Jay's pov:

"Mom it's", I was about to say something but mom cut me in middle.

Oh no mom assumption was going in the wrong direction.

"I know everything. I know that you and Khushi are in a relationship", mom was very contented and delighted. She was blooming with happiness.

"I thought to suprise you guys but here I only got suprise", mom joked.

It was actually partially. We didn't gave any suprise to mom but her sudden arrival and seeing us in this intimate position suprised us.

"Aunty, you are thinking wrong. Its not correct that we are not dating", Khushi tried to explain to mom.

"Uff!! Khushi beta, relax! I am not like other future mother-in-law. I am really cool and dashing. You are just like my daughter Jayshree", Mom patted Khushi's cheeks.

"Aunty I......", Khushi was about to speak but we heard door bell sound. There we found my younger sister Jayshree with tons of bag.

"Someone help me", Jayshree cried loud. I instantly went near to her and brought all bags from her hands she came near to mom.

"Mom you had keys of my house?", I asked to mom as she only opened the door when Khushi was lying on me.

"Yes Mr.Monkey", Jayshree said and rolled her eyes.

"Heyy don't call me Mr.Monkey, you silly donkey", I pulled Jayshree's hair pony.

Our cute bater was a fun show infront of mom and Khushi. They were smiling. Khushi was still standing while covering herself with a blanket.

"Who is this beautiful lady in black blanket?", Jayshree suddenly asked me. I was about to speak but mom only said her assumption.

"Your future sister-in-law", mom said coyly.

"Jay brother's girlfriend?"

"Yes your brother's girlfriend as well as neighbour"

"Aunty no, I mean aunty, you should take a rest. You had a long journey. I am leaving now", Khushi was trying to go but mom hold her hand.

"It was not at all long journey. Instead we are very happy. Atleast we got to see my mother daughter-in-law face got hurt. Please sit doen and take rest", Mom said softly to Khushi while her eyes turned into moist which confused my heart.

" Hey my child Khushi, why are you crying? ", mom asked to Khushi. She pulled her duppata end and cleaned the tear drops from Khushi's face.

" No.... Nothing ", Khushi said while looking towards the floor.

" Huuuhhhh Khushi beta tell me the truth. You are missing your mom? ", mom raised her eye brows while Khushi nodded.

" I am also like your mother ", mom said softly to Khushi. Her crying face changed in to happy one.

" Yeah "

" Good now stop crying ", l said to Khushi while she looked at me.

" Bhabhi l want to hear your love story", Jayshree demanded.

We don't have any love story to share then what l will explain to her.

" Bhai, bhabhi? ", Jayshree looked at us for the response. Suddenly l saw Khushi's cheeks turned in to beautiful red colour shade.

She was blushing? What made her to blush? Jayshree called Khushi as bhabhi hence she blushed?

On the spur of the moment, Khushi's phone rang. She picked up the phone. I raised my eye brows towards her.

" It is Vatika's call", Khushi said to us.

" Who is Vatika, Khushi bhabhi? ", again Jayshree called Khushi as bhabhi. Khushi blushed profusely by hearing the word bhabhi.

Ufff!! She looks sinfully sexy as well as beautiful with the crimson shade colour on her cheeks.

" Jayshree, Vatika is my good friend and my room mate ", Khushi smiled coyly.

" Yeah Vatika.... Great that you guys returned.... Yes l am coming. I am at his place.... Yup no worries..... Come fast, waiting for you both ", Khushi was talking with Vatika on phone.

" Janaki aunty l need to go. My friend is going to reach here very soon "

" Wait..... Wait Khushi, how did you got to know that my name is Janaki? Well I am sure Jay must have told you about it. I am very happy for you guys", mom hugged Khushi tightly and kissed on her forehead. Mom was very excited and her eyes were shining in happiness but unfortunately her assumptions were wrong. I need to correct her soon.

" Bye aunty, bye Jayshree l need to go ", Khushi said good bye to everyone except me. How rude!!

" Yeah bye, keep coming !! Khushi beta don't you think. You are forgetting some one to greet good bye " , mom teased me.

" Yes, bye Jay", Khushi said nervously.

Why was she nervous? I need to clear all the misunderstanding. I bid bye to her.

" What kind of boy friend you are Jay? Khushi's palm is hurt. How can she open her door gate? Help her", mom said while l nodded like a child.

I took the key of Khushi's flat from the left drawer and went towards Khushi's flat. Khushi was following me.

" Sorry Khushi, you no need to worry. I will clear all the misconstruction created by mom", l said to Khushi.

" It's okay, l didn't felt bad. In fact l was enjoying her antics. She is totally like my mom ", Khushi smiled.

" Well why were you blushing so much when my younger sister Jayshree was addressing you as sister in law? ", l pulled Khushi's leg.

" Was l blushing? Of course not ", Khushi rolled her eyes.

" Don't lie Ms. Khushi Agarwal to me. I am a business man. I can easily catch the lies ", l boost my self.

" Ohhhh Mr. Jay Verma don't praise your self so much ", Khushi said while l deemed at her.

" Okay.... Okay.... Fine.... I am telling you why l was smiling and blushing so much when your sister Jayshree called me as her sister in law. Actually.... The thing is..... It remind me of my college and school days ", Khushi said again in a blushing way.

