Khushi's pov :

Next day in the morning l made two cups of green tea for me and Vatika. She was still thinking some thing very deeply.

" What happen Vatika? "

" Khushi whose parcel is kept on the side table? Is it yours? "

" No Vatika yesterday one courier man gave the 1302's parcel. It's Jay Verma's name board parcel. Handle with care, it's delicate "

" Oh so it's arrogant angry bird's parcel. Now let's play little juvenile game with him", Vatika said playfully. I was quite tensed. I don't want to create awkward situation between us.

" Don't be silly Vatika, let it be ", l tired to prune Vatika but she was very stubborn.

Vatika rang Mr. Jay Verma's door bell. One young guy opened the door, face mask was attached round on his nose till neck. I was not able to see the face clearly. The man opened the door and Vatika too the parcel and went inside the house. I too followed her.

" Hello arrogant man, here is your parcel. You wanted your name board right. Wait l will give you ", Vatika took the parcel and thrown it down. The glass name board smacked in the white marble floor and turned in to miniature particles.

Oh my god!! Please save Vatika from Jay's anger.

" So how are you feeling now Mr. Jay by seeing your name board in to small broken pieces? How dare you to shout at my friend? ", Vatika shouted at the man but that man started laughing loudly as if he got mad.

" I don't care", the man said and removed his face mask. He was not Jay but some other guy.

" You? ", Vatika was hell shocked.

" Yes Vatika oil and Shampoo, l am in Mumbai ", that guy smriked at Vatika. I guess they both know each other as they were behaving like old enemies.

" Akash l heard some hard sound, every thing is well? ", Jay came from his room and found us standing in the living room with broken name board. My mind was playing puzzle game. I have to clear all the rift between us.

" You both are here? ", Jay raised his eyebrows.

" Yeah.... Actually.... We had.... We had came.... to.... to.... return.... return your par..... parcel ", l was shivering and babbled every thing in hurry.

" Yup l can see that my parcel is no more ", l heard Jay's calm voice. He was not angry on us. What a miracle. I could feel Jay's hot gaze on me but l looked down. My heart was beating in a faster rate.

" Ms. Vatika you have to redeem for the compensation. You broked my best friend's name board ", Akash rendered while Vatika rolled her eyes.

" It's absolutely okay, no problem. In fact it was my mistake. Yesterday l shouldn't had talked in a harsh way with Khushi ", Jay said while looking at my deep eyes as if he was trying to read it. My name sounds so good from his mouth.

" I am sorry Ms Khushi, actually yesterday l was upset and l shouted on you", oh my god Jay apologized to me. Am l dreaming? I was only staring at him. Vatika pinched on my arm. I came back in the present from my dream world. It was so embarrassing. Jay chuckled at me.

" Am l forgiven? ", Jay asked mischievously. My mind was clogged with his words.

" Yeah.... Yeah ", l could only utter two words.

" So what about black coffee? ", Jay suggested.

" Sorry me and Khushi already had green tea in the early morning so we both are not interested to have any thing", Vatika pulled me by my hand towards the door but l couldn't move as my other hand was holded by some one else. Jay was holding my other hand. My heart was thumping so fiercely. His mere touch created havoc in my body.

" Please leave my hand Jay"

" No Khushi, if you have accepted my sorry then have breakfast with us. If you go in this way then l will think that you didn't forgave me ", Jay insisted.

" Hello Mr Jay let my friend Khushi fly and make her own path. Why you are forcing her? " , Vatika grimaced.

" The same thing goes with you too Vatika as right now you pulled your friend. Leave her hand and have breakfast with us", Akash showed his puppy face towards me. I couldn't say no to them.

" Okay we will have breakfast ", l said. An appreciated smile etched from Jay's face.

" Great then we both will cook pasta and juices for you both ", saying this Jay and Akash went inside the kitchen. Me and Vatika settled down on the dining table.

" Why did you agreed to have breakfast with them? ", Anger flashed on Vatika's face.

" How did you met Akash? Do you know him from earlier? ", l questioned back to Vatika.

" It's....First l asked you the question so you should answer my question ", Vatika refused to answer my questions. So l too automatically keep quite.

After few minutes later both the men brought a tray in which four glasses of juices were kept, gradually Jay brought four plates of pasta too.

" Please have it, Jay cooked especially for you", Akash said in a naughty way. I was feeling conscious as both the guys are looking at me.

" No.... No l think pasta is mainly cooked by Akash to impress some one", this time Jay smirked at Akash and they both looked at Vatika. Now l am sure there is some secret between Vatika and Akash which l need to find it out.

We all had delicious breakfast, l must say the boys are really good cook. We were contented. I went to washroom to clean my hands and mouth. Few water droplets were scattered on the white marble floor. I didn't saw it clearly. My leg got slipped. I was about to land down on the hard floor but some one saved me.

