Spotted's pov

I wake up to the feeling of someone carrying me. The coldness of the air caught me off guard and i let out a surprised meow. I feel them put me down and i immediately freak out as a cold, white substance gives out slightly under my weight. " Calm down Spottedkit, it's just snow" i look up and see Frostpaw, i was kinda hard to make out his light gray, most white colored pelt in the snow. "It's cold" i say shivering, luckily my pelt's still fluffy, giving extra warmth. "Want to walk side by side like Jayshard and Splashleaf to keep warm?" i turn and see the two warrior walking together for warmth. "Sure" i walk side by side with Frostpaw, soon getting warm. As we continued the snow got thicker, making the journey harder. "Lets stop here and wait for the snow to clear up" Slaightfur says we start digging holes in the snow to sleep in to keep warm. Arrow walks to my side, sitting down beside me, he watches as the others dig holes to sleep in. "Aren't you going to make one?" i ask. "No, i'm going to hunt with Rusket, Smokepatch, Littlepaw, and Sparkeye". "Oh". "Want to help, we could use your hunting skills" i nod and follow him to the others. We start walking around, soon coming to an abandoned Twoleg nest, a few birds eating something inside. Crouching, i stalk forward, Arrow at my side, at the same time we pounce, watching at least four birds, the rest fly up and scatter as we carry the ones we killed back to the others. "Hey its the bird-hunting duo" Rusket says rolling her eyes. "Yous just mad you cant hunt like us" i say causing her to roll her eyes fondly. We hunt enough for everyone to have something to ear before carrying it back to camp, I curl up beside Splashleaf while she talks to Smokepatch and cleans Jadekit and I for our apprentice ceremony. "Jadekit stop squirming around" Splashleaf scolds as Jadekit tries to escape them. "Stop it Mom, i'm fine, i doubt Moonfur did this to Tigerpaw and Frostpaw!" Jadekit complains. "Thats because they escaped her grip and went out looking like a bunch of porcupines!" Smokepatch says and continues fixing my fur. "See Jadekit it's just that easy if you just stop moving" i say, earning a low growl and huff from Jadekit. "It's not like were in a rush, Tigerpaw is becoming a warrior first" Shineclaw says coming into our little warm hole. "What about Frostpaw?" i ask. "He wants to train more so he's staying an apprentice, but Tigerpaw and Frostpaw are close brothers, and always will be" she say happily. "Tigerpaw, i believe you are ready to become a warrior, Sparkeye has said that you are ready" i jump out of the hole and look at the small ceremony. "From this day forward you shall be known as Tigerleap" everyone cheers out Tigerleap's new name. "Now, two kits are ready to become apprentices, Jadekit step forward, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Jadepaw. Your mentor will be Shineclaw. I hope Shineclaw will pass down all she knows on to you. Shineclaw you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from Snakeheart, and you have shown yourself to be loyal and forgiving. You will be the mentor of Jadepaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to him" Jadepaw runs and touched noses with Shineclaw, but his tail tip was moving side to side, his way of showing annoyance. "Spottedkit, step forward" I ignore my brother's behavior and stop forward. " You have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Spottedpaw. Your mentor will be Casper. I hope Casper will pass down all he knows on to you. Casper, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from everyone here, and you have shown yourself to be loyal and strong. You will be the mentor of Spottedpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to her" Everyone cheers our names as i touch noses with Casper, his eyes shining with pride.
