When Kaida was just 12, her peaceful life was shattered by an event known as "The Collapse." A rebellion against the ruling technocracy led to a catastrophic energy implosion, wiping out half of Zerith, including her family. Left orphaned and scarred by the disaster, Kaida was taken in by the rebels, who believed in harnessing her abilities for their cause. Under their harsh training, she became a skilled warrior, learning to wield a powerful sword infused with cybernetic energy.

By the age of 18, Kaida had severed ties with both the technocrats and the rebels, realizing that neither side sought true freedom. She now lives as a rogue, wandering the edges of the city's ruins and unraveling the secrets of her lineage, as well as her growing powers. Her ultimate goal is to find the truth behind The Collapse, and a mysterious force known only as "The Skyward." This force is said to control the fate of the world, and Kaida's connection to it runs deeper than she realizes.

Kaida is a strong-willed and independent woman. While outwardly calm and composed, she is driven by a deep sense of justice, often clashing with the corrupt forces that rule her world. Her past has made her wary of trusting others, but her loyalty to those who earn it is unwavering. Despite her tough exterior, Kaida struggles with the weight of her past and the loneliness of her quest, though she hides it behind a façade of strength.
