Jin held tightly to his robe as a guard dragged him towards the King's room. The loud ring of his doorbell awoke him, and when he went to it, the guard informed him that the King wanted to see him. Although he attempted to explain why he needed to change, the guard refused to allow it. It was a good thing that Jin had put on his robe before going to the door.

While going to the King's chamber, he was nervous because he had never gone to this side of the kingdom before. Despite supposedly living on the same side as the King, as he walked the corridor and turned several corners, he felt like he was in an unfamiliar space; it looked completely different from his normal surroundings. There were many lights everywhere, as well as a lot of guards, which only added to Jin's nervousness.

The guard, dragging him towards Jungkook's room, was tightly holding his arm, but he did not dare say anything since he felt almost certain that it was not as painful as what would come when he met the King. It was clear to him why the King wanted to see him, as Prince Jimin had come to his room when he told him he wasn't supposed to be there.

As they approached a door, the guard shoved Jin to the side, causing him to collide with the wall, and something pierced Jin's arm, causing him to wince in pain. As the guard glared at him, he squeezed his lips tightly together to remain silent.

After knocking gently against the door, the guard pulled Jin with him, shoved him forward as he went through the door while four guards stood on the other side. While Jin had anticipated the guard would follow him, he didn't. Instead, another guard motioned for him to follow him.

"Can you tell me your full name?" The guard asked as he walked with Jin towards the King's room.

Jin kept his eyes down and responded by giving the guard his full name.

Several other guards stood outside the King's door as the guard smiled, "Okay, you are the right person, now wait right here until the King calls you in."

When the guard was about to leave, something caught his eye, making him stop and ask, "you are bleeding. Did you hurt yourself?"

When Jin saw the blood on his robe, his eyes widened, seeing that he had injured his arm as he walked over to see the King. "I think I hurt my arm while I was walking with the other guard."

A gasp erupted among the other guards and the one looking at Jin, "h-how did that happen?"

"I hit my arm against the wall, I think."

"He was brought here by whom?" One of the main guards of the King, Minjae, asked, stepping forward.

"I believe it was Micah," Kai responded, lowering his head.

"Bring him here-" Minjae stopped talking as the door to the King's room opened, and the King stepped out, "why is he not in my room?"

Minjae bowed to the King, "We are sorry, our King, we were just about to inform you that he was here, but Kai saw that he was injured, so we are sorry."

When Jungkook grabbed Jin, he pulled him towards him and turned him to view the bloodstain on his robe. He untied the strings from Jin's robe, dragged it from him, and dropped it to the floor as he examined Jin's bleeding arm.

All the guards turned around quickly when they saw Jungkook pulling at Jin's robe string, not knowing if Jin was fully clothed under the robe and knowing they would be punished if they saw something they shouldn't have.

"How did your arm get hurt?" Enquiring firmly, Jungkook stared at Jin.

"I-I think I hurt it on a wall outside some door."

"How?"

As Jin's heart raced, he didn't want to cause a problem for the guard; he was sure that the guard hadn't intended to do what he had done. He may not have realized he was injured or noticed that he was hurt, "I collided with the wall."

"Did you have your eyes closed while you were walking?"

"No," Jin mumbled.

Jungkook looked at the guards outside his door, "would you please bring the guard who escorted Seokjin here to me."

Jin heard one of the guards say, "Right away, my King." After that, Jungkook requested, "bring me one of the doctors." Once again, another guard acknowledged the King and vanished.

"Get dressed in your robe."

Jin quickly bent and picked up his robe, putting it over his pajamas. A moment later, as he was tying a string to it, he overheard Jungkook asking one of the guards to hand him a weapon, and his eyes grew wide in surprise. As he pondered Jungkook's intentions, he wondered whether he would be hurt for not listening to him or for lying.

"Will you use a gun or a sword, my king?"

"My sword. Give it to me."

His hand started trembling, and he found himself staring at the floor as if he was about to pee. As he heard a plea, his attention shifted away to the door, and he glanced at the guard who had shoved him and thrown him against the wall earlier, pleading to the King.

In thinking about when the guard had arrived, how he arrived so quickly, and why he was kneeling, Jin was confused. Was he being punished because he got hurt? Jin thought it was impossible; he was a nobody; no guard of such power could be punished for his actions.

But after seeing the sword rising from King's hand, Jin screamed and wrapped his arms around his stomach as he fell to the floor, watching the guard's head roll from his body to the ground.

"Close the door." His eyes were taken away from the nightmare he had just experienced by the King's commands, and the door to where he was lying on the floor was closed.

