We see the Shane gang are chasing after Blakks henchmen who's carrying some kind of package on his back. However, this one seems to be skilled of running as they're running in the city until he got inside one of the buildings.

Eli: Pronto, what do you know about the place?

Pronto: Oh, you will never find a more foul and wretched establishment. But the soup is good. Also it is a dead end.

Eli: (Smirk.) That's what I wanted to hear. Everyone wait here, I'll go and flush him out.

Eli enters the building by himself.

YN: Uh, should've we tell him that's a bad idea?

Just then Eli runs out and tells them to run as it was a trap. They made a run for it as Blakk henchmens chase after them until they made it to the pipes where its a dead end. Fortunately for them, a stranger appear behind the pipes and makes an opening.

???: Follow me if you want to live.

Giving no other option, they do exactly what he said and made their way through the pipes before Pronto destroys it to slow them down. One of the henchmen shoots a ghoul at Eli but the stranger pushed him to save him.

Eli: Thanks, who are you?

Twist: Names twist.

Eli: Eli Shane.

YN: Save the introduction for later, we're not out of the woods yet.

Twist: (Nods.) Down here.

They keep moving before they set an ambush and successfully take down Blakk henchmens. All that remains is the main enforcer and trust me, he was very angry. They made a run until they arrive to the bridge.

Twist: Careful, this thing has no bottom.

The main enforcer arrived and cuts them off by throwing a pipe to the other side of the bridge to block their escape.

Twist: That was our only way out.

Eli: Any ideas?

YN: Just one.

YN pulls out his blaster until Twist stops him.

Twist: I got a better idea. Dazzle 'em Loki.

Twist blasted Loki who is a thugglet slug at him. Successfully fooling him by a second bridge which was an illusion as he fell down.

Twist: Huh, guess it does have a bottom.

YN: A thugglet slug? (Smiles.) Its nice to see another one.

Twist: Got one too?

YN: Yup, named him Blindsight.

Blindsight stand on YN shoulder as both slugs wave at each other.

Twist: He's my number one, aren't you Loki?

Loki nods happily.

Eli: I like that you name your slugs.

Twist: Well, "Hey you" seems kind of casual for guys that save my bacon on a regular basis. I mean this isn't my first run-in with Blakks goon squad. (Hears sirens.) They're regrouping, I've got a place nearby where we can chill until things cool down.

They nod as they follow Twist to his base. Soon they arrive and they enter a room with a table.

Twist: Sorry about the mess, I'm just staying here until my mansion is painted.

Eli: This place is great! A panoramic view, high ground advantage, I imagine you got the place rigged with booby traps in a secret bolt hole in case things go bad.

Twist: Wouldn't you?

YN: Pretty sure. They've done it once, but we'll be ready for the next.

Twist: So that dude you were chasing earlier, what's up with that?

Eli begins to explain that the henchmen is one of Blakks courier and the last piece of intel they needed for an operation. At first the other Shane gangs didn't trust Twist since they just met until YN convince them. Eli then explain the rest of the operation, a layout of ghoul depot.

   Their plan is to steal all those ghouls and cure them with the help of Doc. Less ghoul is the less fighting ones armed with ghouls. However, they have the layouts, but they don't exactly have its location to any of the depot.

YN: In other words, no location of the depot, no slug saving. Right now, we're at the end of our rope.

Kord: Yeah, thought we'd get one from the courier until that plan went sideways.

Twist: Good thing you met me then. Cause I know exactly where to find one.

Time skip, YN POV

Thanks to Twist, we got its location as we're looking at the place from far distance without getting caught.

Eli: Oh yeah, that is definitely one of them. Lightly guarded too.

YN: (Curious.) You knew about this location and its not heavily guarded, so why didn't you try to raid it?

Twist: I couldn't do it alone even if I wanted to. Even so, I couldn't cure the ghouls if it did got them out.

YN: Fair point.

Eli: We'll be in and out of this place in time for breakfast.

Twist: When you say we...?

Eli: I mean all of us. (Stands up.) What do you say, up for being a pain in Dr Blakks butt?

Twist: (Smirk.) Sounds fun, count me in.

Eli: Good, we regroup and male our move tomorrow. Blakk won't know what hit him.

