"So, what you're trying to tell me is that you have a room that only has pillows?" Luke asked, giggling when Ashton nodded but kept staring at the sky (the hazel-eyed boy was staring at him but he was so oblivious he didn't realise).

"I usually take naps there, it's really comforting if you turn on the heat! My favourite pillow is the purple one saying 'Gay slay', my grandma gave me for my birthday."

Luke laughed and groaned when Rosie climbed on top of him, stepping his stomach. He opened his eyes and saw she was trying to lick Ashton's hand.

Ashton giggled while played with her and took her off of Luke, laying the dog between them. Luke sat up and watched them, trying not to jump on top of Ashton because he was honestly cute it hurts.

He wonders if Ashton ever had a pet.

"Have you ever had a dog?" Ashton lifted his head up with a bright smile, letting the puppy run.

"Never, my dad always said it was a distraction and that I had to focus on kingdom stuff." Ashton shrugged "But I guess he was wrong because I distracted myself with other stuff?"

Luke bit his bottom lip and looked down, then at Ashton again "Falling in love with boys was a distraction?"

Ashton smirked and sat a bit closer to him "Other things, but I was never really in love with someone."

Luke blushed and nodded, sipping from his drink.

"Do you want me to show you something?" Ashton asked, giving Luke his atention.

"I don't want to see your dick..."

"No, I wouldn't show you that!"

"You wouldn't?"

"I mean, unless you want to... [MY FAV VINE EDIT]" They laughed "It's a place, my favourite place actually. I should have taken you there before."

Luke smiled and blushed, looking down and watching Ashton grab his hand to lead him to the place. They walked (with Rosie following them) through the woods on Luke's house direction but turned left instead of right, it was good because then he didn't have to face Lily, Parisa and Astale.

Maybe he should introduce Ashton to them sometime, they would be happy that he has a friend.

Luke stared at his and Ashton's intertwined fingers and smiled timidly, blushing when Ashton looked at him and caressed his hand with his thumb.

Eventually the boys reached a small wooden house. Ashton opened it with his keys and they stepped inside.

"Welcome to my sweet spot, no pun intended." He said, letting go of Luke's hand "I come here every summer to escape responsabilities and life things that I don't feel like dealing with in general."

Luke walked in front of him and stared at a picture. Ashton looked at least 16 in the picture, he was with a brown haired girl next to him. They were wearing fancy clothes.

"Was she your girlfriend?" He asked.

"My best friend, actually. Her name was Lydia and she was my date for a school dance, haven't seen her in a while."

"I never had a school dance."

"What do you mean?"

"I've been homeschooled my whole life so I didn't have those things." Luke shrugs "I wish I had though, seems fun."

Ashton smiled and put an arm around his waist, a completely friendly gesture.

"I'll make sure you have a stupid cliché dance to one song one day on a barely illuminated room with someone who loves you."

Luke chuckled, that would be impossible.
