be fine. Hopefully...maybe...well... Least there's a chance?

YN: I don't know, they sound like they were angry at something. Almost angrier than my mom when she saw dad again.

Kord: Uh, how did that go?

YN: Well....

Flashback

(Start at 1:01. Thorfinn - Dad, his sister - mom.)

Flashback ends

This left the Shane gang speechless until Trixie breaks it.

Trixie: And here I thought your family is normal like any other family.

YN: (Shrugs.) Its slugterra. Everything ain't always normal these days.

Trixie: Good point.

Short time skip

The Shane gang except for Eli are getting ready to leave while Trixie is checking out the map. However, their slugs are still weakened state.

YN: I've contact Lumino, warn them about the factory destruction and that Blakk is on his way to Lumino. They should get the civilians to safety before it arrives.

Kord: Well that's good, least the civilians won't get hurt.

Pronto: OK, Pronto hate to point out the obvious, but seeing as how we could not stop the train when we have one of our best slinger and our slugs actually worked, we are going to stop the train Blakk how?

Trixie: By beating him to the brake line bridge. Blakks train has to come across here to get to lumino. If we can get there first, we might be able to stop him without a big slinging battle.

YN: In other words, taking out the bridge before he crosses it.

Trixie: A perfect element of surprise.

Kord: Yeah, nice plan you guys, but how are we gonna do that? His super fast train has a super huge head start.

Trixie: (Smirk.) Yeah, if only we had a stellar tracker who knew shortcuts and secret passages.

YN: (Chuckles.) So secret that not even Blakk or his pals knows the quickest travel.

Pronto: Hm yes, that would be adve- hey wait a minute, I'm right in front of yo-.....Ahaha! Touché. Follow me.

YN: (To Trixie and Kord.) You know, sometimes its good to have a molenoid who's good at this.

They both nod before following Pronto, leading to the quickest way to the bridge. After an hour of traveling on mechas, they finally arrived.

Kord: Its the bridge! Nice work mole man.

Pronto: (Smiles.) Pronto always delivers. His shortcuts like his modesty are a thing of legend.

Trixie: Time for you to deliver Kord, Blakks train is gonna be here any second!

Kord: You know its pretty offensive to assume I know bridges just because I'm a troll.

Trixie & YN: Don't you?

Kord: (Grin.) Well of course I do.

YN: OK troll man, do your magic.

They head downstairs to the generator where it supports the bridge together.

Kord: Hm, I need to take out the supports.

YN: Nothing but a hoprock can't destroy quick.

They grab their blasters but their slugs are still exhausted.

YN: We uh might have a problem.

Pronto: What kind of problem?

Kord: I don't think they got enough pop in him.

YN: None of our slugs do.

Trixie: They're coming!

Kord: Hm, it looks like we're gonna have to do this the old fashioned way.

Kord opens the generator and tries to hotwire it to shut it down. But nothing work as the train gets closer by the second until Kord immediately rips off the piece of it, successfully shutting it down. Perfect timing for the train to arrive as the bridge crumbles and falls apart while the train falls down.

YN: Yeah!

Trixie: Wohoo!

Kord: (Smiles.) Kord always delivers.

Pronto: Hey, that's my line!

Trixie: Um guys?

They hear something coming from down below as the ground shakes. Soon it reveal to be the train flying back up.

Trixie: That thing can fly!?

Kord: An off railored?

The train lands back at the rails and continue onward to Lumino cavern.

Pronto: Oh that is not so good...

YN: Well that's just cheating....

Trixie: You know, we probably should have been on the other side of the ravine when we blew up the bridge.

YN: A Frostcrawler would be easy to get cross if only they weren't at their weak state.

Trixie: Let's just get there fast before its too late.

They nod and quickly get on their mechas to go around.

Kord: I still don't get it, we created a double barrel but the fusion didn't work. (To YN.) How is it that you can do a fusion?

YN: I don't know, I just did it an because winter and water are connected.

Trixie: Connected? How?

YN: Frost and Aqua are connected...because of...their auras...? Of course! Why didn't I think of it!?

Kord: Huh?

YN: The enigma slug, its the key to make the fusion!

Pronto: Uh, Pronto does not follow.

Trixie: No wait, I think I'm getting it. When you were hit by the enigma slug, you mentioned it showed you something else right?

YN: Yeah, it showed me the auras of the slugs. Each were different color but with the right slugs and if their auras are connected, it means they can create a powerful fusion.

Kord: So how'd you know?

YN: I figure it out while I was blinded by the enigma and I learned that Frost and Aqua are connected for fusion.