They head back as I look at the base one last time. I don't know why, but my instinct tells me something bad is going down. Can't say I refuse to trust it, but for some reason this is getting easy, too easy.

Time skip to next day

We're back at the ghoul depot and we begin the operation. Right now I'm in my position at the hill with my longshot blaster for a better view to keep an eye out through my scope.

Eli: [Slug runner to bun head, we're in position.]

Trixie: [Bun head? I'm supposed to be Eagle eyes!]

Eli: [Sorry. Slug run to Outlaw, how are we looking.]

YN: Preferably choose Eagle eyes but hey, Trixie call it first. No, not picking up anyone in long range from the depot, its all clear. How bout you Eagle eyes?

Trixie: [Perimeter's clear, but there's four guards inside the first door. Go!]

I watch Eli, Twist, Kord, and Pronto make their way inside the depot. Surprisingly it was easy to get eyes inside.

Flash back

We were back where we were like yesterday as Eli and I look at the view with binoculars.

Eli: Patrol is right on time, this should be a piece of cake.

YN: All we need is get eyes inside the depot.

Twist: Leave it to me. Show time Loki.

Loki nods and uses his power to disguise himself as a ghoul which made us surprise.

Trixie: Man that's convincing. (To YN.) Can your thugglet do that?

YN: No, I wouldn't want to put him at risk even if I wanted to.

Twist: You don't have to if you need to. One thugglet slug is enough for this.

He loads Loki in his blaster before shooting him near the patrols. They saw Loki and tries to capture him, but he manage to evade and make his way inside. Soon we got eyes in the rooms with the cameras.

Twist: Video hackers planted, Loki's almost sneaky as me.

Trixie: Now their eyes are our eyes. (Chuckles.) Nice.

Eli: Nice of Blakk to use the same layout for all his depots, makes our job even easier.

We all take a look at the camera as see that Loki is okay as he winks.

Kord: Something is wrong with this...

Trixie: (Confused.) Wrong how?

Kord: I'm not sure, I can't put my finger on it but something.

Twist: I don't see anything wrong. How bout you Eli?

Eli: (Checks the cameras.) Everything looks green to me. But keep your eyes open people, I trust Kord's instincts.

YN: Honestly, I don't blame Kord for this one. I mean its weird to see a ghoul on our side. But then again, its just Loki in disguise.

Kord: Yeah, you're right. Its uh its probably nothing.

Twist: Loki's in place.

Eli: Let's move.

Flash back ends

It was really weird to see "a ghoul" is on our side, but I'm not complaining since we got the advantage to get inside without being caught. One thing for sure, we're gonna save those slugs.

YN: Outlaw to Slug run, how's everything doing inside?

Twist: [I've got the key card, we're in.]

Trixie: [Sweet, I'll get the mechas ready.]

YN: Be quick, it won't be long before they'll notice.

Eli: [Got it.]

Few minutes later I see Slug run exited with a cargo filled with ghouls as it made me smile.

But it was then dropped as I spotted a group of Blakks henchmen are coming and worst of all, Nacho fries- I mean Diablos Nacho.

YN: Outlaw to Slug run, Nacho is at the gate. I repeat, Nacho is at the gate!

Eli POV

I peek through the gate and see that YN is right.

Twist: What is it?

Eli: Not Trixie with the mechas. Is Diablos Nacho!

Kord: Nacho? I thought you said he'd be miles from here.

Twist: That's what my intel told me.

Eli: So much for the perfect plan.

Twist: We're not getting out of here without a fight, are we?

Pronto: Perhaps I can find another exit?

Eli: You've seen the blueprint, TT here is no other exit.

Twist: (Smirk.) Fight it is then.

Eli: I like your style. (To Kord and Pronto.) Wait for the signal and then run out slinging hard. Stay alive and get these ghoul safe.

Kord: Got it.

Pronto: Leave it to me.

Eli: YN, can you give us some cover?

YN: [Got it, but make it quick. He ain't gonna go down that easy.]

Eli: Okay guys, show time!

3rd POV

YN blast Flash to blind them as the Shane gang exit before Trixie arrived with their mechas.

Nacho: Blast them you fools!

Blakks henchmen start shooting ghouls at them until YN fires Wildvine to trap some of them.

YN: [Its now or never! Run!]

Trixie: This way!

