"What do you wanna drink? I'm getting a beer for myself" I looked up at Leanne, whose face expressed she didn't knew how or when did she got herself on that party.
She was amusingly looking at Ben, who was dancing like a doofus to make a couple of girlies laugh.
"Oh, beer is just fine" she answered, and looked at me with his beautiful smile.
We stood next to a table full of alcohol bottles and red disposable cups, talking about how she became a silverfan. I wanted to know more about her life, specially since I felt so caught up in her sweet voice. All I wanted to do was to hear her talking, moving her amazingly kissable lips to me.
I felt like being heavely observed by a steady gaze, a gaze that always lit a fire inside of me. I knew Chris was nailing his brown chocolatey eyes on me, although I decided not to pay attention to him nor Benny tonight.
"So your best friend is all about Chris? Why isn't she here tonight? She could help him brighen up a bit, he really needs it" I said to her, thinking about some time with a nice chick would play nicely on him, even though he didn't seem interested in anyone around him.
"Yeah, I know," she laughed all adorably "she's not in town. Oh, well, such a shame, cause you guys really rocked tonight." There was a special spark in her eyes, a life force I couldn't let go.
I reached my hand, took a lock of her hair and slide it between my fingers. I could feel her heart beating faster, her cheeks turned rosy. Unbelievably cute.
"Well, I'm so glad you are here tonight, Leanne. I really am."
I inhaled deeply, getting lost in her mellow, smooth smell. My self-control was finally giving up tonight.
I slowly moved forward and placed my lips on hers. An incredible warmth filled my body, my mind and my soul. We were held together not only by our lips, but by a strange non-physical bond I couldn't understand at the moment. I really couldn't. All I wanted and could do was kissing her.
I wrapped one arm around her waist and with my other hand caressed her cheek down to her neck. Her lips were so delicate and soft as a beautiful petal shining with dew in a calm spring morning. We kissed so softly it sent shivers down my spine. I was having such intense emotions for this girl, just as if I knew her for so long.
Soon, the music, all the sound and the racket came back clearly to my ears when we broke our sweet kiss and look deeply at each other's eyes. Hers were like an infinite doorstep to a tender world.
We looked silently at each other for a couple of seconds, I carresed her hair and placed both of my hands in her waist, under her shirt. Both of her arms were on my shoulders, she had her hands on the back of my neck.
"Danny...I..." she was nervous as fuck, I could feel her soft shivering.
"You're so lovely, Leanne." My voice was barely a whisper, but we were so close to each other that she heard me despite the loud music surronding us.
I hugged her tightly and rested my head on one of her shoulders. My tousled honey hair fell on my face and I closed my eyes. The warmth of that hug not only embraced my body, but also my inside world.
After we finished our beers, Leanne said she needed a short trip to the dunny. I decided to wait for her around my sister. Ben was seriously busy talking non-stop and telling catchy jokes to two attractive girls. Somehow I felt if I ghosted around Chris, he was going to try to steal me away somewhere more private, so I held myself back.
"Here's my Han Brolo" my sister joked when she saw me approaching her. She was talking with a short blonde chick who I recognized from the hotel. I wondered what the fuck was she actually doing in the party.
"Whassup, sista?" I stretched my arm around her shoulders. "Won't be long here bothering ya, Leanne is going to be back soon" I said with a smile.
"Yeah, I see. So you're kicking both sides, huh?" she chuckled and took a long sip of her Hawaiian Stone Sour.
"Shut up, princess brat. Don't make fun of me in front of people." I couldn't contain my laugh. With my sister here, I felt at home. She always worked as an antidepressant on me. "So...care to tell me where the fuck is Katie? Cause Ben seems to be loose on the leash over there" I said pointing at Benny behind me with my thumb.
"Oh, she met with two Aussie girlfriends at the show and went to have some dinner."
"Is that so?" I replied, looking over my shoulder to see Ben's long silky hair swinging around.
I was jealous as fuck. I couldn't stand the sight of him interacting with those two girls instead of me. He should be laughing with me, flirting with me, holding my hand, wanting to kiss me."Wow, I can really be a possesive asshole sometimes" I thought to myself. I decided to smack that kind of thought outta my brain asap. I need to remember I was there to have fun, not to torture myself as the emotional sick bloke I always am.
Leanne came back and we spent the following two hours talking about stuff, our lives, our thoughts about life. I couldn't remember how long has it been since I had such a nice and transparent chat with a girl.
At the end of the night I was so happy and enamoured with her, that when she told me she had to be back at her home cause it was late, an indecent pout blurred my smile.
"I had the best night of my life, Dan" she said, almost weeping with emotion. Her beautiful and true smile didn't hesitate.
"It was so nice to meet you. Thank you for everything. For being so good with me. You're a beautiful person, Leanne."
I hugged her tightly against my body for a moment, and then leaned forward to kiss her lips for the last time that night. When our lips detached, she reached for my neck and gave me some fat ass hickey. I giggled, and my cheeks turned lightly red.
"Well, that's the kind of goodbye gift I actually like." I said laughing a bit. I didn't want her to go without one too, so I placed my lips on her neck and sucked the life out of her.
The night air was warm and smooth, but nothing compared to the hot, sweet rainbow swirl I had dancing on my chest, deep into my soul.
