We see a kid running from blakk henchmen through the city while wearing a bandana mask. His name is YN LN, and he's 14 years old. After his dad disappearance, there's been a huge money problem in the family. His mother tried her best but her job was gone thanks to Blakk industries.

    Now YN is trying his best to find a better way to make money to help his family. Mostly with helping people in what he can by saving the slugs from those henchmen had from their cargo. Stealing was the easy part, but running away part is the hardest.

Henchmen: (Shouting.) Get back here kid!

2nd Henchmen: Split up and cut him off!

YN POV

I couldn't believe how easy it was to steal the slugs from them. With the amount they have in the cargo, they're definitely up to something. Right now I just gotta get away from them before they catch me.

But then one of them cut me off and I had to make a quick turn which unfortunately ended up to a dead end. I turn back just to see two of them blocking my way.

Henchmen: End of the line kid, nowhere to run.

I ready my blaster with Frost and aim at them.

YN: You're not taking these slugs to Blakk. They belong to everyone.

Two more of them arrive as they all draw their blasters ready.

2nd henchmen: Face it kid, you're outnumber and out slugs. So why don't you hand over them before we start blasting you?

I didn't want to take my chances, but there's no way I'm letting them take these slugs to Blakk. I fire Frost but one of them counter it with a rammstone slug to knock her away before it goes after me. I cover my eye until I hear another blaster fire, after a few seconds, I see four of them got stuck in a giant web. I was confused until I heard a girls voice.

???: Hey, climb over here before more of them comes.

I look up to see a girl with pink hair and wearing glasses. She uses her arachnet slugs to make a web of rope for me to help me climb up until I got to the roof.

YN: Thanks for the help.

Dana: No problem, but we should get out of here before there'll be more of them. Come on, I have a safe place close by.

As much as I didn't like it, there's no other option. Not while they're around looking for me and the slugs. Plus she did saved me from getting captured so there's that.

I follow her to her hiding place as we both got inside. Not gonna lie, looks a bit messy but at least its better than nothing.

???: Sorry about to mess, I don't get a lot of people coming around these days.

YN: Its fine, I mean its not like everyone can afford a nice home. Thanks to Blakk industry and his followers.

Dana: Dana by the way, Dana Por. And this is my partner slug.

A arachnet slug appear on her shoulder as Frost appear on mine too before I remove my mask.

YN: YN LN. And this is Frost, my partner slug. Nice to meet you.

Dana: (Surprise.) LN? As in DN LN?

YN: Yeah, that's my dad.

Dana: No way! He's like one of the sharpest slinger in Slugterra.

YN: Yeah...till one day he vanished...

Dana: Oh...sorry I didn't mean to-

YN: No, its fine. Not like you were responsible of his disappearance. I learned that it was Dr. Blakk who was responsible, at least how it started. Last thing I saw my dad was when he lost his arm. After that, he disappeared for a reason.

I take a deep sigh as I lean back, its been quiet until she breaks the silent.

Dana: Don't feel bad, I lost my dad too. He was in a duel against someone he thought of as a friend. But he betrayed my dad.

YN: That's...really sad. Dr Blakk?

Dana: No. Someone else.

YN: Oh...at least it wasn't Dr Blakk. For all I know he and his followers have been ruining people life including the slugs

Dana: Speaking of which, what were you doing from stealing those slugs from the cargo?

YN: They've been taking peoples slug a lot of times and load them on a cargo. Someone had to make a stand and take those slugs back. Though I am curious, why did you help me from those guys back there? Not all day someone helps you.

Dana: Oh uh, well I was walking by and I saw you were running away from them. When I followed from the rooftops I notice you were in dead end and it was 1 against 4. I couldn't just leave someone getting outnumbered. Plus my slug told me so.

YN: (Chuckles.) Thanks. I better get going, gotta get these slugs back to the people.

Dana: It was nice to meet you YN. Oh wait, here take this.

I turn around to see that she's handing me a arachnet slug.

Dana: You might need it in case I'm not there to save you again.

YN: (Smiles.) Thanks. I think I'll call you...Spidey.

Spidey smiles before Dana ask.

Dana: You name your slugs?

YN: Wouldn't hurt to name them. Plus they like it.

I put Spidey on my shoulder before I exit and leave with the slugs.

YN: Well, she was nice. Huh Frost?

