'It's over.' A boy thought as he hides behind the couch as he watches his mother get killed and eating by a zombie in front of him.

'And I'm going to be next.' The zombie saw him and the boy had tears going down his face as the zombie crawls towards him and he can't move cause he knows the zombie is faster than him.

"P-Please... d-don't... e-eat... m-me." He cries as the zombie was too close to him and had it's mouth opened when it was pulled back and killed. He then saw four female zombies that were eating the dead zombie and then turned to him.

"W-Who are..." He fainted making one of the girls to pick him up and held him close and they moved after bringing everything with them. The child's mother was fully eating by the zombie. They then saw three boys and three girls.

Another gently brought them with them to their secret home as they don't care to eat humans. They got their stuff and were at a abounded place and were tucked into bed, but the boy was tucked into a real royal bed cause of his bloodline he has.

They all woke up and saw one zombie at the doorway and was gently brought to their leader who was an inch or two shorter than his own mama while also having black-streaked white hair and burning amber-yellow eyes.

She also had talons on her fingers, feathers scattered in her hair and feather-like tattoos surrounding her eyes, wrists and ankles. He saw she has a little girl near her as she looks scared, but hides behind the zombie with another zombie near by, but male.

"Hello, children. My name is Mary and I'm the leader to the zombies you see here. Souma, stop scaring the little one." He actually pouted as he was acting like a dog, but was a hundred steps away from the little girl as he looks wolf-like while the leader looks owl-like.

"Now to why you are here. We don't eat humans, with Souma trying to hold himself back, as we actually eat zombie brains. We are known as evolution zombies who eat zombie brains and go back to humans. We actually fully protect human children.

It's been four hundred years since we came to being and we care for human children and made sure they had a safe and effective life to the point they have families and friends. You are the next batch and each room is prepared for you from your bloodlines.

One of you has royal blood inside of you and as such, we will treat you as royalty, but you'll still be treated as a normal child." He had badly flinched making the other children to stare at him in shock as the little one comes out more.

"You will still be treated as a child, but the seal must go. I lost the very ability to turn people into zombies and as such, my bite will remove the seal and you will need a day or two to rest before any training with the other children.

For now, you will be shown fully around your new home and you will have a zombie to care for you. Zola, the siblings are your sole responsibility to care for them. Zavala, the sister's friend is yours and they must fully remain close together in training.

Souma, since you like to pick fights, the tonfu wielding boy is yours. Just make sure he knows how to fight with his fits if his weapons are gone and out of his reach. Shinobi weapons is fine as well, too. Best to have secondary weapons in case.

The little one near me will be my responsibility to care for her since she's attached to me. Yua, the last girl is yours. Teach her all about clothing and how to fight like a kunochi with weapons. Harrell, you have him since you got him out there before his father tried to kill him.

I would recommend some sword training since you took the sword for him. Wooden swords are first before he is ready for the real deal." They all nodded before they left and the boy saw one zombie left who gently picks him up and walks to a study.

"My name is Michael and yes, my parents named me after an angel. Now then, little one. Mary didn't mention me was because I'm the same as her with the very turning ability gone. I can remove the seal, but Mary has done it before and has better success.

She can remove it for you." He shakes his head and hugs her making her to bite and he felt pain in his head befor he passed out and woke up in Mary's arms. He felt better and saw Michael who sighs of relief as Mary let's him go.

"Now then. Since Michael got only half before your body started to burn up, she brought you to me fast and I got rid of the rest. She said you preferred her to me, but I had more experiences to this than her. Now then, two days of rest only.

Then you can join the rest of the children in their training." He nods and was giving back to his caretaker who got him four big sandwiches to eat and a glass of fresh goat milk before she tucked him into bed.

"Goodnight, little one. Have sweet dreams and sleep tightly." He fall asleep and dreams of his future really as he likes his new home really and doesn't want to leave it at all really.