Trixie: With it, you defeated Blakks gatler back at the winnowing!

YN: Exactly. Man I wish I knew it sooner but with everything going on, it didn't hit me until now.

Pronto: Precisely is why Pronto is here to help you remember.

Kord: So if you know the enigma slug is the key, does Eli know it.

YN: I don't know, but the enigma slug is with him. I just hope he'll figure it out before we get to lumino cavern.

Pronto: Then we must hurry, for Pronto shall save Eli Shane!

Eli POV

After I finally figured out the fusion thanks to enigma, I wasted no time to go and help my friends to stop Blakk. I've heard that Blakk is on his way to Lumino cavern and luckily the shadow clan gave me the quickest way to get there. I arrive just in time to stop Blakk before he could destroy Lumino.

Blakk: (Surprise.) Eli Shane!?

Eli: What can I say? Guess I'm still a constant of disappointment huh.

Blakk: No. This is my fault, and I always clean up my own mess.

Blakk signals his men to open fire but I jump out of the way to avoid the ghouls. I fired Banger at one of them before I got to the side of the train to avoid more ghouls. Suddenly I hear something ripped off and I see Blakk is holding the gatler before he starts firing ghouls. I wasted no time but to to the end of the train as Burpy chirps confusion.

Eli: My blaster still needs time to recharge before I can go double barrel again. But I can still do this!

I run towards the tunnel to get Blakk chase after me, but my plan backfired when Blakk fired his ghouls at the ceiling to block the tunnel. Luckily I fired my Geoshard slug to the ground to make a shield of crystal around me.

Blakk: How did you escape the shadow clan!?

Eli: Escape? They let me go. They're pretty cool guys once you get to know them.

Blakk: Keep your shadow clan secrets! They won't be doing you any good for much longer.

Blakk laughs as he rapidly fired his ghouls only to break the crystals shields.

Blakk: (Evily smile.) So now, one final time I ask. Any last words?

???: I do if I may.

3rd POV

They turn to see its YN holding his blaster.

YN: You're one crazy bastard!

This signal the rest of the Shane gang to join the fight.

Trixie: But we like to let our do the talking!

The Shane gang fire their slugs to save Eli and push them back. But they were quickly pushed back by Blakk firing his gatler at them. Luckily they find cover before Kord ask Eli a question.

Kord: So do you have a nice visit with the shadow clan?

Eli: I'll tell you about it later. Right now, I'm ready to go double barrel!

YN: You sure you got it this time?

Kord: Cuz last time you did that it shorted out all our slugs.

Eli: I don't have time to explain. You have to trust me!

YN: I trust Eli. Let's do this!

Eli: Give me cover YN!

YN: On it!

Eli sets up his blaster into double barrel mode as YN fired his frostcrawler slug to create a wall. Blakk quickly destroys it but the moment it was destroyed, it reveal Eli prepare to fire the fusion with Thresher and Forgesmelter.

Blakk fired mutlipe ghouls but the moment Eli fire his slugs.

Both Thresher and Forgesmelter created a powerful fusion.

The fusion didn't just knock the ghouls, but destroyed Blakks train by cutting it in half like a hot knive cutting the butter.

This shock everybody as Blakk escaped, but this was a victory for the Shane gang as they celebrate.

Kord: Man this baby really works! Now we got two that can out slug Blakks gatler!

YN: Now that's a real game changer we need.

Trixie: So the enigma slug showed you the fusion?

Eli: Yeah- Wait, how did you know?

YN: I kinda figured it out back when I was blind. But I'm glad you figured it out too. (Smiles.) Good work buddy.

YN pats the enigma slug head.

Eli: It'll take some practice with enigma to figure out all the fusion moves these slugs can do.

YN: Same here, I could really use his help for the fusions.

Eli: Hopefully someday I'll be as powerful as the unbeatable master.

Everyone: ....

Eli: Uh n-not that I'm saying I'm good as-

Kord: I know what you're saying I just have no idea what your thinking. You're nuts dude, you know that right?

YN: (Lightly punch Eli shoulder.) Well there's no way I'm letting you getting one step ahead of me. I'll be stronger way before you do.

Eli: (Laughs.) In you're dreams!

YN: One I'm willing to make it real!

They all laugh before they head back but YN turn around only to see the shadow clan are secretly watching from where they're hiding. When they made eye contact, YN nods as a thank you as they nods before vanishing. Blakks gatler may be powerful, but the Shane have their own weapon against Blakk. Hoping it'll be enough to end the fight in a short run.
