I sent Jayshard to gather all the cats so we could leave, with a quick goodbye we headed back out, beside me, only i could see, Rainpelt, Cloudedstar, and Robinstar walking beside us. Rainpelt was on my left and Sparkeye on my right even though he couldn't see his brother, i knew he was there. "Jayshard, can you go ahead with Sparkeye, Splashleaf, and Smokepatch to make sure its clear?" Jayshard nodded and flicked his tail, the warriors following him. "I still can't believe you chose Jayshard as your deputy besides me" Sparkeye hissed before following. "Are we still on track?" i ask Robinstar and Cloudedstar, ignoring Sparkeye. "We should be" Rainpelt said. "Can't be completely sure sense we don't know were we are even going" Robinstar says, i nod. "Anyways, how's my daughter, i didn't have a chance to see her before we left" Robinstar says walking beside me. "Who Honeyfur? Last time i checked she was great, she had Marigoldkit and Flamekit, Marigoldkit is just like you!" Jaggedclaw says appearing in front of us. I smile as they continued to talk before disappearing, but Rainpelt stayed. "Aren't you leaving?" i asked. "Never again" i watch as the patrol appears. "It's safe" i nod and we continued walking. "You can talk to me, they won't hear or notice unless you want them to" Rainpelt said. "If you didn't die, i would have made you deputy". "Why didn't you make Sparkeye deputy?" "I would, but i think he needs to wait, Tigerleap has barley been a warrior". "yes, but he's been one longer then Tangledclaw, and you almost gave Jayshard another apprentice". "One that doesn't need as much training, Featherpaw has already been part warrior, along with her sister, it shouldn't take much training" i insist. "I guess, whatever you think's best Slaigh". We walked in silence before coming to a cave right before it started raining, hard, so hard it started hurting, we got in the cave to rest. "I have a little bit of medicine cat training so i can help heal them, but i'm not a complete medicine cat, theirs so much i can do" Shineclaw says and began to tend the bleeding paws of the cats."My paws hurt!!" Tangledclaw hissed. "all our paws hurt" Littlepool answered. "Can i help?" Mosskit asks me. "Why don't you help Shineclaw tend to the cats?"she shakes her head. "Can i hunt?" i smile and purr at her question. "Maybe Tigerleap and Leopardfang will let you join them" she smiles and runs off. "I'll help Shineclaw!" Hazelkit says running off. "Those two remind me of Sparkeye and I" Rainpelt says. "Marigoldkit and Flamekit reminded me of you and your brother alone, i have no clue who those two remind me of" i say making Rainpelt roll his eyes. "I should get going and let you take care of your 'clan'" he says disappearing. "Jayshard!" he turns my way and walks over. "Has the hunting patrol come back?". "Not yet, but i think that's them" in the entrance of the cave Tigerleap and Leopardfang were shaking water from their pelts while Mosskit easily strolled in with two tiny mice hanging form her mouth. "Slaightstar?" i turn and see Shineclaw beside me with leaves in her mouth. "Oh, thanks Shineclaw, but i'm alright, really" giving an unsure looks she shrugs and walks off. "Looks like the rain's clearing up, we can continue" Stormkit says happily. "By clearing up you mean it started snowing then yes we can" Frostwing and Featherpaw said at the same time. "We'll be fine, come on" i carefully pick up Hazelkit and started walking, Sparkeye and Jadepaw walking beside me. "At least the snow cushions the floor" Ivypaw says. "But it soakes into your fur" Splashleaf complained, her fur dripping from soaking up the water, Spottedpaw behind her having the same problem. Jayshard picked up Spottedpaw carefully and carried her though the snow while Leopardfang and Tangledclaw walked side by side with Splashleaf to help her. It wasn't long when we stopped by a pool of water, surrounded by trees and flower plants that were surrounded by a stone wall. "This looks like a camp, maybe we can stay here?" Sparkeye suggests. "This looks like a good place to live" Jaysharrd says. "Your right Jayshard, we will make this our camp until we figure out this isn't the right place. Take Smokepatch, Shineclaw, Sparkeye and Leopardfang and make sure its safe". They nodded and headed out.
