Satoru: Don't give us those puppy dog eyes!

Me: It's weird when a dragon does it.

Veldora: If you have a way to get me out, I'd appreciate it. Th-This thing... I wouldn't have lasted another 100 years before my magic ran out. I keep losing more & more magicules...

Satoru: So that's why this cave is so rich in magicules, & there are so many valuable herbs & ore. What happens when your magic runs out?

Veldora: It's not a huge deal.

Me: It's not?

Veldora: I'll just die, that's all.

Satoru: I... I see... After all these years of isolation, you just die, huh? Khiry, we should try something.

Me: What should we try, then?

Satoru then looked at the dragon & the Imprisonment.

Satoru: Great Sage, use Predator to consume the Unlimited Imprisonment.

Satoru touches the Imprisonment as I walked towards them.

Satoru: I guess it won't be that easy.

Veldora: See? It's impossible.

Me: Isn't there anything we can do?

Great Sage: Examining the possibilities.

Veldora: Hey! Don't just keep talking to your own skill!

Satoru: Old man...

Great Sage: Examination completed. Possibilities include...

Satoru: Uh-huh. I see, I see. It's only a possibility, but... She says if we can analyze the Unlimited Imprisonment from both inside & out, we might be able to remove it.

Satoru: I see. I understand it. You want me to use my skills, Great Sage & Predator, to analyze Unlimited Imprisonment.

Me: Yes. While you do that, Veldora, I need you to destroy it from the inside. You'll be quarantined in his stomach, so you won't disappear. I will be helping Satoru on the outside.

Veldora is started laughing at the plan.

Veldora: That sounds interesting! Please, do it! I'll entrust my entirely to the both of you!

Satoru: Are you sure you want to believe us that easily?

Veldora: Of course! It sounds more fun to break through Unlimited Imprisonment together than to wait here alone until you come back!

Veldora: W-Wait a moment! Before we start, I'll give both of you a name.

Me: Huh?

Veldora: It will engrave onto our souls the fact that we are equals. It'll be what human call a "family name," but the name I give you will grant you divine protection. Both of you are still nameless, so you'll become a monster with a name.

Satoru: A monster with a name, huh?

Me: Shouldn't we keep our human names instead?

Satoru: That sounds good!

Veldora: Doesn't it? Give me a cool name!

Satoru: Same to you! A cool name... Let's see... The Storm Dragon, Veldora... Hey, Khiry. Can you think up a cool name?

Me: Hmm... Storm... Shazam...? Stormbringer...? Munroe? Wait! How about, "Tempest?"

Veldora: What?! Tempest, you say?!

Satoru & I quickly panicked.

Me: He don't like it!

Veldora: It sounds fantastic! As of today, I am Veldora Tempest!

Me: False alarm, he likes it.

Satoru: Nice save.

Veldora: & I will grant you the name "Rimuru" & you the name "Kirby."

Me: Wasn't expected that...

Satoru: Rimuru... Not bad.

Veldora then turn to me.

Me: Oh, sorry. I like it...

Veldora: Both of you will be Rimuru Tempest & Kirby Tempest!

Both of us started to glow as Satoru, now named Rimuru, is shaping.

Me(mind): The name "Kirby Tempest" had become engraved upon it.

Rimuru: I am... Rimuru Tempest.

Me: & I am... Kirby Tempest.

Veldora: Rimuru... Kirby...

Rimuru: Veldora Tempest... Okay, I'm going to eat you now. Break out of that Unlimited Imprisonment already!

Veldora: Leave it to me. I will see you face-to-face in not time!

Rimuru: All right! Unique skill: Predator!

Rimuru then started to use Predator as it cover all of Veldora. He started to devour Veldora to quickly as he started to shrink & return to normal.

Me: That ended too soon.

Rimuru: I was just talking with him a moment ago... Yes, please do it.

No POV
Rimuru(Narrated): A great tremor rocked the world on this day. The disappearance of the Storm Dragon Veldora, a Catastrophe-class monster, was confirmed. The cave where Veldora had been sealed was in the Great Forest of Jura. In the area of the Great Forest of Jura are several countries.

Kirby POV
I am carrying Rimuru over my head with my hands

Me(Narrated): The chaos in the surrounding countries since noticing. Of course, Rimuru & Kirby had no way to know this.

Me(Mind): I lost track of time since Rimuru ate Veldora.

I stopped to looked around as the both of us gobbled up the herbs & ores I came across & stored them in his body. Rimuru then started to swim while I, using Water Kirby, surf. Rimuru then used a water blade. I then show Rimuru the other 2 copy abilities, Mirror & Stone. I then carried Rimuru up to a cliff where we encountered a Black Serpent. Rimuru got scared as I put him down.