Frost nod as she smile and we make our way out of the city before returning the slugs back to its people.

Time skip to next day.

I was back in the city and getting lunch while I was in a look out for any suspicious I spot. But so far Frost and I didn't spot anything going on.

YN: (Sigh.) Nothing going on around here Frost. Guess we should move on to the next-

???: Let me go!

I turn around to see it was Dana shouting while trying to get away the henchmen grasp, the same from yesterday was trying to capture her.

3rd POV

Henchmen: Give it up kid, I know it was you who helped that boy from yesterday.

Dana: I saved no one yesterday. Now let me go!

Henchmen: You think I'm stupid!? I know that face right when we were about to catch that kid!

Dana struggle to break free from his grip until they both heard a familiar voice.

???: Hey, remember this!?

He turn around only to have a web on his face before YN pulls his blaster attached to the web and knocks the henchmen down before recovering his slug.

YN: (To Dana.) Come on, more of them will come.

Dana nods before they run away from the scene. Soon they got away and hid to the alley.

Dana: I think we lost them. For now at least.

YN: This is my fault. If I didn't got you involved, then this should never happened to you.

Dana: Hey, if I didn't step up to save you, who knows what might've happen next. Besides, we all gotta look out for each other right?

YN: (Sigh.) Yeah.

Dana: (Smirk.) Nice shot by the way.

Dana lightly punch his shoulder.

YN: Wait a minute, if they know your faces, won't they find out about your hiding place?

Suddenly they heard an explosion close by and Dana was familiar to the location as her eyes widen.

Dana: Oh no!

Dana ran and YN followed as they arrive to her hiding place which was destroy by an grenuke slugs. 

YN: Oh no....

Dana slowly approaches to her hideout and fell on her knees, picking up a photo of her dad as YN place his hand on her shoulder and she look up at him with a sad look.

YN: I'm sorry...

Dana then looks around and realized something.

Dana: Wait, my slugs. I can't find them!

YN looks around and realize not a single slug is around.

YN: They must've taken most of your slugs!

Dana: Why would they only take my slugs?

YN: Same as yesterday. But we're gonna find them.

Dana: What?

YN: This happen because I dragged you in to this, this is the least I can do. We'll find them.

Dana wipe off her tears and nods before YN examine the area on what happened.

YN: They gathered the slugs and took them to the cargo before drove off with a mecha.

Dana: (Confused.) You got all that from one look at the hideout?

YN: You'd be surprised when you see a lot of tracks and the detail says everything.

Dana: Okay, but how are we gonna catch up to them?

YN: They're riding on mecha and we don't have one. Heck they could get on a express at any moment. We'll need a mecha to do this...

Dana: (Smirk.) I got an idea!

Time skip

YN: This was your idea!?

We see them both riding on a stolen mecha beast while Dana is driving and YN is riding behind her with his mask on.

Dana: (Smiles.) What? You said we needed a mecha to do this and now we're catching up to them. Plus this is fun!

YN: The part where you're driving the mecha beast or the part where you stole it?

Dana: (Smirk.) Would it make any different?

YN: As long as we save your slugs along with the other slugs, probably not.

Soon they stop only to see that Blakk henchmen are recently loading slugs in their cargo.

YN: Those must be your slugs, we gotta go right now before the train-

Suddenly the train horns and was about to leave. This made Dana more worried for her slugs.

Dana: Oh no...

YN: Okay, time for plan B but this is gonna be crazy.

Dana: Stopping the train?

YN: Nope getting on the train while it moves.

Dana: No time to think then!

Without a warning, Dana accelerate the mecha and they go directly towards the train. Soon the henchmens appear from the roof and begin to blast slugs at them while the duos try to evade them. YN fires back with Wrecker to knock two of them down as Dana fires a polero slug at the last one.

YN: Keep it steady Dana.

Dana nods as she gets closer for YN to jump on to the back of the train. YN manage to jump on before offers Dana a hand for her to jump in too.

YN: Trust me, I'll catch you!

Dana was hesitant at first but agrees before she steadily stand up on the mecha beast. The second the mecha lost its balance, Dana fell but YN caught her in the nick of time and pulls her up.

YN: You all right?

Dana: Yeah, thanks.

They then head to the back door of the train and takes a peek through the door, seeing there are guards in watching over the slugs.