" What? "

" Ah whenever l used to pass through my crush or the guy who used to had a crush on me, his friends used to address me as sister in law ", Khushi laughed while remembering her past memories which was nothing funny according to me.

" Did you find it funny? "

" Well Jay then tell me, whenever your friend used to pass from your side, didn't your friends teased your crush as sister in law? ", Khushi raised her eye brows as a question.

" I guess no or may be yes", l was scorching my head's hair.

" Yup, got the answer "

" Bye Khushi, take care. Give me a call whenever you want any kind of help".

" Yeah Jay, thanks for protecting me today "

" My pleasure, bye "

Khushi's pov:

Oh my god, Jay's mom is thinking me as her son's girl friend. I must say Janaki aunty is so cool and open minded. She already accepted me as her daughter in law. My thoughts came in to halt by hearing Vatika's voice.

" Babes we are back ", Vatika came and engulfed me in to tight hug.

" Aaaahhhhh", l screamed.

" What.... What happened, your hand bandage..... Khus are you okay? ", Vatika was worried for me.

" Yeah Vatika, l am good "

" But why bandage is dancing on your hand? ", Vatika was throwing daggers towards me through her eyes.

" I will explain every thing to you and Ritika, by the way where is she? "

" Ritika is coming. She is buying some cookies from the down lane grocery shop ", Vatika said in a monotonous tone.

After few minutes Ritika came l explained every details to her and Vatika. They were listening quietly. Of course l didn't disclosed mine and Jay's private scene or conversation to them.

" For a God sake Khushi, you are not a kid. I shouldn't leave you alone in the Mumbai ", Vatika was sad.

" Chill chill babes, l can understand. Try to understand, it was accident and Jay saved me "

" Yeah Khushi, this time you should thank that angry bird. He only saved you from the unconscious form", Vatika was thanking to Jay mentally.

" I knew it. My Jay is so helpful and kind hearted ", Ritika again started falling for Jay while l rolled my eyes. Of course my heart was burning in jealousy. Vatika smirked at me.

" Ritika are you feeling hungry? "

" Yes very much "

" I will cook tonight's dinner ", Vatika said and went towards the kitchen. Ritika came near to me and sat in front of me.

" What happen Ritika? "

" Tell me na, how did you and Jay sir enjoyed? Was it romantic as only you and he were alone in this flat? ", Ritika was very curious.

" I already said every thing earlier. There is nothing new news to share. Although we were alone. Jay only helped me ", l said directly to Ritika as l didn't wanted to share any personal thing with her.

" How boring, if l was at your place Khushi then l would directly propose to Jay", Ritika said dreamingly. Although l knew Jay would never accepted her as his soulmate or better half but my heart was feeling desirous.

" Ritika l am tired. I need to have a good sleep "

" What about dinner Khushi? "

" I am not hungry "

" Oh okay "

Next day started started with new hope, new strength, new thoughts. Every new day is a chance to make amends for the wrong turns we have made. It is a chance to get things right. It is a chance to live our best life.

Currently l am standing in front of my laptop, giving instructions to all the clients. My palm got bit healed still l was facing little difficulty while picking up few products.

Till now l didn't revealed to Vatika and Ritika that Jay's mom and younger sister came to Mumbai. If Ritika gets to know about it then she will make plan to impress Jay's mom which l truly don't want it, precisely my heart don't agreed to it but my brain wants me to move on from my past. I can't say any thing to any one regarding the past which used haunted me.

" Didi l am doing in a correct way? ", cute little Shanaya asked me.

" Yes cutie pie, you are doing great "

" What about me? ", an old grand ma asked me.

" Nice.... Amazing ", l was appreciating and was giving instructions through the on screen. Online mode had both advantages as well as disadvantages. Few clients were not keeping cameras on hence l couldn't see them. Few kids were very excited. My session got ended after one hour.

" Done with the yoga session? ", Ritika asked me.

" Yeah", l was quite tired.

" Here is your a cup of green tea. Have it, you may feel fresh ", Vatika my sweet best friend passed a cup to me. She personally cooked green tea for me. Today in the morning she changed my bandages. Both of my room mates are taking good care of me. Today Vatika didn't went to college with me and Ritika was very tired and exhausted hence she took one day more extra holiday. I was drinking my green tea suddenly we heard the bell ringing sound.

" Who might be now? ", Vatika was curious as cat. Same thing was happening with us too.

" Wait l will open the door ", Ritika said and opened the door. There was Janaki aunty standing near the door.

" Yes? How can l help you ? ", Ritika asked to Janaki aunty politely. She didn't knew that the lady who was standing in front of her was her boss's mother.

" Khushi is there? ", Janaki aunty asked to Ritika. Vatika and Ritika were feeling peculiar about it.

" Yes Janaki aunty, please come in ", l welcomed Jay's mom. She was holding one big box. Jayshree too came from behind while holding a big bowl. I was feeling queered.

" This is for you all ", Jayshree passed the bowl towards Ritika.

" Khushi do you know them? ", Vatika asked to me.

" Of course yes, she is Janaki aunty. She is non other than Jay's mother ", l said to them.