Me: Time to try out my other copy ability: Mirror!

I then wearing a violet and sky blue two-pointed hat, with a reflective front rim with blue edges and a gold and silver hexagonal gem at the crest, wields a blue wand with a square pyramid-shaped crystal. I then jump towards the serpent.

Me: Mirror Cut!

I swings my wand downward, hitting 3 tiles forward, two tiles upward, and one tile downward as it cut the serpent's head off.

Me: That was-

The serpent's head fell next to us.

Me: ...a bit stronger than I expected.

Rimuru: I see... We'll have to be careful who we use it on... Wait... If I use Predator to eat this snake & analyze it, wouldn't I be able to take its abilities?

Me: Well, we have learn abilities, so it would not hurt to tried.

Rimuru: Right! Eat it whole!

Me: Wait!

Rimuru then eat the whole serpent.

Rimuru: Beech!

Me: I thought you can't taste things.

Rimuru: But still! Blech!

Me: So, what ability did you get?

Rimuru: Poisonous Breath & Sense Heat Source. I can also mimic the Black Serpent.

Me: Nice! That could come in pretty handy.

Rimuru: Man, Predator sure is useful! Sorry about hogging it all to myself, Kirby.

Me: It's OK.

Rimuru: All right! Let's go acquire a lot more skills!

Rimuru & I then went to see other monster called Armorsaurus. Rimuru then mimic the Black Serpent.

Rimuru: Take this!

Rimuru use his Poisonous Breath on Armorsaurus, which is powerful enough to turn it inside out. I was horrified as Rimuru see this & got scared.

Rimuru: I'd better not use Poisonous Breath anymore...

We then continue running until an evil centipede tried to attack, but Rimuru then used water blade & cut the centipede body by body. I then use inhale to take a body. I then swallow it & acquired "Plasma" & "Spark." The Black Spider appeared next.

Rimuru: Water Blade! Water Blade! Water Blade! Water Blade!

Rimuru cut the black spider into pieces & I then swallowed one of them & acquired "Spider." I looked at the trench as Rimuru used his web to for both of us to swing. I then used the Spider ability as a purple bowler hat with a web-like pattern on the crown portion, six golden oval plates on its front to simulate spider eyes and three dark blue appendages with an indigo stripe on each side to simulate spider legs. I used my skill: Spring Shot to encase two Giant Bats. Rimuru killed one while I ate the other, acquired "Mike." Rimuru is testing his vocals as we are searching. After weeks searching, we have found a door.

Rimuru: This is probably the exit, right?

Me: Could be. Well, now what? Should we break it down?

The door is about open. I grabbed Rimuru & hided. I then peek to see what looks like three adventures.

Male adventure #1: It finally open. It's so rusty, the keyhole's falling apart.

Male adventure #2: That's no surprise. Nobody's come in here for 300 years.

Female adventure: We won't be attacked out of nowhere, right? Of course, if it cones to it, we can always use Escape...

Male adventure #1: All right, I'm gonna activate my Stealth Arts.

Rimuru & I then looked as the Male adventure clocked his fist & turn them invisible. They are walking with footstep visible.

Rimuru: He called that skill "Stealth"? You could peep all you wanted with that.

Me: Oh, that's nasty.

Rimuru: I'll have to make friends with him later!

Me: Rimuru, you pervert. Looks like they're gone. Come on.

Rimuru & I then exit the cave quickly before they noticed us. We are seeing sunlight.

Rimuru: We promise, after all. Right, Kirby?

Me: Right, Rimuru.

We then travel the road as we see birds flying over our head.

Rimuru: Ah, I haven't seen the outside in so long! The air tastes so sweet! Not that I can taste.

Me: I agree, except for the taste part.

Rimuru: Wait, you can taste?

Me: Of course. What? Do you think I swallowed without tasting it?

We are interrupted by a group of Goblins, armed with weapons. My thoughts on them are........not what I expected.

Goblin #1: Strong ones, do you have business here?

Rimuru(Telepathy): Strong ones?

Me(Telepathy): I think he meant us.

Rimuru(Telepathy): But how can I talked to them? I just need to produce sound waves carrying my thoughts?

Me(Telepathy): Worth a shot.

Rimuru(Telepathy): Okay!

Rimuru takes a deep breath.

Rimuru: Right, so, hello! I'm a slime, & my name is Rimuru! He's a creature, & his name is Kirby!

I bop Rimuru on his head.

Me: Tone it down, Rimuru!

I am shocked that I can speak normally.

Me: We're sorry about that. So did you need something?

Goblin #1: We sensed two powerful monsters, so we came here as a precaution.