Guard: So Dr Blakk wants these slugs for what now?

2nd Guard: I don't know, something about experimenting them for something.

Guard: Whatever it is, it better be worth it, after what we went through by taking these slugs.

2nd guard: Oh please, there's no way someone would reach us here. Even so, they'll never stand a chance because we'll be ready for anything.

YN: (Whispers.) Two guards armed. We might take them down if we can get close.

Dana: (Whispers.) I have an idea, try to distract them.

YN POV

I watch her climb up to the rooftop without saying anything else. Whatever's her plan, I'll have to distract them for her. Guess I'll have to do something very stupid by knocking the door before they open it.

2nd Guard: Hey, how did you get here!?

YN: Oh um, I left my wallet here somewhere in this train. So you guys don't mind if I pass through to find it?

Guard: You think we're stupid? Get lost kid!

YN: Oh come on pal, this'll save a lot of time for both of us if you guys help me out. Heck I'll even pay you for finding it.

The guards look at each other as I saw a trapdoor from the rooftop open to see its Dana before the guards answered.

Guard: How bout this, we'll find your wallet and you don't gotta pay us. Not money at least, but how bout your slugs?

I look at my slugs with a worried look.

YN: My slugs?

Guard: (Smirk.) Come on kid, they're just slugs. We'll let you go if you give us your slugs.

YN: (Sigh.) All of them?

2nd Guard: All of them.

YN: Alright then, my first slug is the Flatulorhinkus slug. Which should be here in about....now.

They were both confused until I quickly get out and shut the door right when Dana drop the slug and shut hers too before the Flatulorhinkus unleash the amount of smell that it made the guards banging the door from desperation. Once it was quiet inside, I open the door with my mask protecting me from the smell and see the guards were knock out. After that, I signal Dana that its clear for her to enter.

Dana: Man, it stinks here!

YN: This was your idea. But at least these guys are knocked out. Grab your slugs, we're busting all of them out of here.

She nods before getting her slugs while I drag the guards to the next cart.

Dana: What now?

I look outside only to see another train track is ahead.

YN: We're gonna have to disconnect this train cart. After that, we'll head straight to the next track up ahead.

Dana: I can do that. Just focus on switching the train tracks.

I nod before getting outside and climb up on the rooftop. Suddenly I see more guards being blasting slugs at me. I fire Chill to give me some cover from the guards, but I needed to act fast before switch of the tracks pass.

YN: Alright ace, let's do this!

Ace nods as I inspect the area, taking a moment to breath and plan it. Just as Dana disconnected the carts, I fire ace at the right guard before it bounce to the one next to him as ace flew away but bounce back before hitting the switch for the train tracks to change. Soon the cargo went to the next one and separate from the train as I catch ace.

YN: (Grin.) Good one ace!

Ace smiles but mine dropped when I saw the sign of danger and saw the track ends to the cliff.

YN: Yeesh, what's the point of this train tracks when it leads to the cliff...?

Ace and Frost just shrug as they don't know.

3rd POV

YN quickly get down and open the gate to warn Dana.

YN: Dana, we gotta stop the cart. Like right now!

Dana looks and see there's a cliff ahead. They got out and fire their arachnet slugs to attached their web towards the boulders to stop it but slowing down wasn't enough. YN head to the other side and fires his geoshard slug name Theo to create a shards of wall.

   Dana joins in and fires her Bubbaleone at the shards wall to use it as a airbag and thay is where the cart was successfully stop as they sat down to catch their breath.

Dana: (Breathe heavily.) Man, what a day.

YN: (Breathe heavily.) You and me both.

After they catch their breathe, they got off and open the cargo to release the slugs.

YN: Glad that was over. And that you got your slugs back.

Dana: So what are we gonna do with the rest of the slugs in the cargo?

YN: Let them go, they can find their way back to their friends.

They both grab and free the slugs as they all leave. After that, Dana just sit down while looking down before YN tries to comfort her.

YN: You know, after what we just went through, I think we make a pretty good team.

Dana: Yeah, too bad all my stuff were destroyed back at the hideout. It was the only place I had as a home.

YN: If you want, you can stay at my home for a little while until we can get a new home for you.

Dana: Thanks, but I don't think either of us can afford to buy a new home for myself.

YN: (Sigh.) Point taken. My mom's been doing her best to keep the roof above us but it wasn't enough thanks to Blakk industry.

