We arrived at the cinema with Ben. I was so excited that I needed to be beaten out of me. I couldn't believe I actually managed to be on a date with him. Chris was still on my mind, cause I really couldn't puzzle out his behaviour back at the hotel that day. He didn't want to come to the movies with us and that was really odd. Although I had planned that evening for Ben and me to be together alone, I'd have happily agreed to Chris joining us. He is our friend, and we love him deeply. We are a tripode. His whole attitude was weird, but now I couldn't stop this precious moment to unravel Chris's mind. I was on a date with Ben, and I couldn't be more thrilled about it.

I bought tickets to Alien for the both of us. Ben got a big fat bucket of popcorn for us, but I also bought some M&Ms (my addiction) and the biggest bar of chocolate, cause God knows I can't live without chocolate in my life. We went into the cinema room and sat down. We were discussing how the movie is going to be, laughing at our comments and eating popcorn even before the movie actually started to play. Ben looked so happy and glad to be there with me. Inside my heart there was an explosion of joy. Around the middle part of the movie we were all out of popcorn and chocolate, and I could feel Ben's warm arm against mine on the arm rest. I watched his hand, placed sideways and slightly opened. A rush of courage traveled through my brain and slowly I took his hand on mine. I was embarrased so I nailed my eyes on the screen, feeling the soft skin of Ben's hand in mine. My heart pounded hard when I felt his hand gripping mine. I looked at him, and he was already looking at me, smiling.

Film ended and we went outside following the sea of people coming out of the theater.

"I really liked the film" Ben said, walking with both hands on his pockets. We were kinda quiet since the whole holding hands scenario.

"Yeah, it was cool. I think best thing about the movie is Winona Ryder. She's always such a  badass, I love her" I said, smiling. We stopped walking in the middle of the sidewalk and looked each other. "Hey, Ben...I really enjoyed being with you".

My face was burning, and my heart accelerated again. I could feel it deep inside me, there was something about to explode there. This is my moment. This is the perfect moment. It has to be now. Ben was looking at me with a soft steady gaze, and I took that as an invitation. I took his hand and got closer. I closed my eyes and slowly placed my lips on his, softly kissing him as he tighten the grip on my hand. I could feel his warm breathing on my face, seconds went by slowly. I wasn't even hearing the noise from the street, it was like if someone had turned off everything around me: there was only Ben and me.

We broke the kiss and look at each other deeply in the eyes, I could feel Ben's hand was sweaty. Unexpectedly, Ben crashed his lips against mine again and leaned forward against my body. I hugged him, running my fingers in his smooth hair. World could've gone to hell around us, but we didn't care. I didn't care. I was finally living my impossible dream with the one person I love.