Rimuru: I don't sense anything like that. Do you, Kirby?

Me: No.

Goblin #1: Surely you jest! Even if both of you us in that form, we won't be fooled!

Rimuru(Telepathy): I guess he really does mean us.

Me(Telepathy): I know that.

Goblin #1: Strong ones, having seen your power, we wish to ask a favor.

Me: What is the favor?

They then took us to see the elder of the Goblin Village. We are inside a house of the elder.

Elder Goblin: Welcome, visitor. I am the elder of this village.

Rimuru: HI, nice to meet you. So, what favor did you want to ask of us?

Both the first Goblin & the elder Goblin then nodded.

Elder Goblin: Have both of you noticed that monsters have been unusually active of late?

Rimuru: No...

Me: Not really...

Elder Goblin: Our God disappeared one month ago. As a result, monsters in the area have been continually harassing us.

Me(Telepathy): Their God?

Rimuru(Telepathy): Does he mean Veldora?

Me(Telepathy): The timing does fit.

Rimuru(Telepathy): I guess he was keeping monsters away?

Elder Goblin: We tried to fight them, but we lack the numbers...

Goblin #1: S-So we hoped you would...

Me: ...help you out, right?

Rimuru: But we're just a slime & creature. I doubt we can do all the things you expect of us.

Elder Goblin: Please, don't be modest

Both of us are confused.

Elder Goblin: A mere slime & creature would not emit such an intense aura. Both of you are quite a famous monster, are you not?

Rimuru & I: Aura?

Rimuru(Telepathy): Do you know what's he talking about?

Me(Telepathy): No... Great Sage, change our Magic Sense's perspective & let us look at ourselves.

Great Sage: Changing perspective.

We then see ourselves & our aura as my aura is as large as Rimuru's aura, but a different color.

Me: No wonder the elder is wiser.

Elder Goblin: But of course. Both of you cannot hide the formidable air about the both of you.

Rimuru: I see... So you figured it out. You guys show a lot of potential.

Rimuru & I then conceal our aura.

Me(Mind): We sucked our aura in.

Elder Goblin: Ah... Have both of you been testing us? It's fortunate that so many of us were frightened by your aura.

Rimuru: Y-Yeah, that's right! You've got potential if you can talk to us without fear!

Me(Mind): Potential? Come to think of it, I wonder if those human feels our aura?

Elder Goblin: Thank you so much. Ah, as for the favor we wish to ask...

Me(Narrated): According to the Goblins, wolf monsters, Direwolves, attacked them from the east, & many Goblins died in the ensuing battle. Apparently, Direwolves are so much more powerful than Goblins that it takes ten Goblins to even have a chance at beating one Direwolf, & there was one warrior among then with a name, who served as their guardian. Even that warriors was killed, leaving the village in peril.

Elder Goblin: There are about 100 Direwolves in total.

Rimuru: How many do we have?

Elder Goblin: Including females, we have about 60 who can fight.

Me: That's a pretty devastating difference in strength.

Rimuru: It's like an impossible video game. So did that Goblin warriors fight them knowing he couldn't win?

Elder Goblin: No... That warrior gave his life just retrieving information on the Direwolves for us. The warrior was my son, & his elder brother.

Rimuru: I see... Forgive me for asking that.

I then see the other Goblins.

Me: Elder...

Elder: Y-Yes?

Me: What would we get in return for helping this village? What can you guys give us?

Rimuru(Telepathy): Kirby...

Me(Telepathy): I'm not actually looking for compensation. I just need to put on a bit of a show.

Elder Goblin: W-We will offer you our loyalty! Please grant us your protection! If you do, we will swear our loyalty to the both of you!

Goblin #1: We will swear!

They both bowed to us as I have been thinking about it. My thoughts are interrupted from the sound of howling. The Goblins saw the Direwolves & started to panicked. Rimuru & I then looked at each other & nodded. I then picked Rimuru over my head & walked outside to the Goblins.

Rimuru: There's no need to fear. We're going to defeat them.

Elder Goblin: Y-You mean...

Rimuru: In lieu of the Storm Dragon Veldora, We, Rimuru & Kirby Tempest, will grant your wish!

The Goblins then bowed their heads, worshipping us.

Elder Goblin: Thank you very much. We are your loyal servants, great Rimuru & great Kirby!

Rimuru: You can count on us!

Me(Narrated): & that's how we became the Goblins' leaders, their guardians.

((DONE! RIMURU & KIRBY HAS AGREED TO HELP THE GOBLINS FIGHT OFF THE DIREWOLVES. WHAT IDEAS WOULD THEY HAVE FOR THEM? UNTIL THEN, STAY SHOCKING!!))
