[Kaida and Aric make a narrow escape from the Syndicate's base, but the Syndicate isn't far behind. Syndicate enforcers pursue them through the dark alleyways of Zerith, engaging in a high-speed chase as Kaida and Aric fight off their attackers.]

Aric (shouting):
"They're gaining on us!"

Kaida (gritting her teeth, slicing through a pursuer):
"Then we'll have to make this quick!"

[As they reach an abandoned district, the enforcers surround them. Kaida takes a deep breath, readying herself for the battle to come.]

Kaida (calmly, raising her sword):
"Last chance to walk away."

Syndicate Enforcer (grinning):
"We've got orders to bring you in. Alive or otherwise."

[A fierce battle breaks out as Kaida and Aric fight off wave after wave of attackers. Kaida's sword cuts through the air with deadly precision, her movements fluid and graceful, while Aric provides cover fire with his modified energy blasters.]

Kaida (to Aric, panting):
"Keep moving! We can't let them box us in!"

[They manage to break through the enforcers, but not before Kaida notices something disturbing—one of the fallen enforcers is wearing a familiar symbol, one she hasn't seen in years: the mark of the old technocratic regime. Her heart skips a beat as she stares at it.]

Kaida (whispering):
"How...?"

Aric (breathing heavily):
"What is it?"

Kaida (shaken):
"This isn't just the Syndicate. Someone else is pulling the strings."
