With the honeymoon being over, Gourry and Lina both down went to the town of  Zephilia. Which was Lina's hometown. It was a peaceful place. It was the countryside outside with having green grass and villager-like things roaming around.

"Wow. Your home, Zephilia. It sure looks really beautiful, Lina." Gourry was at awe, seeing how there was a bunch of villagers walking around. He then saw a random guy carrying off a wooden wheelbarrow. "I can't wait to live here with you. As your husband."

"Say, we need to get ourselves a place. A house. I wonder if we have enough money for it? Or not?" asked Gourry, looking at the small bag of coins that he was holding in his hand.

"I'm going to go say hi to my family. To let them know that we're going to live here." said Lina. "We'll be staying at my old home temporarily as guests, just until we can save up some money to buy ourselves a house. Okay, Gourry? You got that?"

"Yeah, sure. I do." said Gourry, listening to what she had just said. "Sounds good to me."

"Now, let's go!" Lina took Gourry's hand, leading him to her parents' house where her mom and dad lived in with her big sister Luna Inverse. "Hey, Mom and Dad."

"Lina! And, your husband Gourry?" said Lina's mom. She hugged Lina quickly. "Lina! I've missed you so much."

"Oof!" Lina felt squished with her mom hugging her. "Mom! I've...Uh. Missed you, too. It hasn't even been that long since you saw me at my wedding. Last time, that is."

Her mom stopped hugging her. "I know. But you are my daughter, after all. How could I...not hug you?"

"What a surprise! What brings you both here in Zephilia?" asked Lina's dad. "You and Gourry?"

"Oh, it's just that." said Lina. "After me and Gourry got married, we both have decided to start our new life in Zephilia. We don't have a house, yet. But, we'll be staying here with you, Mom, and Luna. It's temporary, not permanent. Just until, we can get enough money to get ourselves a new home. Uh, okay? Mom and Dad? What do you think? Can we stay?"

"Sure, Lina. That's wonderful." said Mrs. Inverse.

"Mom." a girl with short hair walked into the room. "Dad. I'm about to head off to work now."

"Luna." said Lina. "Big sister?"

"Lina? Gourry?" Luna asked. "I didn't know you were visiting." she walked to the couple. "What are you doing here?"

"Umm." Lina stammered. "I was just telling Mom and Dad how me and Gourry have both decided to stay in Zephilia. To live here permanently, to start off our new life together."

"Wow. Really?" asked Luna. "This is so sudden."

"But we're just gonna be staying here at Mr. and Mrs. Inverse's house temporarily. Until, we can get some money, to get ourselves our own home together." said Gourry, chiming in the conversation. "We really won't be a bother. Me and Lina will try to find some jobs in the meanwhile."

"Yeah. Speaking of jobs." said Lina. "Is there... by chance, any new job openings for more waitresses, where you work at?" she asked Luna. "I don't mind working there with you."

"Actually there is. Lina. Come on, I'll show you." Luna grabbed Lina's wrist, leading her out the door.

"Okay, then." said Lina. "See you soon, Gourry." she said to Gourry before leaving the house.

"Woah. That was fast." said Gourry to himself. "Bye, Lina." he saw Lina leaving with Luna.

"Well, Mr. and Mrs. Inverse," Gourry gazed back at Lina's parents. "I'll be off now, walking outside in town. Trying to look for a job with my sense of skills." he said. "See ya!" he left to go walk alone outside the village front.

"Hmm? A job. A job. I've got to look for a job for myself." said Gourry, while he was in deep thinking.

His blue eyes then spotted a wooden sign to a building that stood out to him. "Yes! I've found it." he saw that it was some sort of shop that has mechanics in it, that fix broken things. "This is perfect! Since I already have a knowledge about fixing stuff. From having that experience with learning it from my dad. This should come in handy." he entered the shop.

Lina became a waitress for a job. She worked at the same restaurant as Luna. "So, how much do you get paid working here?"

"I get paid 100 coins an hour." said Luna. "This restaurant is usually super busy with many customers. So you have to work and move really fast. The pay is fine though. I almost have enough to buy a house for myself. I've been saving up my coins a lot."

"Wow. That's great." replied Lina. "Fast and steady. With it, being a busy place? Got it." said Lina, wearing a female-waitress uniform. "I can do anything that I set my mind to!"

"Good. Because you should not have a problem working here. Since I deal with many customers while moving fast, all the time." replied Luna. "Good luck on your first shift!" she walked away.
