Tiger's pov

I was talking with Featherwind, ignoring the small bodies running around our paws, i smiled as Antkit tackled Snakekit, Smokekit let out a gasp, Beekit just giggled. "Mouse-brain, you were suppose to duck" she meowed to Snakekit who pushed Antkit off. "It's not like he'd do much, he's as big as we are" he meowed. "Kits, calm down and go play" Featherwind meowed. I watched them run off. "Their so small, they haven't even seen Blade yet" she meowed. "Blade's their brother, they'll love him" i meowed, resting my tail over hers. It was a sweet moment until we heard Jaystar yowl, everyone gathered around. "Smokeclan scent has been found behind the nursery, i'm sending three patrols to look around the territory" Featherwind gasped and quickly started gathering her kits. Flametwig was in the nursery beside Splashleaf, they both protected Archkit, Antkit, and Oakkit sense Flametwig's kits wouldn't arrive for another few moons. Stonepaw and Twigpaw broke their battle training and found their mentors, it was sad to see Acornsky was almost as small as Twigpaw, it made me realize how small our warrior are. I watched as Willowbreeze and Wolfspirit went back to back as a defense, Dapplepelt, Aziella, Marshpatch and Raintail were in a line in front of the nursery. Acornsky, Lakestripe, Spottedfern, and Casper were gathering the remaining cats to listen to Stormgaze. "What are you doing mouse-brain, we have to get going" i turn and see my brother. "Well what are you doing" i meow. "I'm going on a patrol with Sparkeye, Jaystar, Leopardfang, Spottedfern, Stonepaw and you" he meowed. "oh" i followed Frostwing and we headed out. "After all we did for them, they come back" Spottedfern hiss. "Why do we have such a bad history with them?" Stonepaw asks. "It's- a long story" Frostwing meows. "i'm sure Twigpaw will tell you one day if you ask" Spottedfern meowed. We continued to get farther into the forest, soon the floor was a mixture of leaves and pine needles, i looked up when hearing a hiss. "Tigerleap, what happened?" Jaystar asks, my ears flattened. "Nothing, Leopardfang just got a few needles in her paw" i meow, watching the she-cat pick the needles out. "What, they hurt!" she meowed. "Of course they hurt, their pine needles, we need to talk to Smokestar about him leaving pine needles on our side of the territories" Frostwing meows as we continued walking. Soon we ran into all the other patrols and we all came up with nothing, that confused us because the scent had been fresh when they found it, what happened? "Wait, when was the last time we checked in with the camp?" Wolfspirit meowed. We all ran back to camp to see it was being under attack, I was quick to Owlturf, he raked his claws against my cheek, hissing when blood splattered over his white fur. i bit into his shoulder, but he shook me off swiping at my paws and chest, he tackled me from the side, teeth digging into my fur. I screeched and kicked him off making him fly into another Smokeclan warrior. I spotted Mosspetal attacking Twigpaw, i ran over, pushing her off the apprentice, she went rolling but quickly got back to her paws. Twigpaw thanked Tigerleap before running off after the apprentice he was chasing earlier, Tigerleap clawed at Mosspetal who ran at him, they stood on their hind legs, hissing, growling, and scratching at each other. Eventually Tigerleap got a perfect hit, everything froze, Mosspetal froze and fell to the floor, everyone turned their way. The bright light of rage in Mosspetal's hazel eyes faded quickly as she struggled to breath, eventually she fell silent and still. "You killed her!".
