Draco pov:
"Potter! What the fuck are you doing out here this late?" Draco was so startled he almost fell out of the tree, Potter seemed just as startled to see him there.

"I could ask the same of you."

"Nothing I do is any of your business Potter."

"You seem to have made what I do your business, why can't I do the same?" Potter had a smug look on his face as he said this.

"The difference is I don't look one second away from a breakdown Potter. It's not my fault you keep walking into my room instead of your own." Draco watched as Potter changed from looking smug to looking ashamed. Draco felt like someone was pressing on his chest when he saw that happen, he wanted it to stop.

"I went and talked to Sophie, she's seeing me tomorrow." Potter was looking toward the far away ground as he said this, his voice becoming softer and more vulnerable. The pressure on Draco's chest did not ease.

"I know that Potter, I heard you leave, you really are bad at being stealthy you know. Glad someone managed to get it through your head." Draco wasn't sure why the pressure on his chest increased as he said this. Maybe it had something to do with the light blush of embarrassment that Potter had across his face.

"Um, yeah, well, bye Malfoy." With that Potter turned and flew away, quickly picking up speed. Draco watched him go and when Ha-Potter looked back, just for a second, the weight of Draco's chest eased a little.

Harry pov:
Harry flew and flew, he flew around the castle until he was sure that nobody, especially Malfoy, could not hear him.

"I HATE HIM I HATE HIM I HATE HIM." Harry screamed into the cold air, his rage and embarrassment warming him up. Just as he thought Malfoy was starting to be somewhat nice to him, then he says things like that. He knew it shouldn't hurt him this much, they were the same jabs Malfoy had sent his way the past eight years, but now it was... different. The meant to be harmless insult made Harry's insides burn with embarrassment.

"Why do I feel like this? He's only Malfoy." Harry whispered into the stars.

Very short chapter, but it's something. Sorry I haven't been online this year. If I haven't responded to comments or messages I apologise, I've been busy and dealing with a lot. Thanks for understanding <3