Dana: A lot of things can happen in a bad way. Though I gotta admit, we wouldn't have met if it weren't for those guys.

YN: Yet now we're at dead end of our ropes. Unless some miracle just appeared-

The moment YN sat next to her by the cargo, their weight tilt the cargo enough for the chests to fall behind them. They look and see there's tons of gold coins in two chest. This made both of them speechless until Dana breaks it.

Dana: Sooooo....still think we can make a pretty good team?

YN: Tomorrow afternoon at my home?

Dana: Deal.

They both shake hands before grabbing the chests and heads back. Marking their first day of being team.

Time skip to tomorrow, YN POV

I yawn and head down stair as mom is sleeping from late night work. Since Dana and I took and split the money from the cargo, mom can finally rest easy knowing that the bills are already paid and that she got a better job, one working with Red Hook. I prep some food for my slugs before serving myself with a cereal.

YN: Now that we solved our own problems, we should help Dana.

The slugs look at me confused.

YN: What? She's a friend, friends gotta help each other out.

We finish eating our breakfast until I suddenly hear a knocking on the door. So I decided to go check to see who is up morning. Soon I see it was Dana at the door which got me confused as I open the door.

YN: Dana? I thought we were gonna meet in the afternoon.

Dana: (Shrugs.) I just thought coming here in the morning so we can go stop by the mall for some things.

YN: In the morning?

Dana: Yup. Besides, the mall closes early.

YN: Oh was that today?

Dana nods.

YN: Okay, come on in. I can make some breakfast if you and your slugs are hungry.

Dana: (Smiles.) Sweet, thanks.

Dana head to the table where my slugs are while I head to the kitchen to make breakfast for her. Just a quick Sunnyside eggs and a toasted bread for her.

Dana: Whoa, haven't had a good breakfast ever since my dad made.

YN: I'm gonna head to my room and change. While I'm at it, you can make yourself at home if you like.

Dana: Thanks.

Dana POV

YN heads upstairs while I finish my breakfast. After that, I take a look around his home and it really looked nice, reminds me of living with my dad. I found and pick up a picture of YNs family and Frost, they looked happy together.

   It must've been tough for him after his dads disappearance. But at least we share something in common, we both miss our dads. I place the picture back to where it was and my eyes suddenly caught something interest.

   It look to be like a comic book but way different. Out of curiosity, I take a look at it and it shows some woman wearing a black and white jumpsuit with a hoodie and some how swinging with a web? I begin reading it but I was more focus on the pictures and it was amazing of how can a girl do that.

   Just then an idea pop in my head and I notice my arachnet slug was on my shoulder while looking at it too. We both look at each other and smirk, knowing we're sharing the exact same idea until I notice YN.

Dana: Oh sorry! I didn't mean to- I was just curious of it and I take look and-

YN: Its fine, really. That uh...belong to my mom.

Dana: Really?

YN: I promise my mom I wouldn't tell anyone, but can you promise me you won't tell anyone in slugterra?

Dana: Okay.

YN: She's..... An artist, she wanted to try making something new from art but she was too embarrassed to show it to everyone. But she wanted to keep it as a reminder that art is everything that they see.

Dana: Oh. Well, embarrassing part always get the best of us huh?

YN: (Sarcasm.) Like asking a slug on a date? (Chuckles.) Well, I'm ready to go.

Dana: Alright, first stop: The mall.

YN: (Blushes.) W-wait, like a date!?

I see YN begins to blush until Frost cools him down and I couldn't help but giggle. 

Dana: More like hanging out. Come on, I want to get there early before it closes.

YN: All right. We can use the express.

Dana: The faster, the better.

YN nods as he grabs his backpack before we head out. Soon we got to the express and sat down. I couldn't help but to think of this idea I've had in my head ever since I've read the comic YN had. And I know where exactly I could get what I need.

Time skip through the mall, 3rd POV

After buying the things in the mall, they decided to leave but there was a lot of supplies to carry. Fortunately for them, YN had enough to buy his own mecha beast along with some couple things. With it, they can carry supplies to where they need to go. If that's not enough, they also brought some smoothies to drink during their traveling.

YN: Alright, now that we got everything we needed. All we need is to fine a new hideout.

Dana: Actually, I may have a right place. Its one of my dads secret hideout.

