A blank, white room.

Almost an exact mirror of His face.
Maybe that's what they had tried to do when they had created Him... Or had they found Him like this? If so, why put Him in a room similar to His appearance as to calm Him?

No, it drove Him mad.

The only break from the still white walls were when people came in with white coats & white clipboards.
They would ask Him things & scribble things down. They liked Him, He wasn't so crazy, or aggressive or scared as the Others.
He only quietly obeyed what they told Him to do, & if it was something He need answer, no questions asked, He would think of the best possible outcome.

He would do it, because He had been raised with no other option.
This life, was the only thing He knew.

"Test #204 is complete."
He looked up at a female scientist, she smiled down at Him after writing something on her clipboard.
"Good boy."

She crouched down & stroked His cheek.
He didn't know what to quite call it the first few times this had happened, but He enjoyed the way she smiled & made Him feel safe, it was somewhat comforting - something He knew everyone in a place like this needed.

Yet, they both knew, that she wouldn't dare go near the other creatures, let alone care for them like she did with Him.
No, they weren't all the same, inside or out. Most creatures looked horrifying & were feral animals, a small handful were either bravely obedient or too scared to resist.
And here He was, stuck with no purpose other than to obey & do the simple tasks that these scientists required for Him, it made everyone's lives a little bit easier, & they liked Him far better than the rest because of it.

Soon, it was just the scientist & Him in the room.
"You know what to do, buddy."
The greying man nodded at Him.

He didn't mean to, but He emitted a deep growl as His head began to feel fuzzy, that growl soon turned into a scream as His mind & senses were blurred out by roaring static. He violently shook His head, trying to rid Himself of the horrible feel & noise, He didn't notice the other scientists came rushing back in & sedate Him.

Black swept over Him as He breathed again, knocked out cold, the silence returned to comfort Him.
