In which an old friend of Bellamy Blake's, Malachai Nicholas, also sneaks onto the Dropship, but he's there for his best friends.

extended summary

Malachai Nicholas was well known on the Ark. His mother works with pharmaceuticals, that's what he planned on going in himself. But when he learned about the Ark sending 100 juvenile delinquents to the ground he got worried for the safety of his friends.

He wasn't the only one going to the ground. Kai's best friend Bellamy happened to be going down to the ground as well.

Now Kai is one of the few openly gay men on the Ark. He's always found Bellamy attractive. He just didn't have any idea that Bellamy feels the same way, the boy just can't admit it to himself.

So with the two down on the ground together watching over 100 teenagers, their love is simply slowburning.
