{ recap: Abbie was explaining how she felt about that Ichabod had to stay at her place}

*Ichabod's POV*

Oh Abbie.

She has honestly been too kind to me.

I was thinking on getting her a gift for doing all this for me, but since it's close to Christmas, I was thinking on waiting.

Oh, and I don't have one of those 'cars' yet.. So much of this new 'high tech' things- too many to keep track of..

"Ichabod, I'm home!" He heard Abbie say from the front door.

He walked over to the front door, smiling like a goof- happy to see her.

"Hello, Lieutenant! How have you been on this fine afternoon?" he said, still smiling.

*Abbie's POV*

Okay, don't think of me as a bad person when I say this, but I first thought he broke something.

THINGS IVE LEARNED ABOUT ICHABOD SINCE HES MOVED IN:

• whenever he breaks anything, he'll get this look on his face. Well, there are 2 looks he gets on his face.

First look: smiling like a goof, trying to get on my good side almost, (even though we both know he already is.)

Second look: panicked. That about sums it up. I also noticed that he has a habit of biting his lip when he was nervous.

Okay back on topic now.

Since he was doing one of those signs,

I thought he broke something/did something I wouldn't approve of.

For example,

When he dropped my iPad. (He was reading about George Washington, and another fact about him: he moves his lips as he reads.)

Luckily, I had the LifeProof case over it, but knowing Ichabod, he still freaked out.

He was still smiling.

"Okay, let's cut to the chase" I said.

He raised his eyebrows- I obviously threw him off with my comment.

"Did you break anything- anything at all?"

She didn't mean for it to come out that harsh, but what was he suppose to do, right?

"No, not that I know of.. Why do you ask?"

He said, a little hurt in his eyes.

"Never mind- nothing. I just asked because you have that look on your face"

"Is that a bad thing?" He ask innocently.

No. It was a great thing she thought. It made it easily for her to see if anything bad happened.

"No, not at all, crane; not at all.."

"Alrighty then.."
