Mudfern padded out of her den,happy she was finally a warrior.Sliverfeather was eating a mouse,his tail twisted with Lightwillow's tail,both sharing a mouse.Mudfern slipped out of camp and spotted Mouseclaw grooming himself.Tigerfur,Mouseclaw's younger brother was talking to him.

Mudfern padded and saw Dustystar sitting below meeting rock.Mudfern slip of out of camp,she  strolled the forest to spot a vole,stalking it,she pounced on it and gave it a killing bite.Mudfern returned with vole and dropped on pile,the two kits came along and dragged the vole to nursery.Mudfern sighed and dropped to eat a robin.

"Let all cats old to catch prey enough gather here!"Dustystar yowled"Today two kits have reached six moons are ready to be apprenticed."Two kits from earlier,emerged from den and jumped with excitement."Frostkit,Until you earn your warrior name,You shall be known as Frostpaw,Mudfern I hope you pass your skills on this apprentice."Mudfern felt surprise and happy as she touch noses with Frostpaw."Cats of Sunclan,as you may know,I cannot live forever  I grow older each day,Time for a apprentice,I had chosen Cloverkit.Starclan has approved this in dream." Moonfrost fixed a gaze on her new apprentice."Frostpaw!Cloverpaw!"The clan yelled.Lightwillow padded with Sliverfeather"Wow!Great for you Mudfern!"Lightwillow purred,nuzzling Mudfern.Mudfern called her apprentice"Frostpaw!Let's go,we have to explore territory,so that you know everything."Frostpaw nodded as she followed Mudfern.Mudfern giggled as Frostpaw whipped nose up as she scented the Thunderpath and enemy clan's scent."That stinks!Real bad!"Frostpaw mewed her nose twitched with disgust.Mudfern nodded as they both return to camp,Sliverfeather padded to Mudfern,"Mudfern!Guess what!Lightwillow is expecting my kits!I am going to a father!"Sliverfeather purred,his chest puffed out.

"That great!"Mudfern yawned,Sliverfeather disappeared ahead of her as she curled up in her nest,Mudfern has to admit,she wanted love,to suckle kits   and a caring father.Mudfern could hear,Dustystar give mrrow of laughter as he joked with Tigerfur,The next day the sun was up as clan was murmuring and buzzing."Attack!!"A yowl broke out.Deathclan!Mudfern was facing Wolf,a gray she cat.Mudfern flung and slashed gray cat's flank.Frostpaw swiping away at  Spot,each swipe grew with fear and uncertainly,Mudfern didn't even get to train her properly yet!Mudfern dashed and crashed herself into Spot.Cats were hissing and spittling.Sliverfeather was clawing any enemy who dared go for nursery.

Mudfern turned,seeing Fox,recently made warrior.Fox flung himself at Mouseclaw,Fox put all his weight into his legs,his claws flew in air and dived in to slice Mouseclaw's neck,Mouseclaw yelped and kicked him off.Mouseclaw flashed her a sorrowful look,as Fox bit him in throat.Mouseclaw stopped battering the air and laid helpless,Fox left to fight Tigerfur.Tigerfur growled.Mudfern ran to Mouseclaw."M-mudfern...I have one wish..T-tigerfur loves you.He my brother...So please make him happy not for me but for him,and maybe for you"Mouseclaw coughed his words,more blood spilled from his throat. 

Mouseclaw's head fell as he died peacefully.Mudfern put her paw over his open eyes and closed them."May you have good hunting"Mudfern whispered."Deathclan Retreat! Retreat!!"Claw yowled,as enemies disappeared,Sunclan hissed at the fleeing cats."No!Mouseclaw,Don't go!"Tigerfur yowled.His brother was lifeless in front of him.Cloverpaw dabbed Rosemary on Mouseclaw's pelt,cats close to Mouseclaw sat and did vigil for Mouseclaw.As moon rose,The elders decided it was time for burial."Tigerfur...Will you be my mate?"Mudfern asked,Tigerfur looked surprise.Tigerfur nodded"Yes,My love is stronger than stars."Mudfern mewed happily as she nuzzled her mate
