Samael
"You're not going to get away from me this time," Kritanta said, running towards her target.
His name was Samael Mallory. A fellow assassin in the company they both worked at. Mason Verger was their boss. He was a well known man, breeding and selling pigs by day and ordering assassinations at night. People came to him to slaughter a pig or a human. He was your man.
Killing was his thing. He enjoyed stabbing pigs to see how thick their skin was. Their death amazed him. That was when the game began. One day he told one of his workers to kill someone. It was not out of the ordinary, he did run an assassnition company when the moon shined. But only after the killing was completed did his workers realize that he ordered someone to kill a fellow assasstion.
They were new so many people didn't know them, but news spread fast in their monthly party hosted by non other by Mr. Verger himself. He made a whole announcement about it, right after freshly roasted pig was served. He said, "this pig was slaughtered for not being strong so none of them were killed for not surviving the other."
This sat with the people making them much uneasy. Some of them wanted to quit and yelled at him for forcing murder upon them. But Mason only responded with, "Murder? Oh, what a funny word. I should add it to my vocabulary." Then Mason glared at the assassin, pushing his head followed to intensely the look "Is not what you do now murder?" Mason with both of his hands did the sign for quotation marks, then stood straight and tall "Correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't killing another human being murder!?" Mason's voice boomed in the corrugation. No one dared to correct the man that was their boss. "I'm just trying to make the world a better place. Killing the killers. Is that not what we do? But you seem to have forgotten that you yourselves are killers too."
"Because you forced us too!" one of them finally spoke. He was a young man. A new recruit, probably in the same one as the person who was killed. He had short black hair and blue eyes, his skin was tan.
It was true Mason Verger had forced them to join and to kill. He trained them on different weapons and how to be stealthy. How to kill. They had to do all of those because if they didn't he would feed them to his man eating pigs. One of his newest breeds.
"Don't speak out of turn, Samael!" Mason yelled. "I know that it might be a little hard for you to learn since you haven't been here that long, but you will show respect to me."
Samael quickly found his seat and disappeared in the crowd. The rest of their dinner took place in silence. Only Mason Verger's maniacal laughter rang through the hall as people had normal conversation with him, saying nothing to laugh about.
The pig tastes like a corpse that month.

Samael was running across roofs. The singles were wet and getting drenched in the pouring rain that hit them like bullets. Samael was armed with throwing knives. The sharp blades looked like diamonds with circles at the end. They glistened in the moonlight, water running off them.
Samael looked back at Kritanta. Ths game of cat and mouse had been going on for months, way longer than was expected of the cruel game.
Though Samael was a newer recruit he was smarter than his peers and even of Kritanta who he learned was one of the originals, the people Mason first converted.
But looking back would be his downfall, quite lilertaly as Samael slipped and rolled down the roof. Samael fell a little over the side but managed to catch the edge. He was two floors above the ground with his legs dangling down.
Kritanta didn't notice his fall, because of the rain, but she did notice the absence of noise.
