After having dinner, Lina and Gourry both walked down to the large table to greet their family and friends. "Hi. We just want to check in, to see how everyone else is doing." said Lina.

"We're doing fine. This food is great." said Sylphiel, happily.

Zelgadis stood up from his seat and cleared his throat. "I think now, would be the perfect time for me to do my toast. Gourry and Lina, it's been great being friends with the both of you since the beginning of our travels. And it has been quite a sight, with seeing you two in union together. I say, congratulations on your new-found marriage."

"Hi, I'm Lina's big sister. I'm Luna Inverse." said Luna Inverse. "I just want to say.. Congratulations on your wedding, Lina. I'm so proud and happy for you as a sister. You have me and your family's blessing."

Next, was Amelia's toast, she stood up holding her glass cup. "I've been friends with Ms. Lina, as long as I can remember, like it was yesterday. I have always adored her sense of justice and freedom, that she had in common with me. Which is why I joined her on her crazy adventures with her and Mr. Gourry. I have always really looked up to Lina. I see her as a big sister to me. And, she is my role model that I take after. While I see Mr. Gourry as the big brother that I never had to protect me from danger and make sure that everything is okay."

She started to tear up in emotional tears. "So, I was really pleased with joy to find out that the two of you were finally going to get married. I was so happy for them. Because I always sensed that they both loved each other very much. I feel like their whole  love story is like a romantic fairy tale. And, now that's actually come true for them. I'm happy to see that you finally got your happyily ever-after. Your happy ending. Ms. Lina. And, Mr. Gourry." she raised her cup of red wine up. "CHEERS!"

As she said that, everyone else at the dinner tables raised up their champagne-glasses or wine-glasses up in the air. "CHEERS! To Lina and Gourry." was said in unison. They then drank down their wine or champagne.

After that, Amelia said, "Now, it's time to get this wedding party started!" Applause erupted after she stated those words.

Enchanting music started playing. They were hired musicians at the sidelines, playing cellos and violins. Even playing the piano. Most people stopped eating to go dance in the ballroom floor.

Lina and Gourry started dancing around at the center of the floor. Filia was the only one alone at the big table, since Gourry and Lina's family members, plus the rest of the gang were dancing with each other.

Amelia was dancing with Zelgadis. Martina with her husband Zangulus. Sylphiel was dancing alone, but soon joined in with a random boy in the background that offered a dance with her. She looked very pleased, and took his open hand, embracing the dance that they were in.

Filia was still sitting down at her seat by herself. She felt very lonely, so she kept drinking her glass cup filled with pure-red wine. "Oh, I'm not really good with this kind of stuff." she said to herself.

She was thinking about how she was a single mother, having to take care of her son Valgaav back at home. Thinking about that life of her's made her feel like she had an empty void in her heart. Like, something was missing in it. But, she kept drinking her sorrows away, trying to think of what that missing puzzle piece was.

Xellos spotted Filia drinking in sadness from the table. "Hey, Filia."

"Xellos. What do you want?" Filia rolled her eyes at Xellos. She was getting annoyed by his presence. She placed her glass cup down at the table.

"You seem down. Why don't you come and dance with me?" asked Xellos with a happy eyed expression, taking Filia's hand.

"Xellos." Filia felt herself blushing, with him touching her hand. "Uh...sure." she went to the dance floor to dance with him.

"Hey, Gourry and Lina." said Xellos, passing by the bride and groom dancing, while he was still dancing with Filia. "Are you two, having a blast? Having any fun?"

"Hi, Xellos." said Lina.

"Yes, we sure are." said Gourry, looking at Xellos while he was still dancing with Lina.

"Gourry." said Xellos. "Since you and Lina are now married. Husband and wife. Does that mean that you're both going to do it?" Xellos stopped dancing with Filia.

"Do what? Xellos?" said the confused-Gourry. "I have no idea what you're talking about?" he ended his dance with Lina right away.

Lina felt humiliated with Xellos trying to mention the topic of sex to Gourry since they had both became newly weds. But she felt more embarassed about it since he would say such a thing like that at her own wedding in public with guests and her family around. She blushed madly, "Xellos! Don't you dare!" she scolded Xellos. "Don't even bother mentioning that to Gourry! And, don't even try disrupting my wedding with him! Me and Amelia have both worked so hard to prepare this. And make sure that it is absolutely perfect."

She walked up more closely in front of Xellos, tugging on his shirt collar with her hand. "Just know that there will be a lot of hell to pay, if you even ruin what is considered to be 'as the most happiest day of my life'. I won't lose this to a mere mazoku, like you. I will even fire ball, you. Giga Slave, you. You name it. I can end it all for you, with using any of my spells if I wanted to." she clenched her teeth in anger.

"H-hey," Xellos put his hands up in defense. He got nervous that Lina was closing in on him. "Lina! Come on. We're friends. I would never do that to you." he chuckled as he sweatdropped, from having a nervous reaction.

He really didn't want to anger Lina. He wasn't looking for a fight with her on her wedding day. He decided that it was best for him to keep his mouth shut. "Plus with Gourry. We are all good buddies. Right? Come on now! I was just messing around. It was just for jokes." he put his hands down. "Please?"

Lina glared at him in anger. She looked at him up and down, seeing if there was anything suspicious about him. She stared at his face to see if he was displaying the emotions of pure honesty. "Fine, then. Xellos. We will not do this today."

"Phew," Xellos then sighed in relief. He whispered to himself. "That was a close one. I sure don't want to get on Lina's bad side for today."

"Now, if you'll excuse me." said Lina, making her way off of the dance floor. "Me and Gourry. Have something to do."

"We do?" asked Gourry, to Lina.

"Yeah? Remember, we both have to cut the cake now?" said Lina, to Gourry.

"Oh... right!~ Let's go, m'lady." Gourry put his arm out so that Lina can take it, to escort her towards the direction of the wedding cake.
