Ethel POV

Yesterday I slept with someone for the first time.. I slept in the same bed as someone else and I felt safe and calm for the first time in my life. I have one of Damion's shirts on since I didn't bring any clothes. I wasn't expecting him to be my mate after all.

"Good morning Cia." He said in a deep raspy morning voice causing my wolf to purr at his words.

"Good morning Damion." I said smiling at him as I got up and went to the bathroom to deal with my hair putting it in a high pony tail before washing my face.

"Breakfast is ready." I heard Damion say before I opened the door.

"You can wear this cloth if you want. They belong to my little sister." He said handing me some ripped jeans and a plain grey crop top.

"Thanks." I said closing the door and putting the cloth on walking out of the bathroom just to see him there.

"You were waiting for me?" I asked him.

"Of course no one has started eating we're waiting for you." He said and my eyes widen.

"B-but why? No! Go eat!" I said freaking out and he just laughed at me.

"It's tradition for all the family to eat together. It's a wolf thing.. doesn't your family do it?" He asked and I looked away.

"I wouldn't know." I mumbled.

"What?" He said and I shook my head.

"Nothing. Let's go, don't want them waiting any longer." I said and he took my hand.

"Your parents will be coming soon with your stuff and to say goodbye." He said and I gave him a small smile.

"Alright." I said and he lead me to the dining room where his mom and dad were along with a blond girl that looked like Irina and a boy that had dark brown hair and green eyes. He was tan and muscular but not as much as Damion.

"Oh you made it." Said Irina and I smiled at her.

"I'm so sorry I didn't know you were all waiting for me." I said embarrassed as they looked at me weird.

"Doesn't your family wait for you to eat?" The girl asked.

"Not exactly." I said looking away.

"That's strange.. anyway the name's Aiden." Said the guy with green eyes.

"And I'm Bay. Damion's little sister. Aiden's my mate." Said the girl as I smiled at them.

"I'm Ethel Claire feel free to call me ether of those names." I said and they nodded.

"It's nice that my brother found himself a nice mate and not a bitchy one." Bay said and I smiled.

"Language." Said Irina glaring at her as she gave her a nervous smile.

"Sorry mom but it's true." She said and I smiled looking around. Is this how a family really was? How it was supposed to be?

"Hey Cia why don't we go for a run after we have breakfast and your parents drop your things off?" Damion asked and I nodded.

"That would be wonderful thank you." I said with a smile directed towards him.

"Alright then let's eat!" Said the king as the servants served our food to us before excusing themselves.

"So Ethel is it cool if I call you Rae?" Asked Bay as we all ate I looked at her strangely.

"What is it with you and changing the name Claire to another one with the letters?" I asked and she laughed.

"So you noticed?" She asked with a laugh.

"Well Damion did the same last night so yeah." I said.

"So he chose Cia?" Asked Aiden and I nodded.

"That's a nice name. Am I the only one missing to give you a nickname then?" He asked and I laughed.

"I guess so." I answered his question and he put a finger on his chin thinking. That's when I heard my phone ringing. I had already finished my food so I excused myself. I went to Damion's room where my phone was and answerd.

"Hey Dove." I said to the phone kinda nervous.

"We're waiting for you at the cafe where are you?" She asked and I gave her a nervous laugh.

"I'm two hours away from the cafe.." I said.

"What do you mean two hours?" She asked.

"Well I'm at-"

"Hey Cia your parents are here with your things." I heard Damion say from the door of the room.

"Who was that?!" I heard Dove on the phone.

"Oh sorry princess I didn't know you were on the phone. Who are you talking with?" Damion said walking in the room.

"It's my best friend." I said putting my phone on speaker.

"Well as I was saying Dove I'm at the kings house.." I said and Damion sat next to me putting his hand around my sholders.

"Wait.. you're at the castle?" She said as if thinking about it.

"Wait! Does that mean that the prince is actually your mate!?" She yelled on the phone as I pulled it away.

"Why is she so loud?" Asked Damion covering his ear.

"Is that the prince?! Oh my god!" She keeps squealing.

"Yes it is. My name is Damion Everett Cole. What may yours be?" He asked her.

"My name is Dove Brooks my prince." She said.

"Who are you talking to?" We heard from the other side and I knew it was Jax.

"Ethel finally found her mate!" Said Dove making me blush.

"Really? That's awesome we both know how much she's wanted to find her mate.." Jax said making me blush more and Damion to look at me amusement clear in his face.

"Is that so Cia?" He asked me and I looked away.

"I have things to do, talk to you later guys!" I said before ending the call and got up.

"I need to go get my things." I said but before I started to walk he pulled me back so that I was sitting on his lap our noses touching.

"The servants can take care of that. Now is it true that you've been looking for me for a long time?" He asked in a sexy voice as I bite my lip. He smirked and moved to my neck kissing it softly causing my wolf to growl in pleasure.

"Tell me.. is it true?" He asked again bitting softly.

"Mjm." I said lowly and just like that he was so close to my lips making my breath rigid.

"Then let me do this." He whispered before softly kissing my lips for the first time.