The guards on the other side of the door stared at Jungkook as he dropped the sword onto the ground and looked around to all the rest, "Let this be a lesson to all of you, do not touch that which belongs to me."

A fearful bow descended on all the guards as they responded in unison.

"This needs to be cleaned up!" Jungkook roared and fled back into his room to rejoin Jin.

He entered the room to find Jin lying on the floor, hugging his knees to his chest while his body trembled.

"Get up!" Jungkook yelled at him.

"P-please, don't harm me in the same way." Jin expressed a plea, getting down on his knees in front of the King. Although he had feared the King before, he was now three times more terrified of him after what he had witnessed. It was a murder committed without a second thought. He was alive one minute; then he wasn't the next.

Jin was pulled up by Jungkook, who grasped his shoulder, "why not? Do you remember, when I ordered you not to let Jimin in, you disobeyed me?"

As Jungkook held Jin, he couldn't speak, and he was trembling. Surely the Prince would come to save him before the King could harm him.

"Do I sound like I'm talking to myself?"

Jin's eyes filled with tears as he looked at the King, "n-no, I'm sorry, and I won't do it again. Please, my King, let me have another chance. I promise never to do this again. Please do not let me die."

"It was your disobedience that caused the death of that guard, don't you know that?"

Jin gasped aloud, and he shook his head, "n-no-"

"Yes, you did! Had you not disobeyed my orders and not allowed Jimin into your room, he may still be alive."

The King saw Jin's body go limp after hearing this.

"Where is he?!"

Jin fluttered his eyes as he heard Jimin yell. He winced when he moved onto his injured arm after trying to turn. A glance at it, he notices it had a bandage on it, which is confusing since he has no recollection of it being wrapped. In the course of recalling the events of the previous night, he began to cry, knowing he had caused the death of someone.

"Get out of my room before I have you removed-"

"Shut the fuck up! Do you think that because you wear the title of a King, you own me? See if one of your fucking guards doesn't lose their hand by touching me ..." There was a moment of silence, and then Jin heard the prince scream, causing him to jump up from the bed without hesitation.

Moving towards the curtain, he pushed it aside and saw a man carrying Jimin out of the room while holding his hand over his mouth.

The King, slamming the door shut, says, "Thank you, Yoongi."

When Jin tried to turn and return to the bed, he wasn't quick enough.

"Good to see you awake, Seokjin. Come over here to me."

The sound of the King's voice made Jin swallow, and he slowly turned around. As he took slow steps towards the King, he hoped that the floor would magically open up and swallow him whole.

Jungkook became angry with Jin's slow steps, he marched over to him, and he grabbed hold of the injured arm, squeezing it, causing Jin to scream, which he ignored as he asked, "Why did you disobey my order?"

"I'm sorry, my King." Jin's eyes welled up with tears. The more Jungkook gripped his arm, the more painful it became.

"It wasn't an apology I asked for; it was why did you disobey my orders? Do you think I'm a joke?"

No, no, no, my King, you are not. As I told Prince Jimin what you said, he only checked on me and left after he told me about this. I had no idea he was visiting me, and I explained to him what you said. Neither did he stay."

"What made you open the door for him?"

Jin shook his head, "I didn't, he was there when I woke up, and I never left the bed when he was there."

Jungkook released his hold on Jin and pushed him slightly as he stepped away from him.

"So Jimin entered your room without your permission?"

"Y-yes, my King."

"Why?"

He was unsure if he was supposed to answer Jungkook's question, but as Jungkook glared at him, he said, "I don't know."

"You don't seem to know much about anything, do you?"

Obviously, the King thought Jin was stupid, but that he wasn't, for he had worked hard in school when he had the opportunity to attend. Jin looked down but did not reply; he wasn't sure what to say.

In response, Jungkook leaned closer to Jin and gripped him by his jaw, "the next time you disobey my orders or encourage Jimin's behavior that I explicitly warn you against, the punishment you receive will make you wish you were dead. Your presence here serves no purpose if you cannot listen to me! Your life does not belong to Jimin; it belongs to me. Do you understand?"

Jin could not speak due to Jungkook's firm hold on his jaw, so he tried to nod, but Jungkook shoved him towards the door, causing him to crash against it, causing him to suffer an injury to his back.

"Get out of my room and let one of the guards take you back to yours. Tomorrow you will not be allowed to leave your room, and no one, absolutely no one, is allowed to enter. If they do, you will suffer the same fate as Micah."