YN nods as they head to one if her dads secret hideout. They then arrive to a cave where its totally empty except for a few furnitures.

YN: Huh, this isn't bad. Even though it looks like someone hasn't been her for a long time.

Dana: (Smirk.) Just watch, won't make it better without a few touches.

They begin cleaning and turning it into a better hideout until Dana does the last touch by fires her two arachnets above to create a giant net of web along with a few around.

Dana: (Smirk.) Pretty cool right?

YN: Um, it's something. Looks dangerous too.

Dana: That's the point. In case someone ever sees it, they'll notice the webs and freak out from thinking its a giant spider.

YN: Huh, that's actually good. Bet even Dr Blakk would be too scared to come here.

Dana: (Chuckles.) You know, this is a good start of our friendship.

YN: Fighting bad guys, saving people and slugs.

Dana: Stealing their treasure.

YN: (Smirk.) Not a bad start, huh?

Dana: The best start.

They both happily shake hands, marking their first day of partnership.

Time skip, YN POV

Its been half a year since our first day of partnership. So far we've been doing great at working together, we even grew closer enough to be couples. We got to know who to trust and who to not including on who to watch out for. But for some reason I get this feeling that she's off about something, like we're not exactly looking at the same picture.

   But aside from that, as long as we split in half of whatever the price is, I guess we'll be good for the time being. Right now, I'm heading to Red Hook to deliver something from my mom. She said I can't look inside the package but its something important. I was on my way to the next cavern until Dana contacted me.

Dana: [YN, I need your help!]

YN: Whoa, slow down Dana. What's going on?

Dana: Its Stalker!

This cause my eyes to widen. Stalker was one of those who we had to watch out for. But the real problem was the delivery, I have to deliver this to Red Hook but my friends in trouble. This was a tough decision I had to make fast.

YN: Hang on Dana, I'm on my way!

I threw the package away since it'll slow me down from riding my mecha beast and I wasted no time to go after her. Red Hook won't forgive me, but I would never forgive myself if I leave my friends behind. Took a few minutes to arrive at a cavern filled with mushrooms as I got off before I hear blaster blasting nearing.

   I head there only to see it was Stalker firing slugs at Dana who's evading them while holding a chest. I fire Sarge near Stalker who quickly jumps out of the way before I join up with Dana.

YN: You alright?

Dana: Thanks to you.

YN: What did you do to make Stalker this mad?

Dana: Oh not much, just some slug he had in the chest.

YN: I'll blind him and we make a run for it.

Dana nods before our cover was blown up by a grenuke slug.

Stalker: No more games, give me back what's mine.

YN: Not today!

I fire Flash to blind Stalker with brightness, giving us the chance to run away.

YN: My mecha beast is close, its out best chance to get out of here- woah!

I was interrupted by a rope tying on my leg and I tried to grab on to something which was the chest Dana had. Soon the rope pulled me up and I accidentally drop the chest, but when the chest opened, it revealed rare crystals and gold coins which caused my eyes widen.

YN: Dana?

Before she could say anything, we hear slug hounds near and coming close. At first I thought she was gonna free me but it turns out she quickly grab the treasure and ran off which caught me off guard.

Dana: Sorry YN.

I tried to call her but she just left. I had to act quick and Frost manage to freeze the rope and I fell. The hounds arrive and I quickly blast Spidey to trap them with the web before I ran off.

   I couldn't believe it, Dana just took the treasure and left me behind. Soon I realize my mecha beast was gone and she was the one who took it. I manage to escape from Stalker, but a lot of things are going through my head, I couldn't think straight and I had to calm down.

   A lot just happened today and it wasn't good. Threw the package away, betraying Red Hook and my moms trust, worst of all, being back stabbed by my girlfriend. I was on my own now.

   Months have pass and I was still struggling to do things right. My mom got angry before I explained on what happened that day, in the end, she manage to understand and forgive me but Red Hook couldn't. I was still trying to help people and fighting bad guys, but this time I was on my own.

   I've spent most of the months going after her because her hideout might've been heavily guard by her traps. It was like a cat chasing rat. I decided to give up and wait until she shows up. After all, I really miss my old friends but I didn't want to tell them the whole story between me and Dana. Until now.

Apologies for the long wait, there's been a lot of distraction keeping me from writing.
