Kanan's Pov.

I wake up to find myself strapped to a torture table. I have no idea what happened. One second I was meditating, the next I was punched really hard in the head, causing me to pass out.

I groaned when I heard the cell door open. My torturer had arrived.

"You will tell me what you were doing in that field." Vader's robotic voice said. He stuck his hand out and probed my mind with the force. I groaned when he finished.

I was shocked for an hour. He cut me a few times with his saber. He ripped of my clothes, and put me in white shorts. I didn't get my new clothes back. After hours of pain, he finally stopped.

"He does not know anything. Throw him into the cold. He will die there." Vader commanded stormtroopers.

A few seconds later I was thrown from a shuttle onto a snowy, icy ground. I heard the ship take off and leave me to die.

"Great," I said to myself while shivering. "It's s-so cold."

I tried to find a cave or a shelter, but there was none. I settled down in the powder after about an hour of searching. I was shivering like mad. I looked through the force to see my entire body a pale blue color. I couldn't feel half of my body. Was I truly going to die here?

I was about to give up and lay my head down on the soft snow, when I heard a ship flying over head. The force told me it was an imperial shuttle. The people in it were a man and a female, but I couldn't tell who. The force only let me see so much.

I heard the shuttle land close by. I thought it was rescue. I stood on shaky and shivery legs. I slowly made my way there. The woman who was on the shuttle was running towards me. It was a good thing she was. I didn't make it to the shuttle. But the lady was there to catch me. Just when I was about to thank her darkness took over, but I heard one last word before I was fully enveloped in the blackness; "Kanan."