Pronto: Wait, cover me!

Pronto tries to attached the cargo to his mecha as one of them blast a ghoul at him until Kord uses his mecha to knock it away. This gave Pronto enough time to attached the cargo and they escaped after Eli and Twist freeze Nacho leg so that he won't follow.

Eli: Nice shot Twist.

Twist: Likewise.

Eli: YN, we're out. But it won't be long before Nacho comes after us. We'll deal with him, cover the others for us.

YN: [I'm on my way.]

Yn POV

I wrap up and call my mecha by whistling. I grab on in a nick of time as it was speeding up. Once I catch up, I see my friends are having trouble from getting away from the henchmens.

YN: Heavy, Spidey, take them out!

I blast both Heavy and Spidey with my blasters as Heavy takes out their mechas and Spidey caught them with the webs while Pronto takes care of the ones in front of us.

Trixie: Thanks for the cover, YN.

YN: Thank me later, we gotta find to Eli and Twist fast.

They all nod as we move out. Soon we meet up with the rest of the gang as it appears that they manage to trap Nacho with a quicksand.

YN: Looks like it went smooth for you guys taking him down. Let's get going.

They got on Eli mecha and we leave, but suddenly Nacho blasted a hoprock ghoul at the cargo.

Trixie: Transport hit!

Kord: That thing's not gonna stay in one piece for long.

Eli: We can't afford a firefight. If one straight slug hits that pen, we're gonna have a nasty mess of loose ghouls. YN, give us some cover.

YN: On it, let's do it Theo!

I shoot the Geoshard name Theo to create a wall of crystals. That way Nacho won't shoot the cargo anymore.

YN: It won't hold for long but its enough to get away from his range.

Pronto: I know a hidden path. That is what I do you see. Point the way when all seems lost.

Time skip

We finally got away from Blakks follower reach thanks to Pronto.

Pronto: You see? We are safe and the ghouls are-

Suddenly the cargo tipped over and fell as all the ghouls escaped and scattered. 

Pronto: -Free!?

YN: Don't let them get away!

We fire arachnet slug to capture the ghouls.

But it wasn't enough.

Eli: There's no way we can web up all these ghouls.

Twist: I've got this guys. Loki, give me a oraboro special!

3rd POV

Twist blast Loki at the ghouls as he creates an illusion of a shadow clan.

All the ghouls were nervous seeing the shadow clan as it roars at them. This gave Eli the opportunity to use Doc to cure them.

YN: Whoa...

Eli: Awesome Loki. Okay Doc, time to do your stuff. This could take a while.

Eli blast Doc straight to the ghouls and cures every one of them.

Eli: Well don't doc, get some sleep. You earned it.

YN: Alright, one colony of ghouls cured. Good enough for a victory.

Eli: Agreed, let's head back.

Time skip

The Shane gang are back at the Shane base while Doc is getting some rest.

Eli: Twist, you and Loki were amazing today.

Twist: Slugs needed helped, I helped. No big deal.

Trixie: (Smiles.) Very big deal.

Eli: You should be one of us. You proved that today. You're Shane gang, you're family.

Twist: If it means more dinners like last night, count me in.

YN: Oh man, you should try my moms pie. They're the best. I'll go get some for you.

YN then heads out as he gets on his mecha.

Twist: He sure does like pie doesn't he? Serious though, thanks. Its been a long time since I felt like part of a family. Other than my slugs of course.

Eli: We're lucky to have you Twist. Also because the Shane gang is gonna need all the help it can get.

Kord: Oh, what do you have plan this time?

Eli begins to explain that raiding ghoul depots isn't enough to stop Dr Blakk. They'll need to stop them by stopping the source of it all.

Eli: What do you know about dark water Twist?

Twist: I've heard a few things. And if that's what you're going after, I know exactly how to do it. But I'm gonna have to talk to an old friend.

Eli: Any friend of yours is a friend of mine. Let's go.

Twist: Wish you could come along Eli, but he doesn't trust strangers. I've gotta do this solo.

Eli: I get it, see you soon then. Be safe.

Twist: Don't worry. But hey, maybe you can fill in YN about the plan once he comes back.

Eli nods as Twist leaves. Once he was on his own mecha, he leave the Shane base. But little did he know, someone was looking at him from a distance in the shadows.