Jay's pov:

From yesterday l was feeling very feeling very guilty as l shouted on an innocent girl Khushi. She is truly epitome of beauty. I made a mental note to apologize her for my past mistake. I heard a ringing bell sound and smacked sound from living room. I found my two neighbours standing with my broken name board parcel. Akash was teasing Vatika but innocent girl Khushi was starting at me. She was afraid of me. I was feeling more guilty now. I requested them to have breakfast with us. In the kitchen Akash was pulling my legs but l didn't gave any damn to his nonsense talks. Khushi tasted the food, l was waiting for her response. Her beautiful smile said every thing. She went towards the washing area.

The leg got slipped. She was about to fall when my strong muscular arms saved her. I hold her soft waist and pulled her closer to me. I was holding her tightly. Our eyes locked in a perfect gaze and stared at each other for a couple of minutes. She started wiggling from my grip but my grip was quite strong. She stumbled in to my well toned and chiseled chest. Her eyes were still closed. Such a shy girl. Her cheeks turned in to red crimson colour. She was blushing too. How cute !!

" I.... Sorry..... Thank you.... I", I heard Khushi's shaking voice.

" It's okay ", l replied

" I think l should go now"

" Wait.... I mean now you both are going to stay in the flat? "

" No.... No one more girl is going to join us "

" Oh great "

" I think Ritika Singh is going to join us today. Actually she was supposed to come today in the morning but her flight got delayed "

" I think l heard this name Ritika Singh earlier some where ", l was uproared as l was sure l heard it earlier too.

" Oh it's okay. By the way Akash stays with you? "

" No Khushi, Akash stays with his beautiful family. I am missing my family. They stay in Pune ", my eyes were glittering.

" Who are all there in your family? "

" My dad, mom and younger sister Jayshree ", l said to Khushi.

" Nice, Jay and Jayshree. I am sure you guys enjoy your siblings relationship "

" Yeah of course although we fight so much but end of the day we are best buddies "

" That's great l am a single child ", Khushi snide.

" Just shut up man, just shut up, l am leaving ", We heard Vatika's shouting sound.

" Some thing wrong is happening between Vatika and Akash. I think we should go now", Khushi said and went towards the living room. I too followed her.

" What is happening here Akash, Vatika? Any thing serious? Why you guys are fighting? ", l asked them.

" You know..... He.... He..... Ki.... Ki.... ", Vatika was feeling shy while uttering some thing.

" What say every thing clearly ", Akash smirked.

" Guys what is happening, earlier Vatika you were shouting now you are feeling shy? ", Khushi was confused.

" Kiss..... I mean nothing......We should go", Vatika said shyly and pulled Khushi towards her.

" Bye Jay", Khushi said and went.

" What was Vatika trying to say? ", l asked to Akash.

" You are smart enough my best buddy ", Akash was grinning from ears to ears.

" She was trying to say some thing like kiss", l tired to guess but Akash chaffed at me.

Khushi's pov:

" What was that Vatika? "

" Nothing, me and Akash were doing nothing", Vatika said shyly making me baffled.

Time lapsed, it was already evening. We head a bell ringing sound. I opened the door and found a tall beautiful girl standing with her bags.

" Yes? "

" Hello this is Ritika Singh ", the girl replied by flipping her highlighted curly hairs.

" Oh please come, we were waiting for you "

" Vatika Jaisal too arrived before me?"

" Yeah please come inside "

I opened the door, me and Vitika were helping Ritika to take all the luggages inside.

" Need any help Ms. Khushi? ", l heard Jay's voice.

" No..... Thank you we will manage ", l replied coyly.

" As your wish", Jay said and was about to enter his flat but Ritika stopped him.

" I need your help Mr. Handsome ", Ritika winked her eyes. I must say Ritika is too much flirty girl.

" Huhh? Can you repeat what did you said ? I didn't heard your voice properly ", no bad even Jay was flirting back. This is completely another guy. Earlier he was angry bird now he is cold snow man.

" Thank you Jay but we don't need any help ", l said

" Khushi let it be, in fact l am elder than you both. You guys should listen to me. So this handsome man's name is Jay? ", Ritika raised her eyebrows.

" Yeah, he is our neighbour ", l drivel.

" Wow, that's good. I am so happy. Now l am sure, l am going to love this Mumbai city and Mumbai people ", Ritika gibberish.

" I feel like l saw you earlier. Did we ever met in the past? ", Jay babel to Ritika.

" May be yes or may be no but l liked you.... I mean l liked to meet you ", Ritika said while flipping her hairs behind her ears. I was feeling irritated and choleric. I was getting bad vibes from her side. I just wanted to trim her long hairs. Although she is few years elder than her but l was feeling jealous of her. She may be perfect from every aspect. She is tall, fair, good looking, smart, whatnot. Will Jay like her too? I think l should calm down my heart and brain.

I looked at Jay's eyes which was hypnotizing me but l went inside my room but l felt a pull from my other side.

" Come with me? ", l heard Jay's voice.

" Why? "

" I want to talk some thing important with you hence l need your help ", Jay said to him while l stared at him.
