We drifted forth
Through the swarthy fog,
Feeling the cereus breeze
Gush against my chest;
Feeling the warm chill
Kiss upon my eyes.
Slowly, yet suddenly
She ceased.
And so did I.
She turned to me
And came forward.
She stood before me
Extremely close.
Her freezing breaths
Washed my face.
Her face pressed even closer.
I nearly felt her lips' taste.
Oh! It would've been
Lushly delicious
To taste it really.
