Sparkeye's pov

Our paws thud against the forest floor, i keep my eyes ahead on the trail, keeping the orange and white striped tail ahead of me, Slaighfur. Beside her i could just make out Splashleaf, in her mouth swung ether Jadekit or Spottedkit. Tigerpaw and Frostpaw beside me and the rest somewhere behind, suddenly we stop, beside a small forest like place near a thunderpath. "Let's rest here" Slaightfur says we nod and lay in a circle. "So should we change our names so we're not noticed?" Frostpaw asks worryingly. "Only if other cats are around" i say, everyone nods. "So what should our names be?" Leopardfang asks. "Well, some of you can just have the first part of your name, because it works, like Leopard, Jay, Spark..." Splashleaf trails off. "What about you guys, Shine isn't to good of a name like that" Tigerpaw says. "I've got it, down the list, Slaightfur is Slaight, Sparkeye is Spark, i'm Jay, Leopardfang is Leopard, Shineclaw could be Shimmer because its close enough, Splashleaf can be Splash,Spottedkit is Spotted, Jadekit can be Jade, Tigerpaw and Frostpaw  can be Tiger and Frost, and Tangledpaw and Littlepaw, i'm still figuring out" Jayshard says. "Perfect" Splashleaf says. "What about us?" Tangledpaw asks, his tail swishing behind him annoyingly. "Little adn Tangled" Littlepaw says, swatting Tangledpaw with her tail. "Of course" Slaighfur purrs. I snort and roll my eyes, mumbling 'of course'. "Then it's set?" i ask, everyone nods. When it gets quiet an unfamiliar voice speaks. "Oh hello! What is a group of cats going around here? Luckily i found you or my Housefolk would have killed ya" we turn to see a cream and white colored tom. "Who are you?" i ask

Tigerpaw's pov

The cream cat looks at all of us, i notice a collar around his neck, this is my first time seeing a kittypet before. "Oh yes, I'm Cal, and who are you? May i ask?" his yellow eyes burn into my fur, making me uncomfortable. "I'm Slaight, this is Spark, Jay, Leopard, Shimmer, Splash, Tiger, Frost, Spotted, Jade, Little and Tangled" Slaighfur says, Cal nods. "Strong names for strong cats. Were ya all headen?" I notice he looks a little older then Slaighfur, but not by much. "Not exactly sure to be honest, i think were following the stars" Sparkeye says, but he keeps his guard up like always. "Maybe i can lead you though the houses safely" he says kindly. Sparkeye was about to protest but both Slaighfur and I beat him to it. "That would be lovely" Sparkeye glares at us both but we just shake it off. I carefully help Frostpaw lead Splashleaf while she carried Jadekit and Spottedkit, and we followed Cal.
