I wrap my tendril around her wrist, when I see her reaching for the doorknob. "Let me go!" She demanded. "No." I reply back while tightening my grip. I see her trying to muffle back a scream. "LET ME GO!!" She screams as a bright light shines from her body. "AAHHH!" Splendor and I scream as the light temporarily blinds us. The light fades, all is silent and I see Renee passed out on the floor. I walk over to her cautiously. "Be careful!" Splendor whispers. "Duh," I respond to Splendor. I released my tendrils, as I carefully lift her. "If you need me, I'll be in the torture chamber, watching over Renee, trying to uncover the source of her powers." I carry Renee to the torture chamber.
