So let's talk about falling in love with the process of achieving.

I'm signed up to a newsletter by Kris Selberg (highly recommend you seek him out on different social medias, he's got great thoughts.) And he talked about falling in love with the process, and it reminded me of a post I'd seen long ago.

The post mentioned how sometimes we keep working without seeing any results, so we get dejected and sad, however we must always remember that the very last thing that grows on a fruit tree is the fruit itself.

I also think it has to do with how we appear to others, like Kris had said, we want a great physique and I think it's so people would say 'oh, they work out and are healthy' or getting into a good school so people would think of you as intelligent. Unfortunately we all care about other's opinions more than we should...even though most of us work on not doing that, it's still there.

The thing that helped me most is my personal golden rule which is to achieve in silence. 

Achieve before you speak.

It really helps get my mind off of what people think, and instead focus on the task itself. I never share much about what I'm doing or trying to get because people judge too much, especially if you end up failing. And failing takes a toll on our minds, it's normal. But by doing everything silently, it gives you the comfort that no one would see the failure, which in a way motivates us to keep working towards it.

At least, that's how I think of it.
