All the pups went back to the lookout and Ryder took Rhett to the pound and headed back to the lookout. When Ryder left, somehow, Rhett got the muzzle off and escaped the pound. "I'm coming for you Skye! And Chase..YOU'RE A DEAD PUP!!" said Rhett.

At the lookout

"Hey Chase can we talk?" said Skye. "Of course!" said Chase. "I just want to say thank you for everything you did for me these past few days! It was really sweet of you!" said Skye. "No problem Skye and I know you heard me say what I said to Rhett before he tackled me and it's ok if you don't feel the same." said Chase. "Chase, I do feel the same but I'm just not ready yet. Rhett broke my heart and I don't want anyone to do that to me again but let's give it time." said Skye. "I understand Skye and by the way, you don't have to worry about Rhett anymore." said Chase. "YAY!" said Skye as she walked off.

"Hey Ryder, can I go take a little ride? Just to clear my mind." said Chase. "Of course you can Chase! Just be back before dinner." said Ryder. "I will, thank you Ryder sir!" said Chase as he got in his cruiser and drove off.

With Chase

Chase was driving through the city, clearing his mind. He understands why Skye doesn't want to start a relationship right now, but he was still sad about it. Chase stopped at the beach and watched the sunset, until he heard a noise. Chase's ears perked up and turned around and got in a defensive position, but he didn't see anything. Chase continued to watch the sunset and then something tackled him, and he didn't get a closer look at what attacked him.

Chase got back up and he told the figure to show itself, and he did, it was Rhett. "Rhett?! I thought Ryder took you to the pound!!" said Chase. "HA!! You wish you stupid mutt!! Chase, I warned you to stay away from Skye but you didn't want to listen! And then you put your paws on me! So now I'm going to put you down permanently!" said Rhett. "When are you going to get it through your thick skull that Skye doesn't want anything to do with you! You betrayed her and you put your paws on me first! So whoever threatens me, I'm gonna fight back!" said Chase.

Rhett had enough, he tackled Chase, and Chase used his hind legs to kick Rhett off of him, and Chase  scratched Rhett's chest and but his paw and Rhett grabbed Chase's arm and put it behind his back and then went to the ocean and put Chase's head underwater. Chase began to struggle and then his paws stopped moving and Rhett pulled his head out and then left him lying there by the beach. "Let's go for a ride Chase!!" said Rhett as he put him in the police cruiser and he began to drive Chase's cruiser to the lookout.
