*Abbie's POV*

"Okay, Time to open gifts!"

said Jenny.

Honestly, she was always the one that was more eager for opening presents- she still had a bit more kid in her then most of us.

"Alright, I'm coming!"

I said as I walked out of the kitchen, away from all of our coffee's.

I went over next to them to the Christmas tree and sat down.

"Okay," began Jenny "This year- instead of all of us picking out presents that we want to open up randomly, the other people who bought the presents are going to give you the ones to open."

Ichabod and Jenny glanced at each other, obviously knowing something I didn't.

"What?" I said looking at them.

"Nothing at all Miss Mills" he said with a smile.

"Ichabod..." I said giving him 'the look'

"I promise."

okay I'm not worried anymore.

I gave him a head nod and looked over at Jenny.

"Who's gonna open theirs first?"

"Let's just pull names out of a hat"

and so that's what we did.

first it was Jenny, who got a brand new Samsung because she shattered her other one the first month she got it.

Then Ichabod, who got an Kindle because he was always reading his novels on mine- not that it was a bad thing, she just wanted to have him experience it for himself- and maybe so he could get used to some of the technology from this generation.

"Abbie, it's your turn now." Jenny said.

"well obviously- who else is left to go?" I said while casting her a smile

"Ha ha ha,"

she said and bumped my shoulder.

"This is from Ichabod, by the way."

Ichabod lit up the room with his smile in her direction as he handed me the gift.

I looked down at his wrist,- the one that was handing me the box- where he usually always had his watch on him- but it wasn't there.

he probably just didn't have it on yet- in his defense it was still the morning and we were all in out Pajama's still.

The box was big. it was about 3 feet wide and 3 feet tall.

I took all the wrapping paper off of it and lifted the top of the box open.

there was another box.

I opened that up again- and another box.

I opened that box up and- like you probably guessed- was another box.

we all laughed as I continued to open them all- box from box from box.

I finally open the last box to find three little rectangular pieces of paper in it.

I reached in and picked them out of the box, while looking down to see what they said.

My breath caught in my throat.

Then, it was like I was having a flashback- kinda like they do in those cheesy movies, where the flashbacks are all dramatic and in black and white and stuff.

it was kinda like that.

I remembered when I was a kid, how my one dying wish was to go here with my parents- but it was always some excuse about how we didn't have the money or they had work or anything like that- anything they could come up with they would use.

then, when Jenny & I got older, they stopped the sugar coating. First only by a little, then all at once. They didn't give a crap, and they never did.

I looked over at Ichabod- in total shock. He was smiling like a kindergardener, it was so cute.

"Never," I said, in total shock still.

he stopped mid-smile.

"What do you mean-" he began.

"Never, in a million years. Never would I have dreamed that I would finally be able to go."

I said the sentence with no expression what-so-ever, I looked over to his confused face.

I was done messing with him I thought.

"I LOVE IT ICHABOD I LOVE IT!" I shouted as I flung myself at him and gave him a huge hug- obviously catching him off guard.

"I'm so happy you do!" he said with his kindergardener smile.

"Hey- I helped!" said Jenny.

I looked over at her

"Too bad- no hug for you."

I said with a smile as I gave her a huge hug too.

"How did you guys get these!?!!" I said smiling like an idiot.

"Well it was pretty easy really.."

they said and explained to me as I sat in awe, clenching the tickets like a 2 year old.

I loved them so much.

*Ichabod's POV*

"I think Miss Mills liked her gift."

I said to Jenny with the same smile I've worn all that day.

"You think Sherlock?"

she said with her usual Jenny-Like sarcasm.

"Yes I do, that's what I just said"

"Never mind.." she said with a chuckle.

"Okay guys! I already packed my bags and got everything ready!!"

Abbie shouted as she walked in the kitchen.

"Good! And we already told Irving that we would be leaving that time."

said Jenny

"This is gonna be awesome!!"

She said as she looked over at me and at my wrist as I shoved it in my pocket- but I was too late.

"Ichabod.. where's your watch..?"

I swallowed.

"I might've sold it so we could afford the tickets.."

Her eyes widened

"Ichabod Crane!! You didn't need to do that!!! That was your most prized possession- you've had that watch forever!!"

"I would rather loose the watch then loose you, Miss Mills."

I said with a small smile.

"Ichabod.. awe." she said with a smile in return and gave me another hug.

but then she turned right around again, her ponytail flying and almost hitting me in the face.

"and you! How did you let him give it away!!"

She said to Jenny exasperated.

"well he said he wanted to give it away so he could get money, and I thought why not?"

she sighed.

"I love you guys, you know that- right?"

she turned to us.

"Yes, yes we do, Abbie."

there was a bit of an awkward silence, until Jenny piped in.

"Ugh, you guys are so dramatic- who wants Chinese food? I have a coupon so.."

we all laughed and picked up the phone to order.
